This was soooo bad but so fun. Exactly what I expected and yet so much worse. It was so funny, cliche and cringy. Wow a hilarious 2 hours of my life. I got this book for free in one of those stuff your kindle days and the last few books I have read from those batches have been 5 stars so the laws of averages means I gotta read a real stinker soon to balance things out and I’m just glad this was a ridiculous knotting wolfshifter billionaire witch paranormal urban fantasy stinker lol

I am always interested to see the lore different authors incorporate in the shifter-verse. Ms. Shelton gives us a vibrant and sensuous story with an engaging and likable couple. The story picks up where the prequel, Jagger: The Awakening left off. After a ten-year forced separation, Jagger stumbles over his fated mate at one of his clubs. His love and dedication are instantly ignited, and he is determined to fight against the odds in order to reunite with his one true love. Sage is slower to accept the rightness of this coupling; she is engaged to Rupert from another coven and fears the fallout of such a union. But soon Sage comes to understand that their love is inevitable and destined. However, they face considerable opposition from his pack and her coven. These obstacles are faced with dignity and their extraordinary love prevails. The book ends on an ecstatic note but lurking in the shadows is a dark presence. Could Rupert be planning some revenge tactic? I have read many stories from the shifter-verse and this one has one of the more unique concepts. I totally enjoyed this story and eagerly await the next installment!

They met 10 yrs ago and they instantly knew they were fated mates. Once their parents found out her mom put a spell on them where their memories would erase. A week before her wedding they decided to go to the club that's where her Mate H(Jagger) caught whiff of her and pretty much kidnapped her. This is a very interesting story full of twists. I really enjoyed it.

Great read

So pleased you have introduced a heroine of colour who can look after herself and her Alpha wolf.. From the start we are plunged into the world of a troubled Alpha billionaire - Jagger !! I
He needs to find his mate when They is when the troubles begin!!
A really exciting and romantic story with an Alpha who finds his long lost love; one whom he had forgotten!! Great read!

The story was a great concept; however, the writing felt immature and unpolished. Some editing would have really helped. The characters needed more depth, and the quick forgiveness that occurred several time between the main characters and those that opposed them felt unrealistic.

This story started in Jagger the Awakening novella in the Lunar collection where we found our alpha male wolf and the high witch meeting for the first time.
Jagger is the alpha male, the leader of the Billionaire Miami Wolf Pack. He’s had his mate’s scent with him his whole life, and just when he found her their memories were wiped clean, lost until they meet again ten years later. Sage Waters is the next in line to be the High Witch and she has no memories of Jagger. She keeps having these erotic dreams of a silver white wolf who comes to claim her, but it’s not possible she a witch. She’s been engaged for several years and now she’s about to be married to Rupert Ravenheart, another high witch from a convent to the north, a man who inspires no passion, no spark in her soul. Will she spurn him for Jagger and his passion? I love it when Jagger finally finds Sage, their chemistry is instant, and her scent is intoxicating, and neither can resist the inevitable or will she resist or let him claim her? I just wanted to mention this is about Dylan the Rogue and not Jagger the Temptation
There was no good read entry for Dylan and I wanted to make sure the book got counted towards my goal and so I chose the first book in the series to count towards it

I didn't really care for the story of Dylan the Rogue. The writing style was not something I enjoyed. I was rolling my eyes at how ridiculous everything was. The story line itself was not bad but there was no connection with the characters or any character growth.
She was alpha and him an omega yet she bowed to him.. which made no sense. She also kept calling him alpha, but she had the alpha wolf. Idk that part confused me.

The actual writing seemed immature. I rolled my eyes a lot at some of their interactions. It was cheesy. This was my first read with knotting in the sex scenes and that was definitely interesting.
Their first time together kinda didn't make sense. But then again - he did seem like a controlling asshole type - so maybe it did. She was a virgin and he just slammed right into her. Like - yeah that would hurt - and she would not be happy about that. at all.

Idk it just wasn't for me. Its hard for me to find a good shifter book that I think it written well.
So it could just be me.

Jagger and Sage met 10 years earlier and instantly knew they were fated mates but their families stepped in and erased their memories so they forgot all about each other. Now 10 years later Sage goes into a club a few days before she is to be married to someone she doesn't love and Jagger smells her. He does something he never thought he would do, he kidnaps her and tries to get her to remember him.

