A baby and a woman -- scared for their lives. A mountain man who will stop at nothing to protect them.
*found family *high heat *protector romance *small town feels *fierce loyalty
When Graham volunteers to help at the mudslide a few towns over, he never imagines finding Tallie.
She is a woman who lost everything, clinging to a baby, destitute by all accounts.
Graham and Tallie have an instant connection — but love is not so simple when you are trying to outrun your past, scared of an unknown future.
Can Tallie find a forever family in Home, WA, with the Roughs? Coming Home to the Mountain is a new filthy-sweet, high heat series by Frankie Love featuring rugged mountain men who fall hard, fast and forever. And with the women they love at their side, they choose to put family first.
In this series, Dad shows up. Sister’s remember to call, big brother’s always look out for you, and Mom knows to keep an extra seat at the table for Sunday dinner. Not every family is perfect — and the Rough family has its own set of problems — but at the end of the day, they know what matters: Coming Home.
Frankie Love writes filthy-sweet stories about bad boys and mountain men. As a thirty-something mom to six who is ridiculously in love with her own bearded hottie, she believes in love-at-first-sight and happily-ever-afters. She also believes in the power of a quickie.
❤️ Get ready to fall in love ... you deserve it! ❤️
This was a fab story that started off with tragedy and ended up with a wonderful family and forever love. Tallie, aunt to little Lucy, manages to keep them both safe from the mudslide until Graham rescues them. They have an instant connection that led to a filthy sweet romance. Some family drama, from both sides, spiced up the story and I really enjoyed the family-first sentiment that ran through the entire story. Well written and well paced, it was a heartwarming and entertaining read :D
Graham is a member of the Rough family but he was always a little different. Instead of going into the family business, he felt the need to help to help others so he joined the police. He is the next unmarried Rough child and is getting pressure to find his one. Graham had given up on finding the woman for him because everyone in town is either related to him or he isn't attracted to them. Then a mudslide happens four towns over and he volunteers for the Search and Rescue team. He ends up rescuing Tallie, a beautiful woman with a baby. He offers them a room in his cabin until she can't get on her feet again but secretly he wants her to stay forever.
Tallie had moved in with her older sister and her baby niece. Her sister's baby daddy was abusive and manipulating. Her sister is just glad to be free of him. Then one morning a huge mudslide happens in their town sending them running. Tallie is carrying her niece while her sister goes to ask where to go. They get separated and Tallie ends up up on a hill near the woods. She is rescued by a handsome police officer. She is afraid to tell him that her niece Lucy isn't her child because the baby daddy might take her away. The more time she spends with Graham, the more she falls. The mudslide took away the rest of her family but it may just give her a new ready made family instead.

Another wonderful story about a member of the Rough family. This one focuses on Graham who has not followed in the footsteps of his siblings in the family business but instead is a police officer in Home. Tallie is a woman who has not had an easy life. From a mother who lived paycheck to paycheck and extended family not lending a hand when she and her sister lose their mother. Tallie and her sister Julia have learned to rely on one another and Tallie has now suffered a loss again. Her sister did not survive the mudslide that hit their town. She does have her niece Lucy who she must now care for. Graham is sent to help with what has happened in Tallie's town and offers Tallie and her niece a place to stay. The attraction between Graham and Tallie is wonderful. I like how from the beginning Graham wants to help the two. I also like how the Rough's are more than willing to help Tallie out. This was an entertaining read and I can not wat to read about the other Rough children. Great HEA.\
I have always love the Rough family. They are ideal. Real and very very protective.
Graham is next to find love and he does in the most unusual and common way - during rescue however Tallie comes with another mouth to feed that is not her own, per se. Tallie is young and is part-time caretake/babysitter for her niece. During a freak natural disaster, Tallie gets separated from her sister Julie and she has Lucy. What is she to do...SHe has lost everything but gained it all back with Graham.
The Roughs have a tendency to accept until you give them reason not too...and it all started with Red and Annie....and the name for the children is hilariously sweet.
Frankie as always makes her character beyond believable but at the same time uncharacteristically real to the point you actually know someone like them....Thank you Frankie!!!!.

