The last book in the series was such a chore for me to read. Because of Lena taking until the last 4 or so chapters to finally mesh with Mae. Because of the convoluted Dani storyline. All Lena/Mae had to do was burn Dani, as she did all other people who were trying to kill her, yet she couldn't, tv logic style and finally when Dani is gone, it's so swift there is no real satisfaction. Lena was too damsel in distress, woe is me when she had the power to embrace Mae in all her fullness and save herself and in turn, save everyone else.
I generally don't like asshole/bully romances so Ark wasn't my favourite predator. How he kept fighting for Lena and also his kingdom, no matter what, that I loved.
I would've loved a more detailed epilogue.

This is the last book in the Tribe series, and it looks like I might need to start another emotional support group *sobs*. This is Ark’s book, and Lena aka Mae goddess of fire and lies. Sooooo, you know all the predators are extra af right, well I am pretty sure that Ark out extra’s all of them, he is so over-the-top, and I couldn’t quit laughing at him. Add in when he is with the other predators, they’re like a bunch of frat boys, which I think I’ve said before, but doesn’t make it any less true, they are so damn funny. So Ark has a bit of a mom “situation”, as a matter of fact I am pretty sure his family gives a new meaning to the word dysfunctional, and it puts a bit of a twist on the games, but Ark doesn’t let that stop him. He will stop at nothing to get his goddess aka human.
Brace yourself for a great storyline, with two of the most amusing characters in this series. The heat between these two, especially when they make fire *winks*, is off the charts. Lots of laughs, and quite a few twists and turns. An epilogue with multiple timelines, and a hea. A great ending to a great series *sobs*. “Might as well do a fucking cartwheel.”
… because MJ knew what she was doing when she kept Ark for last. This novel concludes the series with some political drama and epic battle scenes. How one puts all of that in this short of a novel I’ll choose to not question. At the end of the day it makes for entertaining times. I’m glad to finish the whole series on a high note. I just wish this symbiotic (and even nurturing) relationship the heroine had with the goddess that inhabited her body and “became a part of her” was explored more.
CW : there’s a pretty graphic scene revolving around an eye that’s popped out of its socket.

Perfect Conclusion
The perfect conclusion to the tribes series! I’m so sad to see it end but can’t wait to read what Milan’s comes up with next. Ark was such a ass at times but so funny! And Lena (or Mae) was the perfect fit for him. She was so sweet and a bit sarcastic herself (loved) and seeing her grow into the powerful goddess she is was amazing.
The perfect conclusion to the tribes series! I’m so sad to see it end but can’t wait to read what Milan’s comes up with next. Ark was such a ass at times but so funny! This is another simply wonderful read, great characters and wonderful plot
This was a simply riveting read that I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of, the plot was simply wonderful and was so wonderfully written as always. You will find that once you begin to read you will be drawn into the plot and like myself find it impossible to put down util you reach the final page and discover the outcome.
On Nomra Prime the inhabitants believe that Mae is a goddess in human form who is also known as Mae but this is a fact she completely denies, she is a strong character a woman that has known a hard life and she knows how to be tough, the foster care system and children raised in it soon learn that they have to adapt or else !!!
Ark is aware of Mae but he is trying to continue in his daily life as though nothing at all has changed, she is taunting his sexuality and he is doing his best to ignore the effects however she is making him feel as though he is losing control.
This is such a sexually charged read you will love every moment of this simply wonderful book I assure you that it will be impossible to put this book down until the end. I assure you that you will enjoy every single moment of this book.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

I was rather sad to finish this series but not to worry...I see Ms. Jacks is quite prolific and has other series to read. Now I am happy again. But that is neither here nor there. This last book "Arked" was my favorite book so far in the series. Good plot and by the time you get to the last book you are quite familiar with the main characters which is always enjoyable. Again though I must reiterate my previous warning that if you aren't enthusiastic about quite graphic sex (I enjoy learning new sex things even though I am 68) then this book is not for you. Profanity too, but I have no problem with that either since my vocabulary includes many swear words and in a few languages also.
Please read these books if the above warnings do not apply to your moral code. Ms. Jacks has a simply splendid sense of humor which comes through loud and clear in her writing. So ever onward...will start her "Angel" series now...hmmm...how dirty can Angels get I wonder? Guess I'll soon find out!

Milana created Alien culture and mythology that adds so much to the action of the story and the characters, add the spicy heat, tension, a happy ending, and it's a winner for me.
The suspense in Arked seemed hightened more than the others, not sure if that was just my mood when reading.
While typically the lies Lena tells herself and other would feel juvenile, knowing the impetus came from the very nature of the goddess, it felt playful in a Loki kind of way. Not to mention those around her knew who and what she was.
I found it interesting that while I normally would have been disturbed by the amount of killing and violence, however the manner that the characters view and even revere fate, and the right of might, tempers the feral violence somehow.
I did like the theme that through the introduction of humanity the sharp edges of bloodlust are tempered and that enables cohesion and enriches the culture.

