A second chance at love with your brother’s gorgeous bandmate.
It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Chloe Stoll. Not since high school. The same day Ravaged the band was formed.
Her and I were soulmates, but we kept it hidden from her brother. My best friend. My bandmate. She wanted to tell him. I knew what would happen if she did. Things were only going to end bad. And they did.
And now I’m performing the world with her brother. In the biggest band on the planet. All the wealth and fame and girls a guy like me could ever ask for. But there’s one thing missing.
My high school sweetheart.
And guess who comes spinning back into my life…
I remember all those times Those times I made you laugh and cry We stayed up late, we kissed and we loved Why can’t we go back there, baby? Why can’t I see that smile?
Book #2 of the Ravaged Rockstar series. Even though this book can be read as a standalone, it is best to start the series with book #1 (Ravaged For You). Recommended for mature audiences.
Rebecca has had the storytelling bug since... forever!
What Rebecca likes most is writing steamy hot filthy romances with sweet happy endings sprinkled with some delicious bad boys.
Born and raised in an Aussie coastal town, she loves travelling around the world - meeting new people and discovering their stories. Aside from adventuring she also enjoys a good rainy day in with a good book or at a hot beach catching the sun. She’s a world-class napping professional. You’ll most likely find her asleep snuggled up on a sofa somewhere cozy.
Please, take a deep breath, a looooong sentence is ahead!!
I am sorry not sorry, but the following trope being carried out in this usual way has tired me.
When (frequently) there is a hero who has broken up with the love of his life and several years have passed where he has absolutely no contact with the heroine, has been living his life to the fullest and one day he meets her and states “I never stopped loving you”, it completely drives me crazy!!!!!
Moreover, the hero did an unthinkable action and not only did he not grovel but he also didn’t want to apologise!! At least up to 57% where I dnf it eventually...
Rebecca Castle has written a wonderful second book in the Ravaged Rockstars series, this time with Chloe Stoll and Bishop. What an amazing opportunity to see these two side characters in Ravaged for You have their own story in Ravaged by Lust.
Think of this as teen high school sweethearts reunited after a long time of misgivings and time spent apart to truly discover one another again.
There was a lot of banter and sexy moments that made this a 5 star book for me. And I also got to see snippets of my favorite couple from book 1, Maddie and Axel.
Definitely a must read book. Rebecca is an amazing storyteller and I’m not one to ever say no to a well write rockstar romance series. Pick this one up. You won’t regret it.
Bishop and Chloe used to date back in high school, secretly because her brother Axel would not approve. It is not clear to me why he disapproved of his best friend, and how exactly her sister's dating choices were any of Axel's business, but when Axel finds out Bishop and Chloe break up. Axel and Bishop went on to form a successful band, but the events related to the break-up did a number on Chloe's musical self-confidence and she's been shy to perform live ever since. Now one of her songs went viral on the internet and she goes to LA visit her brother and his new girlfriend and to meet a producer. Axel is close with his bandmates so Chloe was bound to come across Bishop sooner rather than later. He won't apologize for what he did but he seems eager to reconnect with Chloe again. Is seven years long enough to let a grudge go, and can Bishop help her get over her nerves and start singing live?
I liked the characters, the general flow of the story, and the writing style, and I finished this in one sitting, or close enough. There is some sexual content. I liked that there was no huge break-up near the end, they had been angry at each other long enough. That old chestnut, the Her-Brother-Disapproves trope always strikes me as a faintly misogynistic, medieval construction. Brothers are no longer expected to guard their sisters' virginity and girls of a certain age have the right to consent to a relationship without input from their male siblings. But thankfully Axel has grown out of it by now and it was mainly just a reason for Bishop and Chloe to break up initially without any cheating.
The romance stands alone but there are recurring characters and the next book is set up here.

The book seemed like an assignment given to a a high schooler. Or someone prudish trying to write on the wild side. I found myself several times saying out loud “that’s so stupid”………… To the point my daughter said jeez mom just stop reading it. But since it was my novel from the author I wanted to say I read it so I could review it honestly. The words don’t flow, it seemed like someone used a thesaurus every so often to throw a big word in, used the F word yet seemed prudish at other times lol. It was one big cliche. Like throw in all the terms and tropes of being a rock star mix it around and there’s a story. I hated the main male character, he was just a d-bag best friend of her brother. Stole the fmc song she wrote about him to audition at her audition, he gets in the band with her brother and goes on to be famous and literally stole her dream when he wasn’t even interested in performing. Comes right out and says he did it out of revenge for her telling her brother they were dating??? Her brother allowed the destruction of her dreams and went on to keep him as his best friend and band mate…… MMC Has no remorse and even says “if I didn’t do that then I wouldn’t have this house or be famous “. Ummm excuse me? Refuses to say sorry then sweeps in at last minute to say sorry at end of book to rescue her from stage fright in front of music execs….. fmc can’t even save herself????? This seriously reads as a hate novel to women. There was the stereotypical gay character (totally written poorly and like a token). Soooooooo many little things going on that added up to a big NOPE to get reading from this author again. Boring, cliched out the bum, stilted, characters you just never connect with and definitely don’t like. Really really really a waste of time. Yawn 🥱.