In this book we meet Tallie Miller & Graham Rough. Graham is at Sunday dinner just like always when he gets a text about needing all hands on deck to help 4 towns over to help with mudslide victims. Little did he know when helping out he would meet a woman and her niece that would capture his heart. Tallie & her sister get the alert on their phones about the mudslide and have a moment to grab essentials and get out of the house. Tallie is carrying her niece and during the confusion gets separated from her sister. Little did she know a cop would come along and rescue her and her niece and show her what family is all about. Can they find a HEA or will it all be too much for Tallie?
Another amazing hit by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
In Rough Enough, the fifth book in Frankie Love's fabulous Coming Home to the Mountain series, we get the opportunity to revisit Home, WA and the Rough family as Graham gets his HEA. A cop, Graham is called to a neighbouring town after a mudslide, where he rescues Tallie and her baby niece, Lucy. Feeling instantly protective of the beautiful young woman and the baby in her arms, Graham invites them to stay with him - and it is not long before the mutual attraction between Graham and Tallie explodes. Another wonderfully entertaining, filthy-sweet instalove romance, just as we have come to count on with Ms Love.

This is book number 5 of the Coming Home to the Mountain series and focuses on Graham and Tallie. Tallie had been living with her older sister Julia and her 1 year old daughter Lucy when there is a mudslide that forces them to race to safety. During the escape, Tallie and her niece become separated from Julia and are rescued by Graham. Graham has an instant pull to Tallie and wants to be the person to take care of her and Lucy. He brings them home with him and does everything he can to make sure they are taken care of and happy. It doesn't take them long at all to realize that they had found their soulmate and go all in with each other. This was a great story and a great addition to the series!.

Loved this fast steamy read. Graham is the Rough son that is a police officer in Home, where all the Rough family still live. Graham's been called from Sunday dinner to help rescue victims from a landslide. Graham rescues Tallie, who has her 1 year old niece with her. Graham is more than smitten, so much more that he has them move into his home so he can take care of them. When these Rough men meet their one they will do everything they can to keep them. This is a fast paced steamy hot read and I loved it. Has laughter and tears, fast paced and steamy and just a great read. Love this series.

I am so in love with this Rough family. They may be rough around the edges but they love hard and they protect the ones they love.
Graham is an officer with Home PD and when news of an impending mudslide a few towns over comes in, he rushes to assist. Only his life is forever changed when he sees Tallie clinging to a sleepy baby in a tree trying to stay safe.
Tallie has never had anyone care for her and she struggles with Graham and his families kindness. I love that he was there for her with no questions asked. Graham just like the rest of family fell fast. He does everything he can to prove to Tallie that he will be there for her, forever.
This one was actually really sad :( Still insta-love like the others (I'm over this series at this point, but don't want to quit when I'm almost done). And it seemed a lot shorter than the previous books. I wasn't really feeling the love between Graham and Tallie. Nothing really screamed, 'oh, they'd make a great couple' like some of the other MCs from the series. But I liked them well enough once they were together a while longer.
I liked Graham. He was a dirty talker ;) Tallie was really sweet and it broke my heart with all she was going through. But I admired her resiliency and dedication to her niece. She was a tough cookie.
This is book 5 in the Coming Home to the Mountain series by Frankie Love and it is a quick, instat-love read that will have you falling in love as you turn the pages. Graham Rough is a police officer in Home and is called in to assist in a mudslide situation a couple of towns over. He finds Tallie and a baby stranded on a mountain and takes them into his care. This book is a great read full of emotions, heat, love, sweetness, and danger.

