Appearances can be deceiving.

Riley struggles to keep balance in her busy life. Between working at Winter’s Attic and W&W Paranormal Investigation and managing her personal relationships, it’s hard. To make matters worse, a series of bad decisions push her friends to turn away from her.
What Riley really needs is a break. Instead, she stumbles upon an unexpected evil…
Someone is on a murder spree in New England. The victims have been tortured in unspeakable ways, their dead bodies left to rot in the woods.
As Riley uses her empath abilities to help Stella on her case, she realizes this new evil has shifted its focus on her and is set on stripping her of everything she has ever cared about.

This is the book number 3 and it does not disappoint! If you have not started the series… well you should. Amelia Cognet has the gift of given us the suspense until the very end. As all her books of the series, this book is also a page turner. I couldn’t put the book down ! My attention was kept for the entire book. I finished it the day I started it. I don’t want to give out any details, you have to read it. A LOT is happening in this book. You will get goosebumps but be also prepared to grab a box of tissue ! I am waiting for the book #4 impatiently. Amelia Cognet has a huge writing potential and I cannot wait to read her next stories ! Thank you for sharing your stories with us !

Tears, lots and lots of tears

If you been reading the series, You would probably be attached to the characters as much as I am... The characters go through so much this book. Their wounds feel like our wounds.
Their sorrow is our sorrow.
This was such a haunted rolled coaster ride that I'm glad to have the break until the next one comes out!! I look forward to the next adventure.

Anyone who’s read the Celeste series will love this book. It follows the same characters we love from the first books and takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions with some very intense scenes. I can’t recommend this one enough! It’s hard to pick a favorite book from this series but this one’s up there!

This is a devastating and unsettling continuation of the series. It's very well done for the character arc, but it's a rough roller coaster ride to be on. Some things you don't see coming as well. Eagerly awaiting to finish the series to see how it all ends.

Great read

This book saddens me but its still written very well . I got one more book left to read and I think there should be a stand alone story about stellas life with her sister, like the book about Jamie .

Great read!

Enjoyed this book so much. Loved all the characters. I giggled, I cried ( real tears!). When a book can make me cry, it's truly a winner in my book, pun intended.

Cognet....rip my effing heart out, why don't you?! There is a LOT going on and I'm still not sure (even after 10 days later) I'm still over WTF happened here! This is book #3 in the amazing Celeste series...and if you thought things were intense in the first two books...this doesn't even remotely compare. Brace yourself. I CRIED. A lot. Easily the most emotional of the series, and yet, I couldn't put it down! Cognet has this beautiful ability to capture your attention and keep it there until the book is done and you're sitting here going...what? I want more! So glad I had book 4 sent to me in an ARC that I have already started (and finished since). There may be more added to this review once I collect my thoughts, but this was a stunning addition to the Celeste series!

I've read this one right after the first two books of the series and really really loved it. The plot is awesome and the rhythm is still on and keeps you turning pages. The character development is perfect.
