This book is an interesting read. I found it all very interesting and it's my first book Partha Mazumdar. He has a way of telling a story that makes you want to read on. The book that I will suggest to you folks today is an exceptionally captivating and extremely fascinating book. The substance of this book will make you fall head over heels for this book. The book Living Dreams by Partha Mazumdar is an assortment of two brief tales about dreams, "The Golden Key" and "The Spice Connect", and the title Dreams that make us live on past life is the plot. Every story is separated into five parts and recounts the narrative of two distinct individuals, Eventually, you'll understand that the accounts are interconnected. Close to home foundation makes the story more special. The portrayal might have been more than whatever it is, by the by, it's fine as the characters are from everyday life. The creator had set the whole story in two distinct nations. The story is rotated around two heroes Nandini and Suniti. Where Nandini, moves to an outside country, for work. She had a place in Kolkata from an exceptionally customary family. She was a cutting-edge vocation-situated lady who found love in unfamiliarity however her reality flipped around when she caught wind of her mom dying. She finds her mom's fantasy and tracks down another all-consuming purpose. It was fascinating to peruse how she defeat each obstacle. This was my fav story among the two. While the subsequent story is about a lady Suniti, who got hitched to a conventional family in Delhi, life became tedious and her fantasy and objective take a secondary lounge, however, her significant other gets another open door in Melbourne. Will, presently she has the option to carry that fantasy to reality? Both the tales are charming, and there are a lot of adorable minutes that will give tears of pleasure. A propelling, profound and sweet story. Should peruse.
Overall, THIS IS A MUST-READ. Written cautiously, this book is something that will be a joy to peruse, and I prescribe you to peruse it. This book is certainly worth the buy and worth the read. Go For It Guys, and grab your copy now from amazon
How important are your dreams to you❓What about your parents dream/s❓Do you own a #dreamcatcher ❓
What a beautiful, emotional connect the author made with me, as a reader through his story Spice Connect.. i could relate with Nandini at so many levels.. trying to find a hob in the same city.. pressure of not having a relation/ marriage out- of- cast & then reliving her mother's dream & how! What a beautiful story & an even fabulous ending! I loved Robin & his parents so much for being "human". I wish more (Indian) Males were like these fictional characters. Human, positive, loving, caring and imperfect & humble. I also admired her mother's character, how she lived a bit for her own self without breaking societal norms & Nandini's father for supporting, if not fully, atleast to some extent, his wife's endeavours. This short story is definitely worth a read & needs to be gifted to more people to get inspired & be more "human".
The second story was like a mini, time lapse memoir of nanaji who explains the 4 golden rules of life through his real life stories. Death is a truth no one can evade but we can surely live the life we have, fully. True love & partnership were well depicted here. I wish more elders thought about giving freedom to children who are matching towards adulthood by backing them with a strong foundation. To know about the stories & the 4 life lessons, do pick up this inspiring debut. ___ LIVING DREAMS by Partha Mazumdar

Can the woman who dared to dream big now dare to hope for its fruition?
The Golden Key and The Spice Connect are two short tales included in the anthology Living Dreams.
Nandini, a young woman from a traditional household in Kolkata who appears in "Spice Connect," migrates to Australia in search of employment. Before her world is turned upside down by her mother's sad death, new romance blossoms, her career takes off, and life is exhilarating. Nandini's life is given a new direction as she unintentionally learns about her basic mother's hidden goal. She sets out to overcome all obstacles and realize her mother's ambition under the guidance of none other than her loving mother.
The Golden Key tells the tale of Suniti, a determined and ambitious lady who marries a prominent Old Delhi household. Life grows dull with time, and Suniti's dream is put on hold. Living with an honest, underpaid, overworked husband entails a lot of responsibilities. The family relocates to Australia after her husband accepts a new position in Melbourne—ironically as a result of his candor, which she had grown to dislike. Their joy, however, is short-lived when Suniti learns she has a major desire that hasn't been realized and not much time left.
Because there is always something to take away from each of the two short stories, they occupy a particular place in my heart. I am unable to pick a favorite because the two of them are equally excellent for this reason.
Regarding the language, it is clear and understandable for all types of readers. While writing this collection, the author kept everything in mind, which helped to make it excellent. It is incredibly captivating and fascinating. Everything about it was beautiful. This novel contains a lot of different aspects, so many that one might assume they would all clash, but the author skilfully weaves them together such that everything harmonizes. Overall, an excellent sincere emotional novel is advised for anyone who wishes to read while sipping hot coffee this winter.
