What happens when writers from Harley Quinn the TV show and Harley Quinn: The Animated Series: The Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour the comic book get together and swap stories from New Gotham? Absolute mayhem, that’s what! Follow what happened to some of your favorite Gotham sidekicks on Tawny Young’s new trash-tastic daytime talk show and watch the chairs fly as they spill the tea! Guest-starring Clayface, Batgirl, Frank the Plant, and Harley Quinn’s worst sidekick…The Joker!
A decent one-shot for fans of the very fun adult-animated DC series. Not sure if I was expected to read the Eat Bang Kill comic first. Some of the shorts in this anthology are better than others, but it's a bit tricky to translate that sense of humor onto the page. The art is good, and the stories utilize the universe's mythos well. Just note: The stars aren't Harley and Ivy but rather supporting characters like Batgirl and Clayface and Joker and Dr Psycho (and Vixen for some reason)
It didn't really worked for me, I don't care enough for the side characters to follow them on adventures of their own. I also found some of the stories to be quiet a stretch, though it shouldn't stop you to go check it on your own. However, I loved the first story with Vixen and Elle, going on a double date with Harlivy! The pacig was fun, the story simple but efficient, truly nice to read, they bring fun and casual but meaningful representations in a refreshing way.
A high three stars. While I enjoyed the stories for the most part, I have no idea where Clayface's Las Vegas tour came from nor do I have any interest in reading it if it's indeed canon. The idea of him having a daughter, along with his hand-child, could've been intriguing had it not been wrapped up in a weird celebrity-bender-kidnapping-performance tale. Doctor Psycho's tale was equally odd and violent, and rather heavy-handed in the familial theme, but I do enjoy King Shark. Two Jokers...I don't even know what to say. Are they supposed to be alternative versions of himself?
Favorites were the Harlivy double date and, surprisingly, Batgirl, even if her coding final was a bit ridiculous. Commissioner Gordon on ClipClop was perfect. And I enjoyed the overarching Tawny narration, even though I'm wondering how she got all of that footage... Waynetech drones?

Cute! Not as good as the Eat Bang Kill tour but I'd be very down for my comics set in the HQ animated series universe. I really love the characters, they need to bring Vixen and her girlfriend into the show!
3 stars. The only story I didn’t like was the Batgirl one. The art style was off putting and the plot wasn’t that interesting. Everything else was fun though. My favorites were the first one which was about Mari aka Vixen and her girlfriend Elle. Mari and Elle double dating with Harley and Pamela and then kicking ass together was so worth my time and I wish it had been longer. Also the one with Doctor Psycho, his son, The Joker, and Shark was pretty interesting as well. The entire thing that ties all of these stories together is that all the character’s guest star on Tawny’s talk show which was fun. Tawny is such a fun and hilarious character. Overall, this was super entertaining and I had a good time reading it.
I really love the pacing of the Harley Quinn Animated Series comics, and have been hooked on Tee Franklin's writing style since the Eat Bang Kill tour. This comic was a bunch of short stories about the sidekicks from the show. Really loved getting all the little side stories and extra back story on some characters. I really wish there had been a side story for King Shark, it felt like he was the only one who didn't get a special spotlight. But this definitely left me wanting more! Can't wait until the next volume comes out!
This one shot was way better then I thought it was gonna be! I liked the series that came before this but I wasn’t sure how much of that you needed to know to read this and honestly, so long as you have seen the show, you’re good. This touches on the events in the last season just a little bit. I really liked the stories and the art was good. Honestly might be great for someone who is a fan of the show and doesn’t usually read comics.
I found this anthology one shot pretty funny and a nice shift in perspective to the side characters! We still get a nice taste of Harlivy but it’s refreshing and pretty nicely written! It’s written as stories with the characters coming on to talk on Tawny’s new show inbetween. If you like Harley Quinn TAS and crave more content from the universe, I suggest you check it out!
Fun thing to get into during the hiatus between seasons. Double Date stands out (can they please add Vixen and Elle to the show already...) to me for personal reasons, but the rest of the stories are cute as well, the characters are true to their TV originals, and the whacky style and humor is consistent throughout the entire special.
This takes place at least after the episode "Joker: The Killing Vote." Kind of a mixed bag of stories. I kept forgetting the characters were telling their stories on a TV show. Some of the art wasn't for me, especially not in the Batgirl story.
Pretty good really enjoyed the side part about the joker that was super funny. Not enough Harley and Pam wish there was a little but more with them. All in all I did enjoy it.