Jagger remembers her and has to try and get her to remember him too. It takes a little time and she is falling for him all over again but their families try to step in and keep them apart, again. Sage is a powerful witch and this time she isn't going to let her or his family keep them apart. I really liked these two once they figured out what was going on and who was trying to keep them apart. There's a bit of a twist as to who is trying to keep them apart and why and I really liked that.

These two might come from completely opposite backgrounds but it looks like wolves and witches should be able to mate without there being these big problems now.

The brand name dropping drove me insane. Then there was the description of their heated desire that didn’t quite hit the mark for me.

There was little character development and the whole story was very much tell rather than show. I know that Jagger tipped anyone that came near him a hundred dollars but is that caring for his pack? I know that Sage clearly didn’t want to marry as she put off the wedding twice but her wishes weren’t important despite her being High Witch. With Sage being described as wobbling around in sky high heels she didn’t seem that powerful at all so when we are told she did an amazing magical feat it doesn’t matter much.

Also the description of the sexy stuff was a bit gross ‘A damn flagpole stands tall. One I ache to climb and ride’ ewww. But at least I know the brand of his socks - Pantherella.

Family kept them apart for 10 years, will Jagger & Sage finally get their chance?

5 stars. Excellent from start to finish. The storyline and plot for Jagger & Sage captures your attention from the 1st line to the last line. The dynamic between the wolves & the witches is what makes for a great reader experience. If you love a great shifter romance that has plenty of steam, drama & tension then I highly recommend this book as you won't be disappointed.
Will Jagger & Sage get their HEA or will family tear them apart?
My first time reading this author & I look forward to reading more.

This author brand name drops more than the average influencer and it started to feel tacky as the book moved on. “I can barely hear her cries over the sounds of my munching.” If I never hear oral sex described like that again-it’ll be too soon. This seems like the kind of book a man would write if you told him to sit down and write smut for women. Jagger is salivating at her d cups, looking at her from behind his aviator shades, she’s purring and throbbing and undulating her hips. Sage calls his cock “ginormous” and just everything is over the top ridiculous. DNF at 43%

First time reading this author and I really enjoyed it. It was an easy read. Jagger the alpha of his wolves pack and Sage the High Witch of her coven. She is to be married to another witch from the northern coven arranged by her mother. 10 years ago Jagger and Sage met and realized they were fated mates. Her mother intervened by casting a spell for them not to remember each other. They come together later in a club and he smells her scent on his friend and finds her to take her away so she will remember too. I loved how the author brings them together and how the pack and coven realizes this was destined to be.

Needed More Story

Jagger the Temptation, Billionaire Wolves series book 1 by Charmaine Louise Shelton features wolf shifters and witch covens. This series has potential. Unfortunately for every page of actual story there are three pages of sex. While most enjoy passion on their PNR books there is such a thing as to much. Hopefully as the series progresses this will be corrected. This is the reason for only 3 stars.

It takes a strong woman to mate with an Alpha male! I really enjoyed this paranormal series, I eagerly went from book 1-2 and raced through them. I like strong men who need a strong woman and good defeating evil. The parental resistance to them as a couple was rough but I liked the resolution. Lots of open door sex in case that's a good/bad for you. One negative for me that he has on page sexual interaction with others before committing to her.

I enjoyed reading this great read. I was my first of this author and I plan on reading other books. A few over used words - like fated mate. Long lost mates, kidnapping, conniving parents, erased memories, and intrigue make for an interesting read. Can a coven of witches and a wolf pack come together and support and learn from theses mates????

The book was decent there wasn’t a lot of substance and it main characters were washed out, there was a lot of plot holes and even though it portrays itself as a romantic novel it’s just a fuck feast. With none of the story. The side characters were decently described, the action was limited to one page.

I tried to like the book I really did I hate not finishing books but this one was just a no for me it’s like reading one of those pay as you go books with grammar errors and just overall weird stuff I love wolf shifter books but this one just nope I gave it a two to be generous but I wouldn’t recommend

This thing has everything I don't like about billionaire romances: name dropping, obsessed female, money flaunting, etc., paired with the things I hate in shifter romances: wolves as a separate entity, mysoginy, oversexed and oversexualized characters. And that is only at 7%. I'm not gonna like it, so I won't give any ratings.

Not sure I’ve ever seen a female umpire in baseball but I am here for it. I loved her no nonsense, refuse to balk by the rules attitude. The female lead is strong and revolute in a man’s world but has the softest side when it comes to kids. This book had me giggling along and glued to the pages. Beautiful story
