Kids will enjoy seeing their favorite characters in an all new VeggieTale that helps them to remember that God made everyone special. When eight year old Prince Junior is suddenly anointed King, he realizes the entire kingdom is filled with very grumpy veggies―except for one. Larry the Lamp-Lighter is cheerful, polite, and full of encouragement. But how can this young king help his entire kingdom to face each day with a cheerful heart? King Junior decides that people must learn to use the gifts God has given them to help rid their lives of grumpiness―so he challenges them with solving a riddle and demands that everyone present their solution at a royal banquet. But this makes the people even grumpier―until Larry the Lamp-Lighter helps everyone realize how God made them special. This beautifully illustrated book will help kids discover that God has blessed everyone in a special way as it encourages us to use those gifts to serve others. Big Idea Sunday morning values, Saturday morning fun! Through imaginative and innovative products, Zonderkidz is feeding young souls.

This book is about a king who becomes sad because he can’t do what he likes to do, because it isn’t cool anymore. So he makes his kingdom sad as well. Larry the cucumber comes in and encourages the people to share their talents so that they can make the town happy again.
This book was great. It is an excellent book about how to be happy when you are sad. It also teaches how to magnify your talents to bless other people’s lives. It has great pictures that are bright, detailed, and full of life.
I would read this book to my children because they would be able to learn how to be positive, even when they are sad. They would learn that everyone has a special talent that God has given to them. And that they need to practice that talent so they can bless the lives of others.
