When college student Andrew gets a call from his grandpa he fears that the old man is sick or worse. When he meets him he finds that one of Grandpa's best friends has died suddenly and his grandfather and his other two best friends want Andrew to go on their annual trip to Canada to take the deceased friend's place.
Andrew isn't sure going to Canada with three mid-seventy men is something he really wants to do but agrees to go along. The trip is more fun than he thought it would be and then the old guys and the owner of the fly-in lodge who has been friends with the old guys take a trip to a secret lake.... and vanish.
Andrew and his new friend Miles, the bush pilot, now have to search thousands of miles of Canadian wilderness to try to find them.
