WHEN FOREVER CHANGES (Forever Love Book 1)

#1 New Adult & College Romance bestseller and #21 in the entire store when originally released

Looking back, I should have seen the signs. Perhaps I did, but I subconsciously chose to ignore them.

From the time I was ten, when I first met Dylan, I knew he was my forever guy.

Dylan was more than just my best friend, my childhood sweetheart, my lover. He was my soul mate. We were carved from the same whole—destined to be together forever.

Until he changed.

And I believed I was no longer good enough.

Until he shattered me so completely, it felt like I ceased to exist.

And I’d never experienced such heart-crushing pain.

Until he leveled me a second time, and I truly wanted to die.

But I had to stay strong because I wasn’t alone in this cruel twist of fate.

I can’t help wondering if I had seen the signs earlier, if I’d pushed him, would it have been enough to save us?

Or had fate already decided to alter our forever?

For readers who enjoy friends-to-lovers, brother’s best friend, second chance, angsty new adult college romance. Some scenes may be triggering - please read the note at the start of the book.

NO FEELINGS INVOLVED (Forever Love Book 2)

Ryan James doesn’t believe in love.

It’s a truth he learned early in life.

He broke his golden rule one time, but Myndi trampled all over his heart, cementing his belief that love is a lie and not worth the effort.

Now he’s returned to his cynical views and promiscuous lifestyle, racking up more notches on his bedpost than he can count.

Until Summer Petersen comes crashing into his world, threatening to knock down his walls with her tempting body and sunny, sweet personality.

Summer is determined to lose her V-card before she starts freshman year of college, and the hot, older guy with the cute dimples, dazzling smile, and rippling biceps is just the man for the job. Ryan doesn’t take much persuading, and he rocks her world, giving her a night to remember.

When they walk away, there’s an agreement it was a one-time thing. Ryan doesn’t do feelings, and Summer doesn’t want to be tied down at eighteen.

But when she moves into her brother Austin’s apartment, she’s shocked to discover her new roomie is the guy who recently popped her cherry.

Ryan can’t believe he slept with Austin’s baby sister, and if he finds out, he’ll literally kill him. Keeping their hook up a secret is nonnegotiable. Keeping his thoughts, and his hands, off Summer, less so. Because the longer he’s around her, the more he finds himself catching feelings for the gorgeous brunette.

Summer doesn’t want to care for her older brother’s best friend, but Ryan makes her feel things she’s never felt before, and she’s slowly falling under his spell.

Embarking on an illicit affair behind Austin’s back has train wreck written all over it, but provided they keep their feelings in check, they can end this before he ever finds out.

It’s not like either of them is in love.

Right?

For readers who enjoy brother’s best friend/best friends’ little sister, age gap, second chance, forbidden, angsty new adult romance.

OH MY THROBBING HEART! The Forever Love duet is the very best of Siobhan Davis' emotively powerful, heart-hitting, angsty and consuming story telling. The drama, the anguish, the hope and healing- this duet packs a punch. Both stories are bittersweet and beautiful, heartbreaking and yet swoony, and so very complicated. Grab the tissues, open your heart, and discover the magic of Siobhan Davis.

When Forever Changes
Stories like this are the reason why Siobhan Davis is one of my favorite authors- an author so versatile that she can write all genres, all tropes, from gritty reverse harem and high drama mafia to the ultra angsty, heartaching, soul tearing love stories. And oh my is this the latter. When Forever Changes is a story that squeezes the heart so exquisitely, you may never breathe the same again. The anguish, the heartache, the swoon, the hope, and oh yes, some ugly crying- it’s a story beautiful in its turmoil, effortlessly emotive and entirely consuming.

I won’t say much about the plot because I don’t want to spoil anything, but hang on for a wildly emotional narrative. Second chances, best friends to lovers, love triangles, drama, past and present challenges- there’s so much complexity. Like love itself, Siobhan weaves a story that is full of contrasts. Beauty and pain, turmoil and authenticity, devastation and hope. Sioban chronicles the highs and lows of living and loving through these complicated by dynamic characters, who are also just learning to grow up, who are figuring out living and loving in so many heart-hurting ways. As usual, Siobhan captures our hearts with these characters, and with the right dash of foreshadowing and tonal foreboding we just know twists and heartaches are coming. And come they do. You’ll scream, you’ll cry, you’ll love and be frustrated by these characters in equal measure. But like always Siobhan’s creative brilliance brings us exactly where we were meant to be- each moment, each world, each feeling perfectly placed for just the right reason. But hold on to your hearts, this is NOT an easy love story- and one that had blasted tears running down my face multiple times before I turned the last page. And these characters, well each and everyone one will stay with you. Especially our heroine Gabby, my love for her lasted through every up and down, through all the mistakes, frustrations, and healing.

This story will break your heart- so may times. But trust in Siobhan to piece it back together in the end. The emotional gauntlet is worth every agonizing moment- because even with a fractured heart, love is what shines in the end.

Book 2: No Feelings Involved
This is one of my FAVORITES from Siobhan's more angsty fare both because I love the trope (angsty age gap) and because I really adore these characters. This features Gabby's brother, Ryan, in a best friend's sister story. AH, just delicious, and so many emotive layers to this story.

Ryan has some real relationship baggage, and his romantic life is even more complicated when he meets his roommate's little sister, who also happens to be his unforgettable one night stand. Cue all the forbidden and secret vibes that I LOVE in the best friend's brother trope, and I loved the dynamic of them having a bit of an age difference too.

