Rate this book
Starting with “All McQueen’s Men” and ending with “Zoe White and the Seven Whores,” these twenty-six stories give new meaning to the expression “bedtime stories.” Wicked stepsisters tell how they really earned their reputation. The Ugly Duckling seduces her high school crush at her ten-year reunion. Cinderella transforms for one night into a dominatrix. And Goldilocks tries out many things before finding what feels “just right.” Clever, flirtatious, and always naughty, these titillating tales will have readers yearning for more.

These are not top-notch erotica, but they are fun and sexy. Definitely worth a read.

This is one book I'm ashamed to have by my bed. It is really trashy. Luckily the pink and taupe cover blends in with my bedding and can lie camouflaged on my duvet when my flatmate bursts in on me unexpectedly.

I mention it here only because there is one story that lifts it above the average. It is tucked away at the back so you might miss it. It's called Zoe White and the Seven Whores.

I told you it was trashy.

This story is by Thomas S. Roche and, to be honest, it is not his best story. It is light and frothy. It reads like he dashed it off before his morning cappuccino. But he is one of my favourite authors because every sentence he writes either thrills me or makes me laugh.

Zoe White and the Seven Whores had me in stitches. I don't usually laugh out loud when I'm reading but with this one I did and, what is worse, I was on my own.

Yes, I know.

I'm reluctant to recommend it. Humour is a very personal thing.

A collection of fairy tales from brand new to revisited tales. Saucy and very adult, not recommended for children. Since the tales are from all different authors the styles and range varies from piece to piece. Some a very good and others are not so much so, but as a whole the collection is nicely put together.

This was a fun read. Not as scintillating as some erotica anthologies I've read, but still entertaining. Some of the stories actually made me laugh aloud and I appreciated the twist on classic fairy tales.

This book was occasionally sexy and often silly. In other words, it was fun to read in a smutty, smirking sense. Definitely not the highbrow erotica you might come across in more serious books. In fact, this is one book you can absolutely judge by its cover.

This was mostly silly little stories based on fairy tales but with a decidedly naughty bent. It was mostly fun and steamy. The story 'Belles on her Toes' was probably my favorite - a ghostly erotic tale. Fine for a little bedside reading.

Thought it was okay. While I appreciate the twist on well-known fairy tales, the story lines that the authors came up with seemed fairly trite to me

Ummm, where to even begin here. I think disclaimers were needed for this. Like I needed some XXX warnings. I thought I purchased like a mildly scandalous retelling of fairytales. Nope. Each story is written by a different author. At the end of the book, it lists them and their other works, kind of like a playbill, and these people all write erotica and porn. This was 100% porn.

I don't even read smut; romantasy, sure, but to skip a level and go to no plot having, aggressively detailed, literal porn flick just in subtitle form was beyond. I have no idea how I managed to read the whole thing.

For what I expect a book to be, this is an absolute miss. If I wanted to read short porn scenes with some XXX content that were pretty kinky with lots of group and BDSM themes, then it'd be a direct hit.

I will likely only purchase popular titles and read more than just backflaps on books in local bookstores from now on... I also think this will be pulled from my living room shelf and moved to the Adult Drawer where it belongs.

I'm not usually a fan of erotica, though I have my exceptions(I gave this a chance due to the fairy tale twists to the stories). I find it a not very well written genre and this book was a prime example of that. There is bad writing that you can get over and enjoy the trash (in a good way) and then there is describing a clitoris as a "love button".

Mostly silly, rarely fairly sexy stories mostly based on traditional fairy tales. Some major duds in here, but some good ones too, including the poker-themed 'All McQueen's Men', and some chuckles.

Funny how this was written by a bunch of authors and they all managed to write the exact shame shit porn.

To anyone reading this for smut, I promise you there is better. So much better.

Anything is better.