Living Dreams is a collection of 2 stories, "The spice Connect" & "The Golden Key" and each one is described under 5 chapters, they are story of 2 different people but at last you'll gotta know it is interlinked somewhere.

The book contains two short stories about dreams. "The Golden Key" and "The Spice Connect." Each story is divided into five chapters and tells the story of two individuals. In the end, you'll realise that the stories are interconnected.
The theme of the story is love, family, ideologies, principles, and desires.
Nandini, a young, contemporary, career-oriented girl out of a traditional nuclear family in Kolkata, relocates to Australia for work in "Spice Connect." A new relationship blossoms, her career takes off, and everything is exciting until her mom's horrific death turns her entire world upside down. Nandini's life takes on new meaning after she unexpectedly discovers her mom's secret wish. She sets out, guided by her mother, to overcome all obstacles and realise her mom's dream.
Suniti, a strong, audacious woman, marries into a traditional nuclear family in Old Delhi in "The Golden Key." Life becomes boring and repetitive over time, and Suniti's dream took a backseat. Life with a workaholic, honest, and poorly paid partner becomes a challenge. The family relocates to Australia after her husband accepts a new job in Melbourne. Their joy is short-lived, however, as Suniti realises she has limited time left and a big fantasy that remains unaccomplished. Fantastic storyline and content. The book taught us to pursue our dreams right now. I would recommend it to beginners because the language is clear.
This is a contemporary fiction with an interesting blend of different emotions in it. The book focuses on the lead characters who are women. Both the characters are kind of similar to eachother as both had to shift to a new and different country but for different reasons. Being a woman with not so easy life and yet having the desire to fulfill their dreams is something that definitely inspires the readers so this was indeed a treat to read. The plot takes the reader on a rollercoaster of emotions and feelings as we get to know about the life of these two protagonists. The author has written down the book with very interesting plotline and amazing set of characters and scenarios. The narration of the book is kept smooth and easy so that the readers are able to enjoy the spirit of the book. Each character shines throughout the book as the author has well potraited each and every character. Plus each had their own story to tell and it was put together well in synchronised manner. The book is being layered nicely with the situation and incidents that were quite interesting to read. The characters in the plot kept me hooked till the end. Each has been given sufficient scope to contribute to the plot. The language used is lucid. It is definitely a good read for all the readers.
Living dreams is a book which has two stories, the spice connects and the golden key.
The Spice connect is the book, where the protagonist, Nandini, moves to a foreign country, for work. She belonged to Kolkata from a very traditional family. She was a modern career-oriented woman who found love in foreign but her world turned upside down when she heard about her mother passing away. She discovers her mother's dream and found a new life goal. It was interesting to read how she overcome every hurdle. This was my fav story among the two.
Whereas the second story is about a woman Suniti, who got married to a traditional family in Delhi, life became monotonous and her dream and goal take a back seat, but her husband gets a new opportunity in Melbourne. Will, now she be able to bring that dream to a reality?
Overall I loved the writing style, it was simple and heart-touching. I am not usually a fan of short stories but I guess this book was an exception, overall recommended to people who wants to sip Chai/Coffee during this monsoon season and have a good heartfelt emotional book to read.
Often we have heard and seen people telling us how we should go after the things which we love and to never give up on what we want to do.
But then, life happens and soon we find ourselves losing focus and getting swept into another mundane things that seemingly push our dreams into backseat.
In the book, ‘Living Dreams’ by Partha Mazumdar, the author, via the way of our two main protagonists, Nandini and Suniti has narrated a tale which will make us ponder on our own life choices and reflect on the decisions that we have taken.
Both the two female leads have their own separate stories and their unique set of struggles which they face to reach to their end goal, yet there is this common factor of belief which they boast that binds them together.
In real life, there is no such thing as magic, and our dreams don’t come to fruition merely by wishing, but rather it takes a lot of determination, sweat and hard work to make them a reality.