I loved Summer. She's incredibly lovable- kind, hopeful, dependable, with a bit of spunk to her. She's a heroine you Really root for and connect with, and one of my favorites from Siobhan's very compelling list of heroines. Ryan on the other hand has a lot of growing to do- he's a bit bitter thanks to his past relationship failure, but I loved the way he awakens thanks to his connection with super. Together they have such a complex and engaging emotional connection, but they are also SO sexy together too. Plus, I loved getting to see the whole crew from the prior book.

All in all, such a delicious, angsty, and amazing read.

Siobhan Davis shines in this angsty, heartbreaking and gut punch of a duet!

In When Forever Changes Gabby’s thoughts of what her future would be like with the boy she loved is shattered. Dylan changes and breaks her heart into a million pieces. He was her first love, they were best friends turned lovers and he shattered all that love. Seemingly not caring that he threw away 9 years with the only girl that loved him and gave him all of herself.
Gabby turns to her brother’s best friend Slater, who has loved her from afar for many years. He is there for her and picks her broken pieces back up and slowly glues them back together.
This book squeezed my heart and I suggest having a box of tissues at hand.

In No Feelings Involved we have Ryan, Gabby’s older brother, that meets Summer in a bar. Summer is about to start college and she wants to get rid of that pesky v-card beforehand. That night in the bar she and Ryan hook up assuring each other that this was only a one night stand.
A week later Summer arrives at her brothers place to stay and finds Ryan is her brothers best friend and business partner. Oops. This book was tame compared to When Forever Changes but still kept me entertained. There is the age gap and brothers best friend taboo aspect that sucks you right into their story.

This was such an emotional duet but so worth the read! Siobhan is so good at wrecking your heart with her stories but she does come through with the salve for the soul by the end of each one.

This boxset includes two of my absolute favorite books from this author: When Forever Changes and No Feelings Involved. Both tug at your heart strings in epic ways, leaving you at times gasping through the pain with tears running down your cheeks, but at the end your heart is so happy and there's a matching smile on your face. There's a reason why Siobhan is one of my favorite one click authors, and this duet really showcases way!

In WFC, Gabby is at a crossroads with the future she thought she would have with the one that was always waiting for her. When her heartbreak makes her turn to her brothers best friend, Slater, she finds more happiness than she's ever known.. until fate lands a cruel trick in their laps. Will they be able to have their happy ever after? Or will they be tormented with what could have been?

In NFI, we get Ryan's story (Gabbys brother!) And this time he falls hard for someone completely forbidden and younger than himself, but Summer is such an excellent character. She's strong, smart, emotional and so darn kind and just the perfect half to Ryan.. even if he was a bonehead sometimes. I loved seeing even more of Gabby and her life, and I just know fans of this author will love this book too!!

ALL THE FEELS!!! This duet has two of Siobhan Davis best works that I’ve read these stories are prime examples of why she’s my favorite author. Where Forever Changes was gut wrenching heartbreakingly beautiful story I couldn’t breathe through half of it with all the tears I was shedding which is par the course of reading one of Mrs. Davis’s books the angst the heartache the emotions the tragedy and the healing at the end this story is one I will never forget and I have reread a few times already it’s actually one of my first stories I read from her and new I had found a special author when I read it . No Feelings Involved was another angsty emotional forbidden romance story that just brings out all the feels I really loved the characters in this one and I’m sure you will too it’s full of angst steam and a passionate love story that has you rooting for this couple from beginning till end . This is a phenomenal duet and one I highly recommend if you’re new to this author or if you’ve read her before either way don’t sleep on these stories!

I loved both of these books and definitely recommend this duet! Get ready for all the feels. <3

When Forever Changes

This book destroyed me. I had a feeling it would, but I could not put it down and stayed up until 3am finishing it. I alternated between streaming tears and full blown sobs during some parts. This was such an emotional roller coaster. What happens to one of the characters definitely hit home. I'm approaching a related anniversary, so I was feeling all the feels. But it was soooo good. Just heartbreaking and beautiful and devastating and full of hope. I'm so glad it ended the way it did. This one is definitely going to stick with me.

No Feelings Involved

Oh man. This book hit me right in the feels. I loved Ryan and Summer, and things were going well for them. Too well. It wouldn't be a Siobhan Davis book if it didn't devastate me. And that it did. I'm talking 1am sobbing uncontrollably. It doesn't matter what her books are about, there is always something that I can relate to. Honestly, they help me work through my issues. I really love how characters in her previous books are in this. We get to see where they are at now, and it's great to see them happy after all they have been through. Now I need to go process all this book brought up about my last relationship.

When Forever Changes:
Head my warning when I tell you to have tissues handle. The angst was intense!! Dylan and Gabby are childhood friends to lovers with a wonderfully planned future ahead of them. But, that fickle witch known as fate has other plans. The path this story took rocked me to core and had my mouth dropped! I never would’ve guessed where I’d end up. I was for sure a hot sobbing mess though. Siobhan Davis does not play when it came to gut punching me in the feels! This is a beautifully written heartbreaking and heartfelt second chance romance.

