Better than Volume 3! And at least we got back on track with an actual plot rather than…whatever the ending of Volume 3 was supposed to be. The story is still very chill despite the dire things happening and with what’s going on I’m actually interested again in continuing as long as my library gets the volumes. Hubert and Melissa are acting more cute together too then they were in Volume 3, which was nice.

The one problem I had (and have had for a bit, it’s just more noticeable now) is that some of the guys are drawn almost alike (Hubert, Louis, and the prince guy) and it’s super hard sometimes to tell who is who unless you’re really studying them—and even then I kept getting them mixed up! Also a few lines of dialogue didn’t make sense, but overall it was a pretty good continuation of this series.

I still don't know how I feel about the relationship, but I will say that my interest is piqued. I want to know what's going on.

Oh boy, this knight sure stepped in it with his callous actions and ultimatums. Good to see the dragon knights clearly don't believe his claims that the dragons attacked Melissa or that she in any way provoked them. Anyone who knows anything about dragons or has seem them together even without knowing of Melissa's importance to the White Queen and Lord Hubert would be able to tell they adore her. Curious why the cut off communication though and just what Blue is thinking. It's clear while he was wary of the prince, he does not like this newcomer at all.

Things are starting to get very interesting. The government is showing its ugly face now that they know how close Melissa is, not only to all dragons, but the Blue King and White Queen as well. I hope Lord Hubert sticks it to them for messing with his girl!

They keep referencing how a dragon has never been paired with a woman before, but I have all fingers crossed right now, hoping that Melissa and Blue will become paired in the future! I would love that so much!

This series keeps getting better! I am definitely hooked!

I binge read these so no idea where one starts and the other finished. 1-8. All I know is I went another clicked clicked and clicked until there was no more. Damning thing is that this wasn't a completed series and the wait for the next one goes on. I liked it. Tons of dragons. Age gap romance and pretty much arranged marriage set by a dragon. I liked Blue, he grew up so quickly. The decorating bit was the sweetest. Loved how the knights follow suit. The prince was cool, he deserves his dragon. Liked how he gained a daughter too. Cute series with pain in the ass powers that be not taking a hint.

Hubert gets word that the palace is interested in taking away Melissa! Finally some drama. It’s nice that they’ve already confessed and are trying to get to know each other better but I wanted something a bit more because it was starting to drag. Royalty shows up and his stuck up body guard causes trouble for the dragons and they cut off connections to all their riders and take Melissa away. Now this is a cliffhanger I don’t mind.

I liked that we actually get to see the dragons communicate with their knights. Before it was more of Melissa talking to them who can't hear their voices and kind of doing that response you do with your pets. It's interesting to see how the pact between dragons and humans work as well as seeing how the royal family desires to control it all. Can't wait to read the next.

Melissa, what are your secrets?! (Not that she has a clue.)

I will forever love the connection Melissa has with the dragons, especially with Blue. I don't know what's up with that knight/bodyguard, but if Blue doesn't like him then I don't like him. Hah!

And please tell me that these two will eventually get married and SUCCESSFULLY get a day off together? Please?!

The art is absolutely stunning. This volume is my favorite so far. We really see Melissa's character developing and also get a lot of political intrigue. I can't wait to see how the story develops in the next volume.

This one was definitely not as cringe inducing as the first three volumes. It’s left me looking forward to the next volume, where as volume 3 had me saying that I would only give this series one more chance.

I love these characters and the dragons so much. The romance is adorable though I do hope now that their relationship is official she won't be working as his maid much longer. It feels weird.

There were a few grammar mistakes. The story feels like it's getting slower as well, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Things are starting to get interesting! There’s romance, dragon politics and shady characters trying to coerce Melissa, oh my! I wonder if this is leading up to blue wanting to bond with Melissa.

Okay this was better than volume 3. Now I’m debating if I continue it or not… it can be a bit jumbled but the artwork is nice.
