Plagued : The Sound of the Trumpets
Elise heard the sound of the trumpet and shivered in fear. What was going to happen next? She didn’t know how much more she could bear. She's lost everything so far. If only she would have listened to her family a long time ago, she would have known that God was real. Instead, she's forced to deal with the Plagues of the 7 trumpets and the three empty beds where her children lay only nights before. She felt grateful to have Will by her side, even though he was the reason she was still standing there.
With a little bit of teamwork, a lot of prayer, and a few homecooked meals, Elise tries to fight for her survival all the while being plagued by God's wrath. The hail and blood were one thing, the locusts, that was an entirely different story. Elise is strong-minded, but even she felt overwhelmed clinging for her life during these increasingly terrifying times. If only she would have listened…