No Feelings Involved:
When I first picked up this book, I had very strong feelings on who I wanted it to be. But, the story I got was nothing like I expected. Brother’s best friend, a little age gap, Siobhan Davis was hitting all my kindle crack buttons with this one. I devoured Ryan and Summer’s story. It was delicious forbidden angst. Per usual, Siobhan Davis shock things up with the most unexpected jaw dropper and didn’t miss at hitting me with all the feels.

I love love that we get this great duet in one single book. We get two amazing stories full of emotions and wonderful characters. We get one fantastic complete book with both When Forever Changes and No Feelings Involved.

WHEN FOREVER CHANGES

Oh wow this book took me by surprise. It made me feel a little bit of everything. It had me laughing one minute and crying the next. It was emotional and it had me completely enthralled in every word. It had enough to keep you engaged from beginning til the very end. It has some very good twists and turns that will have you wondering what in the world happened with Gabby and who she ends up with. There so much going on you have to read for yourself to know will it be Dylan or will it be Slater. I loved everything about this story and I cannot recommend enough.

NO FEELINGS INVOLVED

I loved this story and loved Summer and Ryan. Ugh Ryan just breaks my heart, his past is absolutely heartbreaking. The chemistry between them both is fire. They meet and have a great explosive night together thinking they would never see each other again. Ryan’s roommate informs him that his younger sister will be staying with them and who walks in? None other than Summer the one woman who he had a fantastic night with. How will they live together can they even live together. Will they be able to keep their feeling quiet and how will Austin react when he finds out. You want to know you have to read it to find out. I highly recommend you

When Forever Changes: 5/5
Firstly, I want to warn you all that tears were involved. I highly recommend NOT reading this on a plane ride…next to a stranger (sorry sir!). Like everything I’ve every read by Siobhan Davis, When Forever Changes by Siobhan Davis is full of angst. But oh…the emotions. Siobhan Davis has this amazing way of reaching into you and squeezing your heart; no matter the circumstances I feel for the characters.

I don’t want to spoil anything for you, and any true description of the plot I could give would ruin it for you. Not knowing what will happen improves the reading experience in this case.

Just know that I ended up caring about each and every character; hero, heroine, side character, you name it. Once again Siobhan Davis knocks it out of the park. Definitely can’t wait for more from her!

No Feelings Involved: 5/5
No Feelings Involved was the kind of Siobhan Davis book that I long for. Just that perfect blend of emotions, angst, and sexy times.

Our Hero, Ryan, was featured in When Forever Changes as Gabby’s brother. He was dating someone else at that end of that book, so I fully expected him to have some baggage going into No Feelings Involved. Side note – you don’t need to read When Forever Changes before this, but it does give you some background information on the side characters.

Our Heroine, Summer, was the opposite. A new character, she brought so much life to this book. Really, Summer made this book. She knew what she wanted and was willing to go for it. Just a well written and strong character.

The chemistry between Ryan and Summer was electric, nearly tangible. Sometimes I wanted to smack some sense into their heads – but had to remind myself, these fictional characters need to learn from their mistakes and grow.

Another great read from Siobhan Davis. Be prepared for a full spectrum of emotions: happy, sad, joy, pain, relief – all the things we need in life.

I am voluntarily reviewing an advance complimentary copy of this book. The opinions expressed are my own and I have not been compensated for this review.

Siobhan Davis is the Queen of angsty, heartbreaking romance. Her stories will shred your heart to pieces and then she’ll slow stitch those pieces back together, and this duet is no different. Both of the stories in this duet will break you piece by piece and I LIVED FOR IT!!!!

When Forever Changes: This book cut deep. Gabby always thought that Dylan was her forever and when tragedy strikes what she thought was her forever was no more. I loved Gabby and Dylan together I thought they were amazing, and you could feel the chemistry. But Slater he owns my heart and soul. This man is what book boyfriends are made of and I just fell for him hard and fast. This book tore me apart but in the best ways.

No Feelings Involved: Ryan and Summer could not be any more perfect for each other. Ryan is Gabby’s brother from When Forever Changes I was intrigued by him from the start and couldn’t wait to see where his story took us, and I was not disappointed. Summer has decided she wants to lose her V-Card before she starts college and in walks Ryan. I loved the complexity of their relationship but also the ease with which they connected with each other. This story was heartwarming and addictive.

Siobhan has an amazing way of writing stories with intense self-discovery and growth amongst all her characters, it’s one of the things I love most about her writing and why she will always be a one-click author for me. This duet is definitely a must read!!

When Forever Changes

Oh this author… I swear she lives to make my heart hurt and to make me cry. This book shattered me, and I shouldn’t be surprised, but I am! But this… this was a twofer. I swear, I might could even say three peat. Because yep… I broke down three times.

Dylan broke me… I wanted to love him, but I spent most of this book mad at him. I was confused, and the cause didn’t even remotely come to me. Gabby & Dylan seemed so perfect, and yes I should’ve know. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Slater! He makes my heart beat weird. Ok. I know it’s this author. He was just so steady, and man were those scenes steamy.

Yes, I cried, but I knew that would happen. Each part built on these characters that had known each since childhood. They were friends. Some with really big hurtles when they were so young. Her parents are the parents every one should have. This book was full of angst & heartbreak. You need to read this!

No Feelings Involved

I loved Ryan & Summer’s story. Their families coming together truly heartwarming. I really like an angsty age gap romance.

Seeing Austin gets his girl too was cherry on the top. Summer seemed so much older that she was. She was perfect for Ryan. Seeing Ryan & Myndi mend their friendship was touching too.

