CROW

One minute I’m content just enjoying life with my club, running one of the businesses we own, and the next a woman sneaks her way under my skin for the first time in my life.

I never saw her coming.

Wild hair, almost black, and dark brown eyes star in my fantasies, but Paisley keeps herself out of reach. She’s shielded behind a solid brick wall that I want to knock down more than I’ve ever wanted anything. As I get to know her, my hero complex grows as fast as the chemistry burning between us. Maybe it’s just the former soldier and the sergeant at arms in me talking, but I want to protect her from both my past and whoever sent her running to Montana.

And I will protect her, because this woman is mine.

PAISLEY

Three months ago, I found out how much cruelty can flow through someone’s veins. My whole world collapsed, and suffocating fear for the most precious thing life has ever given me sent me running.

Now, Montana is my new home. For how long? Only time will tell.

But when fate puts a sturdy, intense biker in my path, everything changes. The connection between Seth and me is palpable, and it grows stronger every day that I get to know him. It lures us together despite my efforts to stay away. And clearly, I fail at staying away. Because soon, what scares me the most is no longer the dreadful ghost of my recent past.

Now, I’m terrified I’ll have to run away again and lose the man I’m falling in love with.

4.5 stars.
This was really light on the MC aspects.
They meet when Paisley comes in for a job interview at the construction company the Crow manages for his club.

This was a pretty sweet book.
I liked the characters we were introduced to along the way.
I loved how Crow interacts with his niece and Paisley’s daughter. So cute.

Their relationship had some sexy moments and some really sweet moments, though both of them were wary about getting close to the other, for completely different reasons.

I liked it.
It wasn’t a favorite.
(Honestly I had to go back and read the blurb to refresh my memory about what happened so I could write this review, so I’m probably missing things that I would’ve said about it had I written this immediately…oops🤷🏻‍♀️🫣😂)
I had a pretty good time though. And maybe when the next book in the series releases, I’ll check it out.

Paisley thought she had found the love of her life only to be betrayed in a way that she never expected. She flees and lands in Montana looking for a job, knowing she may need to run again if need be. She ends up getting a job working for Crow at his MC's shop.

Crow is determined to make Paisley his, he finds out she is a single mom and knows she is harboring secrets. Crow plans to find out everything about her and protect her when danger shows up. Can Crow convince Paisley he is worth her trust.

I really enjoyed this one, definitely going to follow the series. Paisley is wonderful and with Crow the couple are delightful. Great story.

The writing was good. There was a few things with the pacing and some not so logical plot points.

The biggest reason for 3 stars (3.5 rounded down) is Crow is without a doubt attracted drawn to the h right away when he meets her. Later that night he hooks up with OW and below if a little blurb.

“I close my eyes to try to focus, a face pops up in my mind and my cock hardens on the spot. That is concerning. The long hair as dark as the eyes looking straight at me and the plump, reddish lips spreading into a shy smile shouldn’t be anywhere near my mind at this exact moment, but there’s nothing I can do to push the….”

So basically, while this OW is on her knees he is not really into it until he starts thinking of the h. He does nothing to stop it and actually thinks that. So no not cheating but if you are trying to setup the H as a good decent person you don’t have him fuck OW after meeting h and definitely not while he is thinking of her. No person deserves to be disrespected and have their partner thinking of someone else even if it’s a ONS. There was also no talk of STD testing. So he has this strange woman who he literally walked up to took her to his room. She gives him a blowjob that you can get a STD from and days later he’s making out with h and then fucking her. Condom or not they are not foolproof and the timeframe between hookup in h no testing. So I for one think that a guy that can use another woman’s image to get off when with another is not a decent person. He risked her health moving on to sex with the h so quickly.

Also, the h was deceived by her daughter’s father and never thought to ask questions about safety. She got pregnant with using BC but now it’s like no thought in her brain.

I read a book recently where H and h met two years prior instant attraction but a misunderstanding has the H acting like a jerk BUT at one point in his POV he thinks how he has not had sex with anyone since meeting the h because it did not feel right to go there with someone else when his mind was on the h. Now that’s a decent person. The H here was sort of implied not a complete manwhore but the whole start did not setup a good base for rooting for them after that.

Can’t do it. I managed page 246 out of 316. Boring!

