A detailed introduction to spiders and insects contains information about every major group of arachnids and insects, hundreds of thought-provoking facts, and full-color pictures and photographs.
It gives a basic introduction of different groups of insects and spiders and then goes into detail about different species. There are corresponding illustrations. I think it would've been much cooler if there had been actual pictures. The species specific descriptions were also very vague. But I guess its alright for a beginner's book for kids.
I thought that the book was good because it had lots of interesting facts about insects and spiders. Also, I learned about insects and spiders I never heard of. Someone who likes reading about bug facts should read this book because I loved it so much. S, age 10
