I believe this book was Donaly Brice's masters thesis. Fascinating story though. I think it was the Council House Fight in San Antonio (c. 1840) that came first. The subject of this book was the Comanche response to that fight, then came the Battle of Plum Creek which was the anglo-settler response to the Comanche response to the Council House Fight.