Nandini and Suniti were the characters who teach us how rather than waiting for something to happen, we should start where we stand and work towards getting to our dreams, hence I am going to give this FIVE STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I loved the descriptions in the story they allow you to paint a vivid picture of the scene in your mind. Play of words is nice and playful , overall tone of the story is light not heavy. The book weaves the story artistically, even though the plot is predictable the storyline keeps you hooked . The characterisation is apt and let’s you connect with them . The story tugs at your emotions on various levels. Language is lucid and easy and flows beautifully at no point do you get stuck on. 4/5
This is a very interesting book so much so that I found myself reading into the night! I loved how I was hooked from the initial chapters itself, rest assured I will definitely be reading more from the author!
The book is mainly about dreams and the book has a few branches of stories which divides itself into five chapters each to best intrigue the reader. Also the additional POV is very good and helpful to readers, what starts as two different stories collide into one and made me so glad I read this book! Our protagonists are Nandini and Sunitini, though their stories are different they interlink with the focal theme Dreams! The story has many sub concepts too but the concept of Dreams is always thrust at the forefront, the book is clear cut in its plot and the plot progression is impressive!
The book is well written, the language is lucid, the characters are relatable and solid, the plot is wholesome and the themes are well defined. Overall a book I definitely recommend to all readers.
Dreams are what we are made of, but it takes pure grit to make them materialise. In a similar situation we find our protagonists in the book "Living Dreams". Partha Mazumdar (@partha.muzumdar.31) paints this story with two contrasting personalities which have exchanged their corresponding surroundings. While Nandini , who hails from a conservative family is all set to relocate from Kolkata to Australia only to realize her late mother's ambition might be her own, we have Suniti on the other hand who has put her career on a back burner while being married into a conservative family. But things flip again when her husband is offered a job in Melbourne. Will the characters meet ? What change would they bring about in each other's lives? Overall this book has shown different sides of a woman, and the way characters have developed is something you should be hopeful for. I appreciate the subtle inter-connection author has made between the two plot lines. All in all , a read clearly worth your time!
It takes a lot of courage and dedication to become a writer for the first time. Here, I must say, your passionate persistence, your hard work, your devotion and your everlasting belief in a dream is clearly visible in your writings.
I liked the book as it captivates you till the end with its amazing content and writing style. As the title suggests, the author talks about the importance and the purpose of dream. We all live with a dream. But what if you are not chasing your dreams to make it come true?
The book guides you to chase your dreams with all your efforts to fulfill them. Every dream has a purpose and whenever your dreams are fulfilled, your life is filled with new energy and positivity. On the contrary, if your dream is not fulfilled, then it becomes a purpose for you to work harder and harder. Eventually, you will succeed.
You have to dream before your dreams can come true - A.P.J Abdul Kalam
I must say that the way the author wrote the story is excellent. When you will start to read it, you'll find two stories. Two different stories of two different protagonists, Nandini and Suniti. But what is the plot twist? Both stories are interconnected. Nandini, from Kolkata, started her career journey in Australia and also found love. But things fall apart when her mother's horrific and unexpected death occurred. But Nandini goes on, removing the obstacles and fulfilling her mother's secret wish. On the other hand, Suniti, from Old Delhi, relocates to Australia but not for her career, for her husband's career. But soon she realizes that she had left with limited time but great dreams. Will she be able to fulfill her dreams? And how her story interconnects with Nandini's? Read the book and find out the rest of the story.
If you love to read about women's empowerment and strong female protagonist, then this book is for you. Strongly recommended.
As the title suggests, the book is entirely focused on living and fulfilling dreams in the present moment.
The book is divided into two short stories, "The Spice Connect" and "The Golden Key," each of which is divided into five chapters.
Both stories are interconnected and very well adapted to the current generation, and they deliver an appropriate message to the generation, which we as a generation lack in some way.
According to me, the author drew some of the moments or scenes from his own life, such as moving from India to Melbourne.
While reading the stories individually, I had not considered them to be someone's creativity; just imagine the author's creativity that as the storyline progressed, it gave me the impression of real-life incidents.
The book is fantastic, the vocabulary used is of medium difficulty, and the story's grip was fantastic on me, good for utilising time and drawing inspiration out.
“What’s the purpose of living if you don’t go after your dreams?” – Samson Reiny Living Dreams by Partha Mazumdar is a collection of two women-centric stories based on values, life choices, and dreams.
The first story, “The Spice Connect,” is a story of Nandini, a career-oriented girl who discovered her mother’s dream after her demise and decided to fulfill it.
