Insightful and thought provoking. Chapter 19 sealed the deal for my 5 Star rating of this book. A must read for those who want an understanding of where quantum computing and AI can lead us in the future.

Provides a good snapshot of where the AI/QC community is at as the book strings together essays written by experts across industry and academia. Where it falls short is its selection of experts. Some of the essays read like sales pitches stuffed with as many buzzwords that were allowed under a specified word count written by those who have likely never written a line of code in their life. That said, this was a small minority.

It was also surprising to discover that none of the featured experts highlight corporate culture/corporate data maturity as one of the main obstacles to QC adoption. Many companies today are no where near optimized despite the availability of classical AI/ML because they simply do not have well-rounded leadership, an analytics/data-driven culture, technical talent, and/or a sufficient data infrastructure to go from zero to one, but according to the authors, QC fused with AI/ML will be god's next gift to humanity so long as you have the hardware, software, and law makers who know what they are doing; the last of which is as hard as scaling QC itself.

This book is at best a 3.5 and if you have already read "Quantum Supremacy" by Michio Kaku, it will add marginal value.

A couple of chapters were a bit behind in thinking. Overall, this was a good amalgamation. I am no expert in the field of AI and Machine learning, but this book describes scenarios well. It's no mystery that quantum computing will make AI today look like the pong game in the future.