Before you read this book, make sure you go to Costco or Sams to stock up on tissues. It is also probably a good idea to read this one away from other people unless you enjoy ugly crying in front of others.

Even though I cried so hard I couldn't finish eating my lunch after nearly choking on it, I absolutely loved this story. As always, Siobhan doesn't shy away from realistic situations, and this one is chock-full of them. I adored each character and hope to revisit them in future books (I won't say which, but we get to visit with another amazing couple in a previous book). Now that I am finished reading this beautiful story, I don't really know what to do with myself, so be prepared for a gnarly book hangover.

NFI

The drama was what had me staying up way too late last night and it was worth every moment! Once I made it to the epilogue, I congratulated myself on making it through this story without crying but then Siobhan had to throw something in the epilogue that got me good. She never fails to mix things up.

Do not pass this one up and definitely pick up When Forever Changes at the same time because there’s quite a bit of Gabby and Slater in this. I absolutely loved both and I know you will too!

When forever changes.
I was given an advance readers copy of this book and have decided to write a voluntary honest review. Siobhan has gone and done it again with another amazing book. I've been wanting to Read this book for a while now, and so glad I finally got the chance! I love Gabby, and truly feel for her. Dylan I have completely mix feelings about, at times wanted to hurt him but other times I just felt for him. But someone else won my heart in This book. And I won't more than that. I also can't wait to Read Ryan book!

No feelings Involved
I was given an advance readers copy of this book and have decided to write a voluntary honest review. God this one really hurt, I felt for Ryan in this one badly. But I fell for him in When forever changes. I. Also really loved Summer she's young and sweet. But she's also blunt says whatever on her mind without holding back I admire her for that. I also hurt for her too. Falling for your brothers best friend is not as easy as people think. The battles you have to fight, the people you may lose cause they don't approve. But in the end if love them you fight.

This box set includes two of my faves from Davis!

When forever changes floored me completely! This story will blow you away with its gut wrenching twists but you’ll be whole by the end. Go in knowing that love wins! In the end and through the pain love finds a way!!

No feelings involved though has always had my heart! This book was angsty, hotter then heck and I wanted more!! This story blew me away and by the end I was a sucker for our hero and heroine!!

Both books highlight the best and worst of love but that in the end life is much better when we can spend it with those we care about.

Wow what a page turner...

This book had me hooked, it had me happy, sad, crying, heartbroken and then happy again.. it made me smile at so many points throughout.

Such a well told POV.

When Forever Changes by Siobhan Davis is an angsty friends to lovers second change romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sarah Puckett and Wen Ross. This is the first book in the Forever Love series and can be read as a standalone.

I absolutely love Siobhan's books! This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster that I never wanted to get off. I would definitely recommend having a box of tissues handy. I don't want to give any spoilers away so I will leave it at that.

I can't wait to dive into the next book No Feeling Involved so I can get Ryan's story.

Sarah and Wen did an amazing job on the narration. They really brought this story to life. I could feel all the emotions that the characters were feeling. Absolutely Amazing!

I would recommend this book if you like new adult romances, friends to lovers romances, second change romances, angsty romances, or contemporary romances.

I absolutely love Siobhan's books! She does an amazing job pulling me into the book. I can't help becoming emotional involved with the characters. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Ryan and Summer. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Dash and Lia did an amazing job on the narration. They really brought this story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

This is a compendium of two books previously read, When Forever Changes, and No Feelings Involved. Here are my reviews:

When Forever Changes

There are two things guaranteed in a book written by Siobhan Davis: 1) you will get your heart wrecked by the heartfelt story and 2) you will get plot twists that will make your jaw drop. I have been following this author since the Kennedy Boys series, and I can see how she has evolved in her writing since then, and gotten much better on writing these wrenching scenes that will break you heart and leave you in tears. There were many scenes in this book that broke my heart, then put it back together again. Bravo, Siobhan!

Gabby and Dylan have been childhood sweethearts, yes, as you read it. They have loved each other since they were ten years old, first as best friends, then as lovers, and at the height of their sophomore year at University of Delaware, they have been together for 9 years already. They have their forever planned, until Dylan broke Gabby’s heart, not one time, but two times.

Slater has been Gabby’s brother’s best friend, since childhood too. He didn’t have a father, only his widowed mother, who worked so hard to give him the things he needed. He also had Gabby’s family as his second parents and siblings. When he lost his mother to cancer, they were there and they adopted him into their family and gave him much needed support. When Gabby had her heart broken, no one was more front and center helping her than Slater, who has loved her from afar as many years as Dylan did.

Now Gabby has to think about the future, about Slater, about moving on from Dylan’s betrayals. She is trying to look into the future with another chance, new hope, new plans. Until one day, as Gabby and Slater were strolling around the University, they happened into a situation that turned everything upside down, sideways, and their world was torn apart.

This book had such incredible characters and the writing was so tight, it flowed so good. The pace was wonderful. There is relentless drama, heartbreak, redemption, loss and compassion. Gabby really shone as a kind, selfless, forthright and generous woman, who did the right thing even though it cost her a lot. Devin was initially a jerk, then he turned saint. Slater was a gentleman, a good friend, a real man who did what had to be done no matter the pain it caused. There were so many moments of people doing the right thing, or the wrong thing for the right reasons, of family unity and support, that the book wrecks your heart but also makes it joyful. It was truly a pleasure to read this gem, one of this author’s best books.

