Cute little story. Not really romance, mostly just drama surrounding the surprise shift of 8 month son of FMC (who didn’t know shifters existed or what to do). Characters meet for the first time and basically swap numbers so you can assume they’ll go on a real date soon.
I haven’t read this author before (except as Zoe Chant) but I think this wasn’t a good book to start with since it ties into another series. I’m assuming the series has a bit more romance and is probably pretty cute since it deals with little shifter kids but I don’t think it’s for me.

Amazing story about a shifter
A polar bear named Clay was to go on a not date with Chloe who has a son under a year. She canceled the not date because unexpectedly her son shifted into a penguin. Hilarious explanations could lead into romance. Look for the next book in this series.
A quick, funny, and enchanting story that comes with my high recommendation.

Short, cute story! leaves you wanting more!
As cute as a baby penguin! Surprises abound with a NOT a date, date.
I finished this and immediately downloaded the next book and will be looking for more to read from this author.
I rarely give 5 stars, but this just made me smile and want to know more about the characters lives.

Chloe is a single mom of a little boy. She’s doing okay but gets totally surprised when her little boy turns into an animal since she didn’t know about shifters. She and Clay were going out when this happens and she cancels. He senses that she’s upset and sets out to discover why. This is a short, sweet novella about a mom discovering the shifter world.

Aww, these day care for shifters stories are just so cute. How can you not fall in love with a kid who unexpectedly starts turning into a penguin and his harried human mom, who had no idea this was going to happen?

Cute and sweet light read. Not really romance orientated but enjoyable.

This is such a sweet and cute short story set in the same world as the Day Care for Shifters series. I loved Clay and Chloe and of course Ryan was so cute. Can't wait to read more.
