In the Stairwell.
Fantastic book. Luella is trying to surprise her friend by sneaking into her apartment curtesy of the fire escape. As she yells “Surprise!” she is tackled to the bed, but not by her friend. The man staring down at her is gorgeous. Grayson has no idea who this woman is or why she’s creeping around his place. After Luella explains that this is where her friend lived Grayson clears up the problem. He also texts her the new address and she exits the same way she came in, through the window. He sends a message later and asks her for coffee in the morning. They meet at the bakery and spend the time flirting ridiculously. Grayson invites Luella to a concert he put together and is nervous that she won’t show. He knows she’s there before he sees her and she is all smiles for him. They dance and come to the conclusion that neither wants to see the show. They go back to Grayson’s and have an amazing night but, when morning comes Luella is gone. Could he have been wrong about her? Was it just one night to her?.

This is the 3rd book of this series and is a standalone story that is part of Megan Wade's universe. In here we see flashes of other characters not only of this series but of other series too. This is the story of Luella. Luella have move out of town to pursue her career in a bigger city, where she will have more opportunities to find a job. While she was out her parents died in an accident and she finally have comeback to see what she going to do with her inheritance (I'm not sure if 2 years have already pass after her parents dead or that she leaved the town) She decides to visit her best friend and climb the window of her apartment and surprise instead of her friend she finds a guy sleeping.

Luella is dreading her trip to her hometown. She had left it to find a new life in the city. However 6 months ago her parents died unexpectedly in a car accident. Now she has to return home to tie up all the loose ends and decide what to do with her childhood home. The only good thing about this trip is being able to see her best friend again. She decides to bring back old times and play a prank on her friend. She sneaks up the fire escape and sneaks into her friends window. When she jumps onto the bed, she gets a big surprise. Her friend had recently sublet her apartment to Grayson and getting "attacked in bed has him forcibly flipping and pinning Luella down. Both of them are secretly pleased with the position. After some flirting Luella agrees to meet Grayson for a date the next day. Having Grayson around for a distraction makes everything easier for Luella. Maybe she won't leave town after all.

Luella has returned home to sort out her parent’s estate. She thinks she’s surprising her friend buy showing up unannounced but finds herself instead in the bedroom of a hunky guy. Grayson thinks he’s dreaming when I beautiful woman wakes him up in the middle of the night by yelling surprise. Even though their meeting is brief and embarrassing, the connection is real and the chemistry is hot. Luella is only home for a week but maybe Grayson can convince her to change her plans. An entertaining read with shenanigans and witty banter. Grayson and Luella have a great connection with lots in common and a sizzling chemistry. Great addition to this series. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is a funny story about a prank that goes wrong but also so, so, so right! It is fun, sweet, romantic, OTT, quirky, steamy smexy hot and very entertaining....just the right ingredients to make you laugh and swoon. This book is a definite RECOMMENDED READ!

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. Luella has a surprise planned for her best friend. She wants to change things up on an old routine after all these years. She and Grayson are definite surprises for each other. Their first meeting is awkward, embarrassing, funny and perfect for them. It is a fun story with a little heartache to go with the friendship, attraction and finally love. The sparks from the beginning followed them thru to the end.

Blankets and Laughter is the third book in the Happy Curves Series. It’s a funny story, that has sweet, quirky, and romantic parts to it. It’s a really great read.
Starts off with the heroine, Luella, doing a prank on her best friend. But said best friend doesn’t live at the apartment anymore. This is where she meets their hero, Grayson. The progression of their love store is short but sweet, with some funny moments in it.
It’s definitely a great read. Should read the whole series.

A cute romance story. Sweet and funny read! You can’t help but fall in love with Luella and Grayson’s characters. A delightful read from start to finish that has loads of laugh out moments. Luella though she was surprising her best friend but the jokes on her when she gets Grayson instead. What happens next was an adorable story with likable characters and a sweet storyline.

Book 3 of Happy Curves Is a super cute story. Luella thought she was surprising her best friend when she climbed in the window. Turned out what she got was Grayson. Instant chemistry. Now Luella just needs to decide if she’s staying or going back to the city. Grayson hopes she’s staying. A quick and easy read. A cute storyline and lovable characters. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

Luella comes back to her hometown to finish business with her parents estate since theu died. She decides ro surprise her best friends by sneaking in her window instead of calling her. The surprise was on her as her best friend did not live there anymore but had moved. In her place was a gorgeous man that took her breath away. Climbing through windows, who knew?
I really really loved reading cute story about Luella and Grayson. I am saddened that Luella lost her parents, we take life for granted, you really don't know when will be the last time to will see your loved ones until tragedy happens. I know about lost, it's devastating. I am glad they found each other, fate brought them together, climbing and windows involved. Now married with baby in the way, her and his parents would so proud.
I really really loved reading cute story about Luella and Grayson. This story is absolutely precious. It's got some wildly farfetched lines but hey, it's what we signed up for lol. I loved the humor of this story. We get a hint the friendships our MC'S have with their friends and the community and a quick instalove story that had me grinning from ear to ear the whole time. Another great Megan Wade read!

That’s certainly a different meet-cute. Grayson and Luella have definite chemistry from the very unexpected beginning. Fast fun, flirty, sexy, sweet and steamy. Plenty of fun moments leading to a wonderful HEA.

Short and sweet, hot and dare I say…fun. As promised Megan Wade delivers on her sugar promise with Grayson and Luella’s story. As short as the story may be, it went above and beyond on delivery. I had all the feelings - I went from sad to reminiscing to giggling to feeling a little betrayed and then to straight up happy and the heat in this book is way up there. Wow just so good!

Well I love these characters and their qwerkiness. Who knew criminal acts could be considered the best decision ever made; well that is the case for Luella and Grayson. I love Luella's antics and how Grayson just goes with the flow.

Megan writes these happily ever after stories with realistic characters, not the Hollywood version but the real day to day, round the way girl. Her books are quick and easy to read. This one was funny, qoofy, and cute.
