I listened via audiobook and the audio was absolute trash. The storyline was ok and was moderately interesting. But not enough that I'd like to continue the series.
Not great. Repetitive lines and attempted twists make all the characters look/sound really dumb. I don’t mind books without steam but this book lacked romance. Characters repeat lines back to back. I won’t try #2.
I wish I could take stars away from other ratings with how bad this was. Listening to this was like choosing to tie yourself to railroad tracks and after getting run over by the train, just when the sweet release of death is within your grasp, you instead hear Olivia (Synthesized Voice) make the most inhuman sound you've ever heard and you're laughing so hard you keep going just to get hit by a second train. Rinse, repeat. Negative 85 stars to negate all of the 5 star reviews that are lying to you all
If you must consume this "book" please listen to the audiobook. At least laughing at how awful the narration is will balance out the lack of structure and plot that this has. Think if you put My Immortal and every other bad fanfic you know of into an AI and asked it to write you a YA Werewolf Book. You're welcome, you've read the book now
Storyline could have been ok if not for the automated voice in the audio version which reminded me of a previous book and since my memory is ridiculous I checked and yup, it was the same author.
Spoilers ahead, though I doubt you will think anything I say is real because truly how did someone read this book and think “yes this is good” and this is the edited copy, a publisher read it. What in gods name compelled this author to write this and what demon possessed publisher thought it was good. I believe anyone who had the displeasure of reading this deserves financial compensation. I listen to it on audio with a friend and god did it make me want to die, the person reading it was clearly AI and would have these possessed sounding ribbit in the middle of a sentence. The plot of this book, where, I can’t find it, nothing made sense. Who is the alpha she is bound to, we will never know cuz the guy she’s with isn’t one. Our characters her are Kiara ( the main character) Troy is the bully who is actually in love with her, Cole is the mate (not an alpha) and Cathrine ( a psycho ). Nothing about them makes sense, this can’t be real. Also where are the adults, why are these teens in a club, have access to drugs, ride motorcycles without hands or helmets and run out of school, WHERE ARE THE TEACHERS AND PARENTS. Cole was the only sensible person here, and by that I mean he’s the only one who has a real thought process. Truly I feel so bad for him, Kiara continues to walk out on him over and over again, and he still forgave her, that’s his only mistake. I do believe that most of the issues in this book could be solved if we acted like wolves (because we are) and eat people. Also what happens to Troy in the end, we pushed him off the cliff and took his money but after that there is not mention of him. What is happening. I can’t cope, this put me back in therapy, and I was on 2018 tumbler and 2020 mha x reader wattpad . I can’t cope

I was really going to try and tough it out just to see the full story, but I cannot get past the AI narrator for the audiobook having zero intonation or emotion of the voice AND the random like quacks/burps mid-reading??? What on earth is going on with the audio of this book?????
To mimic other reviewers, too, this just has very lackluster writing; duplicative sentences back to back, simple descriptions (if any), and poor characterization. I don't even think 15 year old me would have found this interesting.
Listen to this book on audio, and to be honest with you, it was beyond cringe. The audio sounded like it was read by an AI, so the words were not correct, and then the whininess, and overall inconsistence of dialogue between the characters which just excruciating to get through the title is called bound to Alpha, but at no point does it even discuss the alpha she’s supposedly bound to, not a very good read.
I didn’t realize a book could be so poorly written. I am sad to have to write this review, but this is one of the worst plot and character developments I’ve ever read, and I have read an innumerable amount of books over my lifetime. Thankfully, not all of her writing is this low in caliber.
The audio version is read by a really bad automated voice that mispronounces rouge as the french word for red. It makes it really hard to judge the book on its own merits. Which don't have a lot of merit. The concept is not terrible but it could have benefited from an editor or at least a few more read throughs before it went to publication. Too much repetition.
I started this a couple weeks ago on audiobook let me just say this is the worst thing I have ever read and I read it as a joke with friends be warned if you listen to it on audiobook it make weird glitch sounds that 8/10 times sound like slurs also please take the fact the I read bakudeku fanfic on Wattpad in 2020 and those were better than this.
It's kind of boring, and there is a ridiculous amount of repetition. It's rather fast-paced, and I felt like so much, and nothing happened at the same time. It's probably someone's cup of tea but not mine.
Absolute 🚮 I hate to say it but the storyline is all over the place. Unfortunately I am listening to the audiobook and it is deeply horrendous. It’s suppose to be a human reading it (the author) but every word is monotone and robotic. I wasn’t aware humans could sound so robotic.
Grabbed this as a free borrow on hoopla. This had the ability to be a good storyline. The characters were rather repetitive, a lot of the same over and over. Not enjoyable enough to finish the series.
Honestly, I couldn't even finish it. I got about half way through but it was just BLAH! I didn't care about any of the characters and it just felt like a lot of teenage drama, though I assume they were adults.
Tiene demasiado potencial pero la historia está por todas partes, tiene demasiado factores increíbles que van tan rápido que terminas sintiendo el libro como meh.
I could not finish this book. It was very repetitive and just couldn’t get into it. Not every details on how she felt ect just felt very rushed a big disappointment.