No Feelings Involved

When I was reading this book, I couldn’t believe this was a Siobhan Davis book. Where’s my drama and plot twists? This book was a straightforward sweet love story with two fabulous characters. There’s some drama and angst but nowhere near to what this author has spoiled me with. Nevertheless, it was a fast read and very entertaining too!

Summer was determined to lose her V-card before starting university at UD. She arrives in town, goes to a bar with her bestie Hannah and Hannah’s boyfriend Jordan, and proceeds to look for a victim (ahem, a hook-up). She finds this gorgeous guy, they hook up, make clear this is a one-time event, and proceed to knock each other’s socks off.

One week later, Summer appears at her brother’s apartment to stay with him until she finds a dorm room, and hey presto! Austin’s roommate and business partner is none other than the one-night stand/hookup/owner of Summer’s V-card. What made this mix up believable is that she knows him as Ryan but her brother calls him James, as in he’s Ryan James. Now they have to co-exist in a very uncomfortable status. Summer has three older brothers and they are fanatically protective of their little sister, so if Austin knows what happened between them, it would be instant murder.

What transpires is a story that starts in unrequited lust, goes into constant arousal, turns into a secret they have to keep from their families. Both Summer and Ryan try to move on and date other people, but the appeal has gone, since the one they want is the one next to them in the apartment.

The plot-line stays linear, all about Summer and Ryan and how they move on from their initial hookup to roommates. I found Ryan to be very honorable and Summer very mature. Even though Ryan was older by eight years, Summer’s maturity and self-assurance make them match very well. The hindrance is in Ryan’s attitude towards relationships and marriage and eternal love. As in, he doesn’t believe in them.

There’s an itty-bitty plot twist towards the end that adds some spice towards the story. Some parts were a bit cheesy, like when they cuddle the nieces or nephews, but the overall sense is of a sweet and delightful, and surprisingly light-hearted story with a touch of angst.

♥️ WHEN FOREVER CHANGES

When Forever Changes is Siobhan Davis’ next angsty and emotional read. I have read almost all of Siobhan’s books and have loved them all but this one is my new favorite!! I wrote so many notes while reading but I won’t be using any of them. I do not want to spoil the story. The synopsis is perfection.

Gabby found her forever when she was only ten years old. Their lives were planned out. Their love epic. He was her everything and she was his. Then things changed. He changed. She didn’t know what was happening to the boy she fell in love with. He was crushing her. Over and over. She didn’t know what to do with this. Everything was changing so rapidly. Will their love survive or will the fairytale end? She knew deep down love was still there but was it enough?

Ok. That’s all I can really say and I know it wasn’t much. I will say that it was one of the most emotional reads I have read this year. I cried so hard. I also felt angry. I wanted to throw my iPad. I wanted to slap some characters. I wanted to hug some too. I was all of the place with this one and I loved it. My heart was in it from the very beginning until the very end.

Overall...it was an emotional rollercoaster that gave me every last feel. I laughed. I swooned. I cried. I flushed. I cringed. It was everything I never expected. I knew Siobhan would get me angst but damn...the emotional toll was not what I totally expected.

P.S Enjoy my tears, Siobhan.

Quotes:

“You deserve the world, Dimples, and I intend to give it to you.”

“Oh, honey, don’t waste your time trying to figure out the inner workings of the male brain. You’ll just give yourself a headache.”

“It’s amazing what one can accomplish with the right motivation,” I joke.

♥️ NO FEELINGS INVOLVED

No Feelings Involved is Siobhan’s next standalone novel. If you read When Forever Changes then you might remember Gabby’s brother, Ryan. This is his story!! I liked him in her book and totally fell for him in his. I actually didn’t even read the synopsis but when I saw his name in the book I was so excited. I always read the synopsis before I write my review so no spoilers this one explains a lot so I will make this quick. No promises though.

Summer doesn’t want to start college as a virgin. She doesn’t want to lose it to some frat boy who doesn’t know what he is doing on a drunken night out. She also doesn’t want to be tied down so she is on the hunt for an older experienced man who will make her first time a night to remember then walk away. She found just the man. Ryan. Just Ryan. He checked off all her boxes. Hot, older, sweet, and wants just one night. And oh what a night it was...

Ryan didn’t see her coming. His new roommate. His best friend and business partner’s little sister. Summer. He was fucked. It’s been a month since he was with her. He hasn’t even been with anyone since then. He never thought he would see her again. And now, she was living in the room next to his? Yep. Fucked. Fucked because he wants her again. And again. Too bad she was off-limits.

Summer wants to have the college experience. Frat parties. One night stands. Even stressful exams. She always wants Ryan James. Can she have it both ways? Can they have an exclusive friends with benefits deal until it feels too much? Ryan doesn’t believe in love and she isn’t ready for it. It’s a win-win, right?

I loved this book! Siobhan always brings the drama! The perfect amount of it. It’s not too much to drive me crazy. It’s just enough to keep the pages turning. I loved the characters too. Summer is blunt, sassy, beautiful, and sweet. Ryan is swoony, funny, and a little broken.

Overall...I couldn’t put it down! It gave me all the feels. In Siobhan fashion...the twists. It was also great catching up with previous characters.

Quotes:

“I have a pretty spectacular ass,” Summer says, wiggling her butt and winking. “I’d stare at my butt too, if it was possible.”