I really really wanted to like this book, as I’ve been searching for a new Mc series. This isn’t it, sadly. When the author says it’s not a dark Mc, what that means is, it’s not an Mc! They’re hardly in the clubhouse, they never seem to have church, Paisley calls Crow Seth right from the beginning, they’re like a fluffy bunny Mc. I think I’ve read one of this authors books before and I’m sure I thought the same thing then.

Paisley gets a job working for Seth at his building company, when she’s on the run from her ex and baby daddy. Not sure why the author felt like her baby was a big secret, but she hints at Madeleine for a while. Seth is immediately attracted to Paisley and when he finds out she’s in danger, he moves them into his house. Of course they fall madly in love, and the danger still hasn’t happened at page 246. The whole book is about them talking, meeting in cafes, playing with the baby, NOTHING HAPPENS! It’s so dull.

There are a few minor plot errors. At the beginning of the book Crow/Seth says he has brown hair. Then it’s black a few pages later and that’s why he’s called Crow. Paisley thinks her ex is a drug dealer at the beginning, really not sure why. As he’s an Mc member, Paisley wouldn’t call Crow ‘Seth’ until they’re together. There are a few more examples like this but you get the idea.

Could have been really good. 🥲

This is the first book in The Sinful Guardians MC series with sexy MC and the girl on the run who stole his heart but beware once you start you won’t stop until the last page has been turned 😊. Paisley is intelligent, has a newborn baby girl she is so in love with, a very sick ex. she is on the run from and landing in a small town that she feels at home. Crow sexy as all get out owner of the construction company she cleans, he wasn’t there the day she was hired but the moment he met this young woman he knows something is wrong, but the walls are firmly in place. The attraction is there the moment they meet and the magnetic pull grows stronger the more time they spend with each other but she can’t risk her heart or her little girl just in case her ex. shows up and she has to run again but realizing the more time she spends the harder it is for her to run but will he understand why she ran from the job of her dreams to do something way less, will he be there just in case her ex. shows up, will he, his brother protect her and can they find something they both weren’t looking for happiness?.

This is the 1st in a new MC series, and this is Crow and Paisley’s journey. Seth / Crow is the Sergeant-At- Arms of his MC, and from the moment he sees Paisley, he knows she is the one for him. Paisley is on the run from her ex with her new-born baby girl, and when fate destines her to settle in Montana she feels at home. Crow hires Paisley to work as a cleaner in one of the MC businesses. The chemistry between these two is sizzling and undeniable, and Crow will protect and keep her and the baby safe by any means. This is a well written story which has suspense, danger, intrigue, drama, loyalty, action, challenges, family, friendships, and love, which leads to a steamy and riveting page turner, which had me on tenterhooks throughout.

Crow/Seth, Paisley and Madeline

This was my first time reading this author and she did a fabulous job with this story. Crow needed a part time office cleaner and Paisley needed a part time job, and it worked out perfectly. One of the club members was supposedly caught with drugs and Crow found out that the prosecutor was the son of a man he testified against years earlier, and they knew he was trying to set the club guys up for anything he could get away with, but the guys had a better way to get him back. Paisley actually ran away from her ex boyfriend because of some incriminating papers she found, but eventually he found her, but the club had other plans for him. A few twist and turns throughout. Happy reading.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. Paisley is a young single mother on the run. She winds up in Montana cleaning for a business owned by the Sinful Guardians MC. Crow is their SOA and finds he has an instant attraction to her. Paisley is in survival mode and feels she cannot act on the chemistry between them. Their story has heartache, danger and enemies. It also has brotherhood, family, friendship, heat and finally love. He is their protector and they become his family.

An amazing start to this new series. The story draws you in and will hold your attention. The characters are engaging and enjoy evolving and getting their happy ever after. This is the story of Paisley and her daughter are on the run from her ex. She end up in a small town, feeling like home and looking for a job. She meets Crow and he hires her. Their journey is a slow burn and will keep you reading to see what will happen next. I am looking forward to read the next book.

Crow was not looking for a relationship but Paisley walks through the door looking for work. Crow knows she is hiding from an ex.
When Crow's past comes back to hurt him and his brothers Crow learns Paisley secret.

Amazing start to the The Sinful Guardians MC, first book is about Crow/Seth and Paisley and not to forget baby Madeleine. Interesting story, with several twist and turns that made me keep reading even when it was time to sleep. Great characters, a bit of action, MC family and sexy times

Similar to chaos Chased series

I didn't find much difference between the first book in this series and the Chaos Chaser books, except a different set of characters. I was disappointed as I expected something new and fresh.
