Tale of rescues
This book is about Chris and Sara. He’s the local Fire Chief, and meets Sara at the Annual Children’s Charity Auction. He wasn’t enjoying himself until he came to her rescue from a drunk and handsy guest. He recognised her as someone who went to high school with hi, and she knew who he was straight away. They drank and danced the night away until she said she had to leave, as she had an early start for a brand new job the next day. They shared some very passionate kisses that had both of them wishing for more.
The next day as Chris went to the firehouse to welcome their new recruits, he had no idea who would be there. Sara’s first day as a firefighter was going to be tough. Despite being a legacy, just like Chris, she’d have to work extra hard to prove herself. She didn’t get off to a good start but Chris was supportive, which made thinking about her new boss in inappropriate ways was going to be very tough!
It’s a completely OTT story with some sweet, sad, cheesy and confronting moments. The main characters were likeable but a little clumsy in their interactions. Their brothers were almost the glue that held everything together. I give this book three and a half stars.

Very enjoyable start to a new series. Chris and Sara were a wonderful match. Chris is the captain at he fire department in the town he and Sara went to school at. Sara has returned and is determined to graduate the academy and become a fire fighter. She runs into Chris at a charity event to raise money when he rescues her from unwanted advances from another man. Chris and Sara spend the rest of the night drinking an dancing. They end up spending the night together and Sara leaves before dawn saying she has to be somewhere. She never said why she was in town and Chris discovers later in the day that she is a new recruit at the fire station. Because of work the two try to fight the growing feelings between them but eventually give in. I love how they seem to rescue one another from situations that arise. This was a steamy and passionate read. I can not wait for the next books in the series. Wonderful HEA.

Rescuing Me, book 1 of The Rescue series, is already a promising start for Ms Rose's new series. This is the thrilling story of Sara and Chris and their story is set in and around the fire service. Sara is a new one and Chris is her boss. In addition to the fires, the sparks also fly between them. Their journey is not always easy because in addition to the aspect that he is her boss, they also have to deal with the workload and the dangerous situations in which they find themselves. Despite their work and the chemistry and attraction, will they manage to be happy together or will fate decide otherwise? You will find that out when you read the book.

I actually liked the book for the most part. Sara and Chris were a cute couple, and I enjoyed reading about them. Their HEA was was pretty cute, too. It would have been a 4 star book for me, but I dropped it to 2 because of the unnecessary sadness of Sara having a brother that died. There was no reason to add that sad taint into the book. I don't invest my time and money into books to be depressed, I do it to relax and escape the sadness of real life. Honestly I'd love to see a future book where her brother actually survived and was found alive somewhere with amnesia or something. That would be a unique twist, instead of the cliché sad, dead sibling/spouse every single author goes with.

Chris comes from a legacy of firefighters and while at a charity event he sees a curvy lady in need of rescuing from a drunk admirer. Chris soon realizes that the lovely lady he has saved is a girl that he went to high school with. Sara can't believe her luck in being saved by the gorgeous Chris. The next day they realize that Sara is a probe under Chris's command and that if they want to continue seeing where their attraction leads there will have to be some changes. Sara has a major hurdle to overcome if she ever wants to become a full-fledged firefighter. Chris and Sara seem to take turns rescuing each other. Read to see if they will be able to make a future together in this intriguing story.

Really enjoyed this story. Chris happens to be the Fire Captain and she sees a woman at The Annual Children's Charity Action and when the man won't leave the woman alone he goes over to rescue her. When Chris gets a good look at the woman he know that she's Sara Jennings from high school. They reconnect and find that they have a lot in common. They start dating and things get hot pretty quick. I love how Chris rescued Sara and Sara rescued him from an unwanted girlfriend. Some adventure in the story but really cute and steamy. Great story.

Sara and Chris meet at a charity event and have an instant connection. They exchange numbers and make plans to get together soon. The next day when Sara reports to work its to find out that Chris is her boss. They get another person put in charge of her so it wouldn't affect them being together. Will their relationship cause problems with their careers?

This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. It's a book that any book lover would enjoy.

This is the first book in the series about firefighters and age gap romance.

Chris and Sara meet at a charity event, they make plans to go on a date the next day. However, when Sar turns up at her new job as a firefighter the next day, Chris just happens to be the Chief at the firestation. Chris arranges for Sara to have a new direct supervisor so they can date. But could one call out put their budding romance in danger.

I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it.

Will Sara & Chris be scorched by the flames?

I enjoyed this book. I loved it because you have a protective alpha hero, strong curvy heroine, lust & smoking hot firefighters which makes for a steamy read. Both Sara & Chris are firefighters-he a Captain & she a probe. With sparks flying between these two will giving in to temptation prove fatal to their careers or is there a chance at a HEA?
Looking forward to reading more.

An enjoyable, steamy story about Chris and Sara, she's just joined the fire department and he's her new boss but how can they ignore the sparks when they are close? The short answer is with difficulty. I loved their story, the characters are interesting and well-drawn. I love the heat too, but their workplace difficulties and the life-threatening situations they regularly face will either drive them apart or bring them closer together. Which will it be?

This book is a short and quick read about Sara and Chris. Sara is a new proby at the fire station and Chris is the chief. This is an insta romance. It has some hot and steamy scenes. The book just between first and third person and has lots of gaps in the timeline making some of it more challenging to read. There is no cliff hanger and it all finishes with a HEA in the one book which is a bonus.

This is the first book in The Rescue Series, fast-paced and quick to read. Plenty of chemistry between Chris and Sara when they first meet until they learn she is starting at the fire station. However Chris is determined to make the curvy beauty his and won't let work interfere with their new relationship.

Book one in the series and standalone.
Not so sure about whole book, storyline was good but execution kind of strange.
I’m confused with way the first responders acting, I have different feelings about that.
Age gap not too much noticeable.Romance part wasn’t too bad.
It’s short story.

This is number one of the Firefighter Series and it starts it off with a bang. A prominent family of Firefighters of five brothers and it starts with the oldest Chris. Sara is just starting her training. Short, a little steamy, HEA.
