Warhead: Origins: A Scifi Haremlit Fantasy Series

Rate this book
Trial 999. Warhead. Day in and day out, I was reminded of what I was; a subject, a mere guinea pig to a bunch of insatiable lab tests. These scientists, they were trying to break me, recondition me, control me. I had no idea that my life would succumb to this, a mysterious phenomenon in need of experimentation. Because humans, they feared what they couldn’t understand, and I happened to be a powerhouse in my own right, a supernatural prodigy. But one day, after almost twenty years, I escaped, leaving nothing behind but ashes and acid rain.

Little did I know, I’d be reminded of that faithful night I’d left my constant nightmare…

The Awakening

Bio nukes fell from the sky with one goal in mind, to essentially turn everyone into super humans like me.

Turning innocent lives into a round of Russian roulette was the name of the game, where the aftermath left two sides of the same to become super villains or super heroes.

I choose the latter, but not by choice.

Either way, I had a binding contract with The Brother’s Code, a crime fighting organization where plain supes could train to become TBC Super Heroes.

Now I have to make things right, working with The Brother’s Code to stop this wave of super villains created by the same facility that turned my cells into biological warfare. A team of three girls and I would become super heroes, defying all odds to shut down Sigma-RE for good, just as long as we could find a way to work together.

Easier said than done…

Warhead is a full length scifi haremlit fantasy with strong language, graphic steamy scenes, and unconventional romance including one male and multiple female partners. Yanderes, tsunderes, Marvel undertones, and crazy mad scientists.

Congrats to the Editor

The only reason it’s not a one star review is because whatever editor went through this book made it readable. There’s so much going on with ever single character except the main character. This reads like a high level dnd run with each character having 35 abilities and no issues other than personality ones. If the author did something with that sure that’d be cool, but all it ever does is lead to aggravating dialogue. Also the main character would be a snooze feast if he wasn’t so poorly written. Instead he’s annoyingly almost a soft boy who the author keeps writing as a tough guy. He fights, looses, needs protection, then saves the one who saved him. If it was written as it they teammates working together it’d be interesting, but they never work together for more than a partial scene. This book is super rushed and never explains the setting, story, and the main character has poor motivation. Not worth the time.

Decent story except major timeline issues and MC power is lame

The story would have been better is Liam's power was more like Captain Atomic or Dr. Manhattan, or even Firestorm. Going nuclear would only kill everyone for hundreds of miles. They pretty much showed on the heroes tv show what a real power that would be.

Secondly the time line is crap. The evil speedster said it was four days after the awakening. Then how was Liam tortured for twenty years if the awakened by was four days after? How could the hero groups be so well set up if it t was only a week after the awakening? How is Rachel pregnant with Liam's baby if it's twenty years later since they had sex? Serious issues with this story!!!

A couple good points, but a lot more bad

Okay. First the good. Good grammar and spelling... That's it.
The characters are one dimensional and I can't bring myself to care about any of them. They also all seem to suffer from terminal stupidity.
The worst part of this book is the HUGE, gaping plot holes, of which their are many! The main one being the fact that not one single character ever questions anything that happens to them after the attack that gives them all super powers.

Well... There IS one other good thing I can say about the book: The book has a fantastic bit of cover art. It is Spot On for one of the main characters.

I don't know

Think of every cliché thing an allie and a supposed boss of a superhero group can do wrong to break your trust is in here. That's what bothered me the most. Especially since the MC didn't do squat. Same thing for Rachel you cannot be that ignorant(Thing of other words since Amazon censors everything now a days)

Okay, at best. Meh, at worst.

This book wasn't bad. It just was very cliche heavy and had a rather tepid ending. It's worth the read, but you might want to wait for the next one, just because the ending just happens.

Okay, trying to follow how his DNA can create so varied amount of supes! He just solidified his family group, be interesting how dessi melds and explains his memory loss. What is the timeline? Just a week?