Bishop: Guitarist with top rock band Ravaged. Chloe: Little Sister of Ravaged's Bassist Axel. The 2 have a history. Before Ravaged formed Bishop & Chloe were a hot but secret item behind Bishop's best friend & Chloe's older Brother Axel's back. Both teens are guitarists planning to audition for a band being formed by someone in their school. However Chloe is struggling to keep the secret from her Brother & breaks her word to Bishop by telling Axel about her relationship. Axel goes & fights Bishop. In revenge Bishop performs a song Chloe wrote for him at the audition & claims it as his own. Chloe watches this & is left not only so upset that she's unable to perform her own audition but with a lasting fear of public performance. So after Ravaged form, take off & became the biggest band on the planet Chloe is left working in a high street store whilst writing & performing her music & putting the odd video online that she films in her bedroom. The two haven't seen each other or communicated in 16 years. Then Axel gets with Maddie & announces they're having a baby. Chloe has to go meet her Brother's new girlfriend. At the same time one of Chloe's latest vids suddenly goes Viral & she's contacted by the biggest music exec's firm to come in & see them. This also happens to be the firm Ravaged are contracted to. Inevitably whilst at Axel & Maddie's home, Chloe runs into Bishop. Yes predictably on both sides the feelings are still there. Maddie hates Bishop though & can't forgive what he did. Bishop feels it was tit for tatt & refuses to apologise. You'll have to read it yourself to see what happens next........... Once again despite a decent storyline & great characters I can only give 4 stars because of the appalling editing ( or complete lack of it ). Bad spelling, atrocious grammar & wrong or missing words.
“I want you to want me, Chloe. It’s going to happen.” Those words from the guy who broke her heart seven years ago and I knew this book was going to rock my soul. Everything Bishop said to Chloe after that had me hanging on to every word, he was going to win and I was already rooting for him. I don’t know what he did to break her heart but I already forgive him, I’m sure her brother Axel was involved in the heartbreaking. So Chloe finally reveals what Bishop did to her in high school and I’m totally team Chloe. Yes Bishop is still in love with her after all this time but he feels zero remorse for what he did to her, no empathy at all. I was frustrated on her behalf, and for a moment there I thought maybe he was autistic. All she wanted from him was a simple apology, but nope he wouldn’t and he honestly saw no reason for it. But their chemistry is undeniable and when they finally forgive each other and kiss, my Kindle could have exploded. There’s also the little story going on about Axel and Chloe mom and Winston, he’s Maddie’s old boss. The ending is great, so romantic. I loved this book giving it five stars and highly recommend it. Can’t wait to start book three.
This book wasn't as good as the first book. I felt like overall the book was rushed. Everything that happened was over a span of like 2 weeks and that didn't help me feel much connection between Bishop and Chloe. I did enjoy the flashbacks of their previous relationship when they were younger. Those helped at least form a little bit of a connection between them. I just didn't believe Bishop's love for Chloe. He went from this 'playboy' image to all of a sudden realizing he's been in love with Chloe the entire 7 years they were apart, and I just didn't feel it. There really wasn't much conflict in the story and I felt like the writing on this one was also a little choppy and different from the first book. I also had no desire to read about Chloe and Axel's mom with Winston. It was a boring and not needed part of the story. This book also seemed to be written to almost continue Axel and Maddie's story as there were quite a bit of updates from them throughout the book which kind of took away from the book being primarily about Bishop and Chloe.
Rebecca Castle is quickly becoming one of my fave authors, and in terms of rockstar romances she's pushing the bar. I'm obsessed with this series and the moment I finished the first one, I wanted the second one. I tried to hold out and pace myself, but ended up reading the whole thing in one day. I ended up tearing up at the hair salon, while simultaneously praying my stylist wasn't looking at the "spicy" scene on my phone. Second chance romances always pull at my heart strings, especially when there is a long history, like the one Chloe and Bishop have. It was also adorable to see Maddie and Axel's relationship bloom and develop as the story went on. Their love is a special one, and I am excited to see how Chloe will continue to be apart of the Ravaged story now that her career is taking off. Oh, and that cliffhanger at the end? Ohh boyyyy. Hand over book 3 nOW.

“Despite all the money and success, some things never change.”
This is book two in the Ravaged series, here we have Bishop, the band’s lead guitarist, and Chloe, Axel’s sister and Bishop’s high school girlfriend. Bishop is nothing like Axel and is much easier to like. He and Chloe broke up years before and in many ways they have both been broken ever since. This story was more emotional and I really enjoyed it. I wanted them to finally get their HEA.
Caspian’s story is next. He’s the drummer and I have a thing for drummers so I’m looking forward to it. He’s very different from the other band members and I have a feeling he’s one of those deep-well kind of guys. I really can’t wait!.