“Is this your girlfriend?” Myndi asks, her tone hopeful as she pins Summer with an eager smile.
“She’s mine,” Billy cuts in, strolling into the room like he owns it.

“The ball’s in your court, Ryan. But plan your move carefully, because the next move is your last one.”

When Forever Changes:
When I began reading this story I thought I knew how it was going to end but there were so many twists and turns that had me wondering what the hell was happening to the perfect couple. Just as it started to straighten out, it threw another curve ball my way. So listen when I say, don't think you know what is going to happen because it will not be what you think.
Gabby has loved Dylan since she was 10 years old and their future is all mapped out. That is until the day it all falls apart. Gabby isn't sure what to do now but she knows she needs to be strong and independent because she needs to take care of herself.
Slater is Gabby's brother's best friend and he has loved Gabby for as long as he can remember but she belongs to Dylan. So Slater does the next best thing, he becomes her best friend too.
As Gabby moves past the hurt and pain of lost love, Slater is there to let her lean on him. While Dylan moves on, he doesn't seem like the same person.
Can Gabby learn to love again and move past the hurt Dylan caused? Will Slater tell Gabby the truth about his feeling? Will Dylan tell Gabby about his future? And what happens when everyone learns Gabby's secret?
I loved everything about this story, even the pain, and laughter it caused. You can't help but love Gabby, Dylan, and Slater. What a heartbreaking and HEA love story. I hope there will be a story for Myndi, Gabby's BFF, I would love to know what really happened with Ryan.
So if you love a story with all the pain, heartbreak, heartache, family, love, and laughter, then this story is for you. I hope you love it as much as I did.

No Feelings Involved:
I like a story that starts out with a bang and turns into a love to last through the rough times. And Siobhan Davis has done it with this one.
Summer is on a mission to lose her V-card before she goes off to college and she is fine with a one-night stand. She just has one stipulation. The man has to be older and knows what he is doing. While at a bar with her BFF and the BFF's boyfriend, she spots a man that has his eyes on her. And the sparks are enough to set the place on fire. She knows this might be the man she is looking for.
Ryan doesn't do the girlfriend thing, so when he sees the sexy girl dancing and she is eying him like he is eying her, he thinks this night might turn out great. He feels the sparks too but doesn't think anything about them other than the night will be explosive. And it is for them both.
When Ryan gets back home, his roommate tells him that his little sister will be staying with them until a dorm room opens up and Ryan is OK with that. Until he meets the little sister and she turns out to be the woman that he spent the best night f his life with. Summer can't believe that Ryan is her brother's roommate. What is she going to do? She can't live with them and does not want to sleep with Ryan, the feelings are so strong.
Can they sneak around and not get caught? What happens if her brother finds out? Is there a chance of a future for Summer and Ryan?
I loved this story and loved Summer and Ryan, but Ryan's past was so heartbreaking. If you haven't read anything from this author, start with this one or pick another. It doesn't matter, you will enjoy the stories, I promise.

An amazing whirlwind of emotions you’ll never forget

When Forever Changes - Heartbreakingly unforgettable
I am wrecked! This book destroyed me in the best way possible! Another phenomenal read by the Queen of Angst Siobhan Davis. I must say that I was reluctant at first to read this book because in my mind I had a very specific idea of where the plot was heading – and I was not in the mood for something like that – but it turned out to be so, so far off what I had in mind that I am so glad and then some that I gave it chance. Now I wonder why I even doubt it (or Siobhan Davis – she never disappoints). I LOVED it even though I had gone through a whole pack of Kleenex – it was SO worth it…

Gabby, Dylan, Slater….And fate….What a roller-coaster! An emotional carnage of the best kind! I am not sure what can I write about the plot that won’t be a dead giveaway – so I won’t. As I mentioned earlier – it was SO not what I thought it would be. Maybe it’s best to dive in blind in this one. Know only that the emotional factor is off the charts. You will experience all the emotions – from despair to joy, with everything in between. The dynamic is completely different among the trio – Gabby and Dylan and Gabby and Slater. And although I was reluctantly rooted for one of the two, I can confess that the other – amidst the times I wanted to slap him – stole a huge piece of my heart. It was not really a love triangle – for those of you, as myself, who hate those – not in a typical way anyway. So give it a shot, because it will definitely surprise you.

No Feelings Involved - An amazing emotional read
I can’t express how much I love Siobhan Davis. This book just cemented why she is – to me – one of the best writers out there. I loved Ryan and Summer and their way to happily ever after. It was not easy. It was an emotional road for both of them – especially for Ryan – in order to discover themselves and decipher and confront their emotions toward one another. I loved reading about their journey to happiness and although I wanted to smack them on the head sometimes, I understood fully where they came from and why they acted the way they did.

It was definitely a lighter read than When Forever Changes (Ryan was a secondary character there and one of my favorites, I might add), but it too made me go through all the range of emotions – it was amazing. Highly recommended.

All in all this Duet was a great 5 star read for me. If you know Siobhan Davis, you know that she always delivers well developed, highly emotional stories with unique and interesting characters, so you won’t want to miss this one. If you are new to her, don’t hesitate to dive in – it is worth it.

Final Score - 5 Stars!

When Forever Changes - When I first read this nearly 3 years ago, I enjoyed this book but I felt something was off. I couldn't quite figure out my thoughts and feelings, which is probably why I didn't leave an in depth review at the time. Wow! What a topic/subject to take on. I was crying throughout this read. So much so, it brought on a headache.

