Young, naïve, and stunning, Katrina is trying to make it as a model in Paris, sharing a tiny, run-down dorm and only just scraping a living. She's about to cut her loses and head back to London when she's spotted one night and asked out by the ultimate movie heart-throb, actor Dominic Cayley. She knows not to get too excited though—his girlfriends never last longer than a few dates. But when he keeps turning up on her doorstep, whisking her off for super-glam party weekends in Monaco, showering her in expensive jewels and designer clothes, she's more than happy to be swept off her feet.
I love that my book....I felt good a romantic and I was bit laugh that say “ you’re an absolute bitch! He yelled after her. Have a shit night” haha...I made me ohhh, serious! ...that’s my fav book
It is sort of the first book where I got myself addicted to and thereafter, start to love reading. It is a simple "model-romance" story but it is a good read. It was years ago that I read this book but come to think of it I've been so addicted back then that everywhere I go I'll just be reading it and when it comes to an end, it saddened me. The ending could be better though.
A solid chick-lit read for sunny days. The story was consistent and entertaining and if you're into "Movie-Star-falls-in-Love-with-slightly-weird-girl"-Stories, then this is for you. ;)
A good solid read, obviously you don;t expect deep meaning and philosophy from chick-lit but you do expect it to be well written, entertaining and pacey and this book was all of that.
Bleh, this was rubbish. But it was $3. Still, some chicklit is good, some chicklist is good chicklit, some chicklit just isn't. This was in the third category.
This is a very good book to read. it's a good chicklit yet the romance is superb. it makes you feels like that guy is an complete jerk yet you still loves it. worth buying.
