#1 New York Times Bestselling Author of The Cellar and The Cabin. Romance and YA Thriller writer, boy mum, Tom Hardy enthusiast. Always buried in a book and a glass of wine.
If I could rate the twin negative stars I would. It has never taken me so long to finish a book, 375 pages of pure BS. I kept waiting for the redemption or the twist in the end but it was such a waste of time hearing how one twin ruined the other’s life. An absolute miserable book, the last I read from this author.
I only read the lake. & I was not impressed. I felt like I had to keep convincing myself to read, it just couldn’t grab my attention….and the ending? You’re kidding right…
i read the lake and i finished it in one day, i loved the writing, the story, and it was so easy to read. i have not had a book like this that pushes me to keep going and enjoying every second of it wondering what’s gonna happen next. there were so many small plot twists and i didn’t guess one of them. the only reason this book isn’t 5 ⭐️ is because i did not like kayla, she is the only character i didn’t like and she was just very selfish and not my fav, but go read this book, it gives off big summer mystery vibes, and has a small romance plot!!