This is the second book I am reading by this author and am absolutely in awe with the author writing style and can’t wait to read more books by her. Ravaged by lust is the second book in the series, it can be read as standalone but I would highly recommend reading the series from the beginning. We get Chloe and Bishop story. Bishop is her brother band mate . It’s a beautiful heartfelt second chance romance. Though it ends in the cliffhanger, I can’t wait for the next book to see how their story would unfold. Highly recommend this book and this series. If you are new to this author like me than give her a chance you won’t regret it. Found another hidden gem . Looking forward to reading more books by Rebecca Castle .
You know that there always seems to be issues with a brother’s best friend romance and Axel’s sister, Chloe and bandmate Bishop, definitely fall into this category. Those two had kept their relationship under wraps at the very beginning. Chloe had wanted to tell of their relationship Bishop thought that it wouldn’t be good for the band that was just forming.
Now years later the band has made it to the big times and with that came everything a man could dream of but Bishop was realizing one thing…he was missing what he had with Chloe.
What a good second chance romance that now has me wanting for more.
Bishop is the lead guitarist of Ravaged. Chloe is the little sister of Axel; Ravage’s bassist and Bishop’s best friend.
Bishop & Chloe had a secret relationship before Ravaged formed, even hid it from Axel. When Axel finds out things aren’t pretty. Chloe tells him because she wants to clear her conscious. Bishop, angry with her backstabs Chloe in a way that she doesn’t forgive.
Fast forward 7 years and they run into one another again. Many mean words are spoken, attempts of avoidance, and feelings of hatred are high from Chloe. Bishop hangs in there not willing to concede to defeat.
Chloe and Bishop were together in high school, but after Bishop’s betrayal they haven’t spoken for 7 years. Chloe sings and posts her video’s online but after a video goes viral she suddenly gets an invite to speak to a music producer. After meeting up with her brother Axel and his girlfriend Maddie, she finds herself in Bishop’s company. This is a great book, building tension along the way. I like both Chloe and Bishop as characters plus, I like revisiting characters from earlier books and see how they continue to develop. This is a good book and a good continuation in the series.
This is two of my favourite tropes, and for that I love the plot. However, this is my second book by this author and I cannot get into her writing style. There’s hardly any inference it’s like everything has to be explained in the minute detail and to be honest it grated on me. So I couldn’t finish. Will it stop me from reading the rest of the series? Yes. But I do understand everyone is different, so give it a go if you like rockstar and bf little sister tropes
The writing is lacking. Dialog doesn’t flow well; it’s not how real people speak. That said, I liked the plot line. I did not like Bishop. Like, at all. He basically stole Chloe’s future and left her with crippling performance anxiety. And he can’t say he’s sorry? Wow. But he marries her. And Chloe? She’s bitter and rightly so. But, enter sex, and she’s swept away. She marries him. Then, Caspian breaks. What a set up for the next book. While these aren’t high literature, they are quick reads. I’ll continue the series.
Ravage by Lust is a second chance, between Bishop and Chloe. Old high school sweetheart who broken up when they were young and her brother, Axel, found out, but never really able to repair their hearts. Now it is their chance to see if they can find the love the lost years ago.
Loving this series and the characters.

It was great to read Chloe’s story since she was talked about so mysteriously in the first book. Axel’s sister was definitely a force to be reckoned with although she had lots of vulnerabilities…all of them surrounding Bishop, her brother’s bandmate and lead guitarist for Ravaged.
The second book in this series was as good as the first, loving these stories. Bishop was an arse to Chloe, but he doesn’t see that an apology would go a long way to healing old wounds, Chloe has struggled with severe stage fright ever since Bishop betrayed her, can forgiveness be accomplished in time for Chloe to get her big break??
I really enjoyed Ravaged By Lust! It was a great read. It was well written, the characters are fantastic, and the storyline is great. I'll definitely be reading more!
So I went straight from reading the first book to the second book and it’s 5:30 in the evening and I did not get a thing done today Guess I’ll be making up time tomorrow or maybe later this week because I still am going to keep reading the other books.
DNF ~75% but really more towards 65% I’ve never cared so little about a book while also feeling this level of hatred and disdain towards the main guy. Like what a total dickwad and douchebag this dude is 🚩🚩☠️ (also he did the bare minimum and even managed to still make it feel slimy)
Enjoyed Bishop and Chloe's story, but found the ending strange, as I felt I was left up in the air on what more happened after the group got back to LA, and what happens with Chloe's future in music?! I hope next book in this series explains more.
Loved it! Finished it in one sitting! My only tip is the spelling and grammar could have used another once over. Looking forward to Caspian’s story next.
Another great addition to this series. I didn't enjoy this one quite as much as book one as for a majority of the book I didn't like Bishop at all, and the choice he made to hurt the h without care. It took him way too long to realise his wrongdoing. He did rectify it at the end and I enjoyed the crazy whirlwind side of their story with it being a second chance romance. Definitely a great rockstar series that's not the usual.