Graham and Tallie meet during a tragic event but they stayed together because of love. Graham is a police officer and when he heard about a landslide in another town he never imagined he would find the woman of his dreams at the same time. I loved the way this author brought Graham and Tallie together and how they found each other at the right time in their lives. I loved getting to catch up with the rest of the Rough family and I look forward to reading the rest of the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
This is my first review for 2023, how exciting. While this is another quick read from Frankie Love it’s both tragic and heartwarming. A freak mudslide leads Graham and Tallie together. Tallie is helping her sister by taking care of her niece Lucy. Graham is a police officer who finds them after the mudslide. While everyone in the Rough family seems to fall fast sweet Graham is no different. When old drama comes to rear it’s ugly head Graham immediately comes to Tallie’s defense.

There is a mudslide coming and I have to save my niece.
A police man help Tallie and the baby get out of the mudslide. He takes her from the tent where everyone is trying to help all the victims. They put her sister name on the list of peoples missing. There seems to be a spark between the two. Graham takes her to his house and lets his family know a woman and child that have lost everything in the mudslide. This is a short and sweet love story, with a HEA. I am sure you will love it.
This short compassionate and romantic story involves the Rough family which, is always a good time. It is a fairy tale come true for Tallie, one she dared to dream. Graham's protective ways and his genuine concern bring these two together. Out of disaster, heartache and uncertainty comes a beautiful story that heals and warms your heart.

Police officer Graham (H), a part of the volunteer effort to find victims of a mudslide in a nearby town, comes to the rescue for Tallie (h) and the young baby in her arms, Lucy. He feels a connection with the younger woman and insists they come back to his home, as Tallie has nothing left. But Tallie is holding a big secret back from Graham and she worries that he’ll be upset when he finds out the truth. A sweet found family romantic quickie with a little bit of drama and a side of heat.
This was a great instalove romance. For me this series just gets better and better and every time I read one of the stories I feel like I’m going home. This was Graham’s story and I have been looking forward to it from the beginning because I love a guy in uniform. The story had all the warmth of the others but also some sadness. I really loved it.

When Tallie finds herself out running a mudslide with her niece in her arms, her life will be changed forever. She will lose her sister and gain a daughter. Graham connects with Tallie when he comes to her rescue, and it will start their journey. It is a touching story that drew me in and had me in their corner to get their chance for happiness.

This was a wonderful book and a great addition to the Rough series! I really enjoyed Graham and Tallie together as all it took was a signal glance for both of them to know that they had found there other half and their future. There is a bit of drama and sadness but Graham and Tallie get a really sweet HEA. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This story will take you thru heartbreak to happiness. Graham and Tallie meet after disaster struck but still feel an instant connection. I liked both of them but Graham had taken a different road in the family, which led him to Tallie. He was right where he needed to be. The story is a shorter one, but it was still a good romance
A devastating mudslide takes family away from Tallie but she still has her niece clutched in her arms. Graham helps rescue those from the mud slide. He has a connection to Tallie and takes her home where the Rough family open their arms. Another great story in this series. I love how the Rough's all show concern for one of their own but quickly forget they were in the exact same position. Can't wait to read the other books in this series.
I loved this story by Frankie Love. I am really enjoying this family series. I can’t wait to read more about this family. Graham and Tallie met under extraordinary circumstances. A mudslide destroys the town that Tallie grew up in. She is rescued by Graham along with her niece. There is a connection between them. Will they get a happily ever after?

As steamy as it is heartfelt, Graham and Tallie's romance was pure perfection. This fast-paced read is filled with a combination of emotion, intensity, heart, drama, heat, danger and sweetness that will have you desperate to keep those pages turning as you are hit with an abundance of feels and swoon. I am posting an unbiased, unsolicited review.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. A bittersweet tale where the sweet wins in the end. A disaster leaves Tallie as the mother to her niece and Graham rescues them. They fall for each other and with a minor interference that is dealt with quickly, they start a fulfilling life together.
This story starts on a rather somber note with a horrific tragedy that changes the lives of so many people. However, through love there is healing and that's the nice ending to the story. Plus you get quite a few steamy scenes in between.

The story begins with a tragedy that brings together our lead characters. As in all the Rough books there is instant attraction and lots of heat. This is a feel-good story but with just enough angst to move the story along. Great read and a nice way to reconnect with the rest of the Rough family.
