This book helps me understand the global appeal of work that comes from Art Center and RISD - it’s all conceptual and of high art. I come from DAAP, which is highly practical as far as how I see the role of industrial design in industry - we design products to be made on an industrial scale. This book is exactly about objects to be made as precious objects of high value, or Art.