Fantastic Finale ~ This is a voluntary Advanced Reader Copy review of ‘Arked’. I loved reading this book. I like the breakdown of characters at the beginning of the book. It gives me a refresher course, reminding me of the previous players and their stories. Ark and Lena a slow dance in mating rituals, romance, war and Goddesses. I liked that he made peace while preparing for war. Loved that the other Goddess reminded him that he had to love both the human and his Goddess, as she is, and make her whole. I loved that she fought for him, to be with him and loved him too. The epilogue, was fantastic. It was an ending, yet, had the possibility of another beginning. When you read this series, read it in order. I loved that this story and whole series, pulled me right into their universe, and I enjoyed every minute of it!

a fitting conclusion to a STELLAR series! milana jacks writes such great characters, with sweeping worlds, high heat, and a helping of humor like no other!! hands down the best, funniest "bro banter" around! regular readers of MJ will recognize inside jokes tbat run THROUGHOUT her many series!! (let's just say,the magic word isn't abracadabra!!) ark and lena are an amazing couple you root for,and seeing the other goddesses and their guys is like revisiting old friends. and that preview of the new series?!?!? more fiery than mae!!! i can't wait!! five stars only because that's all i'm allowed to give!!!

Ark is the latest story in the Tribes series and Lena and Ark come together in this book. Ark is hilarious and with the other predators is like a member of the boys club. Trying to pretend Lena has no effect on him - what a hoot.
The adventure, emotion, light hearted read is heaven in a world of confusion and angst we are living in today. It's great to be able to "immigrate" to another planet and get away from the reality of life every now and again, and one of Milana's books will guarantee a really worthwhile escape.

Wonderful and everything I wanted to read - the tense and wonderfully contradictory communication between two who somehow end up being totally suited and meant for each other.
The focus on the two and the super exciting story around it and a few Tribe things and the slightly stupidly cute macho attitude of the Alphas and those who think they are - that's the entertainment I'm looking for and love with Milana Jacks and her cheeky heroines with a lot of heart.

Wow what an awesome read. This is the final book in the Tribes trilogy. Ark is so much fun and madly in love with Lena, the goddess Mae of fire and lies. His humour, banter and passion conclude this epic love story. He will not rest until he marks and makes her his. Unfortunately having to kill those closest to him that stand in his way.

Wow good read. Last book of this series. A couple of times I got lost but was able to get back on track. If you didn’t read the first five books of this series go read them first. Ark destined to be Ra’s ruler has to deal with his evil mother and half younger brother. But with Lena (Mae goddess of fire) by his side he won’t loose. Good read good series.

What a bummer, it's the end of the series and I'll have to re-read the stories again in the future, cuz they're so freaking Awesome 😃. I'M SO SAD THIS SERIES IS OVER!!! I loved this world so much. I have been waiting for Ark and he did not disappoint, he is everything you excepted and so much more. He's cunning, and so intelligent, he's loyal and he has a good thought on the future. Mae chose wisely. Mae is cunning as well. Street smarts and book smarts in a beautiful package.

Milana saved the best for last. Ark and Lena had it all, mega action and adventures. It kept me on the edge of my seat to see if Ark accomplished everything he said he would. Not only did he become the Rai of his people, he mated the goddess of fire and lies, Lena. Long live the tribes!!!

Milana never fails
I have yet to read a MJ book and not love it. I can’t even point to my favorite book or series. I can promise that this series is at the top. What I love is no long drawn out anything. Straight to business, extremely well wrote characters and the plots are awesome and often unpredictable. Off to read my next MJ book ;)

excellent end to the series
Loved the storyline and the last book. Did not like Lena at all, come around to liking Ark. I honestly wish these were a bit longer, it feels like we could have dig deeper into the story and relationships.
I wish we saw interaction between all the goddesses. I am kind sad it was briefly skimmed over tbh.

SAD TO SEE THEM GO!!
Ahh. It’s the last book in the series and as always it’s soo good. Totally going to miss this world with it Predators, and sassy humans. Lots of action, intrigue, and smexy times. Love this series and really wish there was more books to come.

Epic finale to the series.
Ark is just insane. As are all those guys. But so fun.
This time, the h was cool. Lena/Mae had literally fire and she was so believable.
That world is so awesome. I wouldn't mind to see more of it. Other tribes for example.

Amazing Series Ending!
I love this series and this book! Great world building and character development. Love to see the characters in each book. All the witty banter and steamy scenes. If you haven’t read this series you need to grab book 1 and start immediately!

Talk about a perfect ending to a series!
No questions are left unanswered plus, I love how she gives us a glimpse into the future.
The stories may not be for everyone but, if you like strong funny h and strong H, this will satisfy.

Excellent series!! Read them all in a week!! The character build is fantastic and although I’m sad the Tribes are done, it was a perfect ending! You will not be disappointed!!

Beautiful ending to the series!!
Ark is my second favorite, next to Hart. This book did not disappoint...so much action, and all the characters joining together. It was a perfect ending to the series!

Lol I really enjoyed this story. Lena and Ark were great together. The world building continues to be awesome. The ending was pretty funny and cute. Loved the Laugh out loud moments. I would recommend this series.

Wow!
I have enjoyed the series to no end. The action, the romance and the humor are at their best. It had me in the edge everything. Best series ever. Loved it very much. Thank you author, with your help I was able to escape the daily grind.