Well, fast forward - it’s 3 years later and I've not only re-read this book but now have a different prospective on it. I loved it! I love the dynamic between Gabby and Slate - I didn't however like her relationship with Dylan, at first. But then they grew on my as well. And then - I was torn. Who should she choose? Who should she end up? This was hard and such a tough read to get through, but it so worth reading. This book will break you down, face yourself (past, present, future) and leave you with such good feels.

Thank you for the chance to re-read this Ms. Davis and for finally being able to put my thoughts together to leave a review.

No Feelings Involved - I didn't realize that No Feelings Involved is part of an interconnect series, yet is a complete standalone from the series. Characters from the other book do appear in this one, however, if you didn't read it - you won't necessarily mess a beat. That's what I love about Siobhan Davis' style of storytelling. Having read the previous book in the series, it was nice to revisit these old characters and see where in there lives they are at in this story.

This book is light-hearted and romantic with a dash of drama laced in. There's definitely no element of suspense here (as with the Kennedy Boys series), which is a welcome break. I loved Summer's character and could identify with her wanting to break free from not only her family but society's and morality's restraints on women and their sexuality. She's a strong, independent, intelligent young woman with a positive outlook on life and a great head on her shoulder.

Siobhan Davis has become my go-to author after I was introduce to her Kennedy Boys series and I have practically read every book she has released since. I am invigorated with this new interconnected series of standalones and can't wait to see where here next adventure takes us.

All Siobhan Davis books should come wrapped in caution tape saying "Beware of angsty words coming to destroy your heart." Forever Love was no exception. This duet was full of heart wrecking, gut wrenching and soul shaking feels. Intense characters. Raw emotions. Unforgettable chemistry. Everything that makes every Siobhan Davis book an epic experience.

The first book is When Forever Changes that tells story of Gabby,Dylan and Slater. Gabby and Dylan have been together since childhood but in college, drama and tragedies strike leaving Gabby brokenhearted. Her brother's best friend Slater gives her courage to fall in love again. But just when she thinks she can be happy leaving behind darkness, the epic twist forces her to change everything.
.
This love triangle was a hard hitting one. Gabby is sweet, kind, compassionate and unbelievably strong. Life tested her so much and she kept on fighting. Two men who love her in their own possessive, caring and all consuming ways. And the path was not easy. She was incredibly lucky to find two great loves but the cost was too high sometimes. This story was hard hitting with deep feels, angsty beauty and soulful ending.

The second story is No Feelings Involved. This is story of Gabby's brother Ryan and his best Friend's sister Summer. We are going into angsty age gap territory now. Ryan has sworn off relationship after his college sweetheart Myndi left him devastated. His world comes to a stop when his best friend aka business partner aka roommate Austin introduces him to Austin's sister Summer who is the one night stand he has not been able to forget. Summer is off limits but she wants more.
.
I absolutely loved Summer. She is mature beyond her age. She has an optimistic wise level headed attitude that is admirable. She is sassy but sweet. Ryan is a mess emotionally. He has this jaded feeling about love and commitment but Summer makes him feel everything he has been hiding from. But it is evident that he is obsessed with Summer. It just took a while to make him admit it. Their chemistry is on fire and it was super hot. It was another heartaching read from Siobhan Davis.

This duet is absolutely amazing and one I couldn’t put down. They will both have your emotions all over the place.it’s definitely a must read duet and are both standalone stories that will stay with you for a long time.

When Forever Changes

This was one of them stories that will stay with you for a long time. We have childhood best friends who loved each other until one of them started to change. Facebook will grab a hold of your heart and twist it until you can't help but feel what these characters are feeling. Gabby and Dylan's story starts out like a fairy tail and things go until Dylan start to change. During this Gabby realizes she can't put up with it and it's totally heartbroken over everything but with the help of her family and her brothers close friend she is able to move on with her life but never fully losing her love for Dylan but does closer to her brother's friend and eventually they become a couple. There is a major twist in the story that may have you feeling like an understanding something more about Dylan but in the same time not understanding why you did some of the things you did but it will totally grab you and not let go. I don't want to go into too much detail but this is a story that you will totally want to not miss out on I personally enjoyed every minute of reading it.

No feelings Involved

This book is full of feelings you can't help but feel. These two characters think they can have a one night stand with no feelings and they do until Summer moves into her brother's house and sees who her new roommate will be. Ryan her one night stand. They both agree to keep that night to themselves because Summer's brother will kill them if he finds out what happened. Well staying away from each other is harder then they thought and boy do things get hot and steamy behind the brother's back. The only problem is their feelings grow more and more and before long they have a hard time hiding them. You honestly must read this story it was awesome as usual when it comes to Siobhan's books. This was definitely a great book and you won't be disappointed so go read it.

This is a must read Duet. This was a very emotional 5 star read.
My emotions all over the place, ugly cry and all.

Book 1: When Forever Changes
Gabby and Dylan are in a relationship, they were best friends from a young age which turned into love. Dylan has been Gabby’s forever man since they have been together. When Dylan starts to act strangely and has violent outbursts, things change for them. The straw breaks when she finds out about an incident with another woman. Gabby ends up moving in with her brother for a break, this is where things take a huge twist.

Little did I realize how everything would soon shatter, tearing my world apart.