The second story, “The Golden Key,” is about an ambitious woman Suniti, whose dream is set back after monotonous marriage. However, a piece of shocking news changed all things and geared her up to fulfill her big dream.
Though there are two different stories, both women are connected with the same emotions, love, struggle, and tragedy, and the same backdrop of beautiful Australia. I love the resilience to fulfill the dreams of both Nandini and Suniti conveyed through their journey and will motivate all the women out there.
Living Dreams is a collection of two short stories about life, love, hope, and dreams. The book is basically about how dreams can be achieved even after facing hardships and failures and heart breaks.
I liked the first story. It was so beautifully written with amazing narration and such a strong female protagonist. The plot is also so interesting and relatable. How Nandini overcame every hurdle in fulfilling her mother's dream is something to look out for.
The second story is about a woman's dream and how after marriage it took a backseat. It's about the ordeals she had to face in marriage. After a shift from old Delhi to Australia, will she be able to bring that dream to reality?
Read this book if you enjoy strong female protagonists and for inspiring stories of fulfilling their dreams even after all the hurdles and obstacles. Overall, a nice read.
Our life is meaningless without dreams. From a very young age, we dream of various things; it might be a job or passion we wish to pursue. Sometimes, our dreams push us to work hard, and sometimes someone else's dreams become dear to us. This book has two amazing stories about living your dreams. In the first story, Nandini, a girl with simple ambition and a regular life, finds a dream to live when she discovers a book in her mom's cupboard. What was the book and how it changed her life is interesting to read. In this story, I loved the Durga puja part the most. The other one starts with Yamini's birthday, her grandfather tells her the golden rules of life while recalling his beautiful life story and his wife, Suniti. Both the stories are adorable, and there are a lot of cute moments that will bring tears of joy. A motivating, emotional and sweet story. Must read.
In this book, the writer, through the method of our two principal heroes, Nandini and Suniti has portrayed a story which will cause us to contemplate on our own life decisions and ponder the choices that we have taken. The narratives are loaded up with a wide range of feelings from adoration, battle, bliss, and misfortune too presented. It was so perfectly composed with astounding portrayal and such a solid female hero. The plot is additionally so intriguing and interesting. How Nandini defeated each obstacle in satisfying her mom's fantasy is something to pay special attention to. It is very charming and captivating to figure out how they arrived at their fantasies and the significance of pursuing a fantasy. It gives a guide to make a solid effort to make progress and one day your fantasy will materialize. Simply experience your fantasy.
Living Dreams is a compilation of two stories that explores the idea of dreams that live on after death. As you read them, the characters vividly come to life. The stories are full of passion and tell the tale of a person's life journey. The plot and the writing style are completely under the author's creative control, despite the fact that this is his first novel. Real-world situations and environments serve as inspiration for the characters. The book advises readers on how to make every effort to achieve their goals. Every want serves a purpose, and when those desires are realised, your life is injected with new vitality and optimism. If, on the other side, your ambition is not realised, it might act as inspiration to strive harder in the future. You'll be successful in the end.

The language used is lucid. It is definitely a good read for all the readers.
Partha Mazumdar's book Living Dreams is a collection of two heartfelt stories, "The Golden Key" and "The Spice Connect," that follow two different female protagonists on their journey to pursue their dreams.
Both stories are so real that you believe they must be true rather than fiction. This book is the outcome of the author's imagination, the progeny of his thoughts. What could be more significant of an author's creative mind than his lovely creations in the form of heartfelt stories?
The writing is smooth and intense. Anyone can pick up this book and read it in one sitting because I doubt anyone will be able to put it down.
Everyone has dreams, but very few are audacious enough to bring them to life.
Living Dreams is the story of two women who fought tooth and nail to get what they wanted from life. As inspiring as it was, this book managed to touch my heart and make me weep at times. Candidly penned, this book made me feel like I was listening to a podcast by these women wherein they talked about how hard they strived to overcome everything that stood between them and their goals.
With a moral ingrained in every stroke of a letter that makes up this book, Living Dreams was a memorable read for me. Definitely recommended!

It often crazy how dreams can drive your entire existence. And some dreams are so powerful that they become so involved in that. Dream is the main plot of both the stories.
The story also talks about love, life, hope, values, beliefs. The characters are well portrayed.
Really liked the way author tells about getting closer and moving away from a dream using two characters from different backgrounds.
