Whew! Camilla and Kian didn’t waste a single minute. They came in hot with the intense chemistry and didn’t waste each other’s time pretending they weren’t attracted to one another. Their sexual tension was off the charts and no guidance was needed for this love connection. Camilla and Kian went right after what they wanted without a single ounce of regret and I was here for it. These two were HOT! The phone sex and the office quickie had me over here blushin’ hard! Ma’am, you know you wrote the hell out of those sex scenes. Hell, you almost had me dumpster diving in bad decisions and regret. 😏😏😏 I absolutely loved this book. It was sexy and filled with pearl clutchin’ goodness. I really enjoyed the love connection between Camilla and Kian. My only complaint is that it wasn’t longer. Well done Ms. Allen. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Danielle can write a MF phone sex scene and they never miss. It’s something about a MC who knows exactly what he wants and takes control, is confident but not cocky and so HOT HOT HOT. I inhaled this lmao loved every minute of it.

Short & Sexy

The Doctors got it popping almost immediately….Camilla & Kian met and there was instant chemistry. Kian knew exactly what he wanted and went after her.

Welp, this was different. This one IMO was more erotica than anything. I thought I felt a little chemistry emotionally, like maybe romantic compatibility between Cam and Kian, but I don't think that's what it was. It was definingly lust, it was just sex. Their sexual chemistry was off the chart. Their behavior was almost teen like. Like the phone conversation started off cute, like a couple kids who liked one another...it was hella cute. But then it switched to some vivid grown up things. Let me tell you, Danielle Allen wrote the heck out of those sex scenes. They were super descriptive. But overall, this was enjoyable. Cam was a bit overwhelmed with work...life and need to some relief. Someone to take care of her. Kian delivered. He took care of her alright.

Quiet Connection

This book was quietly sexy af. 

I love when you can feel the connection jumping off the page. Dr. Camille Branch was a new School Psychologist at a prestigious Elementary school. Dr. Kian Long was an Anesthesiologist who's daughter attended the Elementary school Cam worked at. When he shows up to her office, he took her breath away. These two had a connection immediately. I loved the time spent getting to know each other. The sweet gestures Kian gave to show his interest, despite them not being able to spend time together in person. 

This was low-key a cliff hanger because I am dying to see what is next for them. However, it was well written and I appreciated the underlying connection that was felt from the time they met.

I loved this so much. Cam gives so much of herself away to her job, but here come Kian willing to take care her in all the right ways. This was everything! Intense, short, and sexy. Just perfect.

The ONLY thing I didn’t like about this was the lack of trigger warnings for parental death and mention of heart attack. If these are triggers for you, please be warned.

Otherwise, this was short and sweet and to the point. I really liked Kian. I loved how into Cam he was. It was perfect and hot 🙌🏾

I wish there was more to read about this couple. They seemed so sweet and perfect level of chemistry.

The way this was so good. I initially wanted to rate it 3 stars because some of the dialogue felt like it dragged on too long and was a little cheesy. But I really like the overall message. Black women deserve love and care and attention. They take care of everyone else, to have someone care for you is not only beautiful but it’s necessary. And I liked that theme throughout. Plus, the sex was hot so, 4 stars. 😗😏😮‍💨🙈

This book was such a quick,sexy, and steamy read!

I loved the chemistry between Cam & Kian and from the moment they meet it seems to be sparks flying. The spicy scenes were just that and I loved that it featured a good ole fashion phone session it totally gave it a cute retro feel and I loved it!

Overall I give this book 4 stars because while I knew it was novella going in it just left me wanting more! Danielle Allen is quickly becoming one of my new favorite authors!

Short, hot. What took me out of the book is I was just imagining a parent and a teacher fucking in the admin block during prize giving day in primary school. Didn't sit right in my thoughts and made me laugh at the same time because there is no privacy in school, even if an area is marked out of bounds, best believe someone will be in that area.

Guidance is the romance between school psychologist Camilla and Kian, the concerned father of one of her students. I went into the book completely blind, was extremely positively surprised and have already added more stories by Danielle Allen to my tbr.

Although they are attracted to each other from their first meeting on, the relationship is properly developed and builds upon their shared care for his daughter’s wellbeing and memories of their time at the same university. Their chemistry is off the charts, and the sex scenes were well written too.

Also, everyone needs a Kian in their life as he is a real romantic and understands the three Fs to a woman’s heart: flowers, food and foot massages :)

3.5 stars. it was cute and the perfect length. were they moving unrealistically fast or was it fire at first sight? i’d like another story updating them on life once their relationship is well established and settled in.

the first half was so sweet and the second half had me eyes wide in surprise clutching my pearls lmaoo. i didn’t expect for them to be doing allathat that fast🤣