We also meet Slater, who is Gabby’s brother's best friend. And a man who has also been in love with Gabby for many years. When Gabby moves in with them it gets harder for him to fight his feelings for her. Things get even more complicated and brings in even more drama and twists.

I can’t even begin to tell you anymore because I don’t want to ruin any of the story for you. There is so much more that will have your heart twisted and in tears one minute to wanting to tear out someones hair the next. How could this happen? And the HUGE twist that obliterated me in every way. I can’t even begin to imagine the strength that Gabby had to have and the support from her family.

I loved and hated Dylan and Slater had me completely. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story, I would love to see some of their stories.

Book 2: No Feelings Involved
LOVED this story also. We get Summer and Ryan’s story.
Ryan had a one night stand that he can’t stop thinking about. Let's say fate steps in and Ryan ends up seeing her again. But was shocked to find out who she was. There is an age gap as well. And of course things are not as easy as you would like them to be and I found myself ugly crying a few times. Will these two be able to make things work and get a HEA?
Siobhan Davis has done a great job with her writing and pulls you right in. Thank you for another great read.

A box set set that take you on e journey of different love stories as the James siblings struggle through heartache and love.

The first story is When Forever Comes, this is Gabby story and she really discovers who she is and the man she can't live with out. Gabby has two men in her life her best friend Dylan and her brothers best friend Slater. Both men offer a comfort and stability Gabby needs. This is not a love triangle but a story of sacrifice. Ahh I cried so many times I had to stop, while the beginning had me a intrigued putting this in a new adult college aged book. It was so much more, the beginning only provided the context of what was need to build the story. I loved Gabby's sacrifice, she was young and naive doing everything she could for the men in her life. Dylan and Slater are two opposite hero's and while I wanted to root for one, I couldn't I wanted both to win.

The second story No Feelings Involved, is Gabby's brother story Ryan James. Ryan James is the resident playboy afraid of commitment but a complete gentlemen. Ryan best friend and work partner Austin sister Summer. I love a good age gap, brothers best friend and this ticked the boxes. Ryan and Summer are definitely on different paths and want different things but some how its works. Ryan had a side story in Gabby's book, while he was living his own life it sounded perfect. When Ryan story was told, everything added up he turned out to be struggling more than what I would have thought. Ryan and Summer were the fun couple, I laughed and cried in their story. I felt like a little fly in the wall reading their story unfold.

The box set provided a tear jerker and a contemporary romance to really help dive into both without feeling like you left the genre behind. Siobhan Davis knows how to write a tear jerker and add a climax without expecting it. Both stories flowed in timeline and questions!

Ill say.. Siobhan is amazing.. everything of hers that I have read.. I have devoured!! this book... THIS DUET... OMG!! I don't know where to start but to say.. grab a box or 3 of Kleenex and a case of wine.. because you WILL NEED IT!!

Gabby and Dylan have been apart of each others lives since forever.. and Gabby has loved Dylan just as long.. but has never had the courage to tell him... until things finally worked out and Gabby and Dylan finally became.. FF things are great till they are not.. Dylan is changing.. doing things he would never do.. causing Gabby to leave.. Needing a new and fresh start, Gabby goes and stays with her brother for a while.. in doing this.. it brings Gabby back to Slater.. her brothers best friend.. and someone who has loved Gabby for as long as he has know her..

I am telling you.. this book has has me in knots.. so be prepared... its a emotional rollercoaster..

No Feelings Involved..
Siobhan Davis has done it again.. another masterpiece.. Siobhan is one of my most GO TO authors.. I have not read anything of hers that I have not loved. This is a brothers best friend / friends to lovers..

Summer is finally headed off to College.. but there is just one thing she does not want to take with her (the big ol V Card)... but the question is who is going to take it? No one better then her brothers best friend.. the playboy.. the ones who does not do relationships.. so no strings.. no feelings.. right?? But what happens when said one night hook up.. V card taker is now your roomate? Will the one night.. no feelings.. no strings.. stay just that or will it become so much more?

No Feelings Involved was a amazing book.. I read this in one sitting..

I absolutely loved this boxset! The characters in both books fought hard for love and easily captured my heart.

💗When Forever Changes-
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…Siobhan writes the most angsty love with a dash of heartbreak and pain! This book had my emotions all over the place. You can feel all the love, heartbreak, pain, and sadness these characters go through all before she stitches your heart back up with an HEA. The way she tells the story made me feel like I was there going through what the characters were going through, and I lost track of time immersed in their lives.

I truly believe that when fate gives us a soulmate, all others will dim in comparison, even if we don’t realize it at the time. AND things do happen for a reason. I definitely recommend this book and be prepared to fall in love with Gabby, Slater and Dylan. There’s so much more I want to say but I don’t want to give anything away. One-click, you’ll be glad you did.

💗No Feelings Involved-
Amazing! I was hooked from the beginning and couldn’t put the book down! I love that it’s an age gap and brothers best friend. I love the way these two jumped into a one night stand with no intention to ever see each other again. It never works out that way! As they realize who each other is, the story just gets much more secretive, hot and Ryan finds it even more difficult to fight his attraction to Summer while living together. The way these two come together, are secretive, fight their insecurities, and fears makes it so action packed and takes your emotions on a rollercoaster ride. I absolutely enjoyed their story, especially after Myndi broke his heart. I was hoping he’d get an hea, he deserved one!
