When it comes to the Christian life, this is by far one of the most practical and applicable books available. These tenets Trevor writes about are not far off for believers to take hold of. He explains them clearly and gives examples of how you can start shifting your mind, body, and soul to the things God has for you. I feel so blessed and new after reading this book. The emphasis on Christ and who the Holy Spirit is also very refreshing. This book gives a reminder of what is intended for those who are Children of God. “How do we conquer every limitation and live life Unrestrained? Simple, stop focusing on ourselves.” (Page 71 Unrestrained). Love it! Wonderful book and an absolute MUST READ!
Fantastic book, fantastic read! Unrestrained offers great insight on how to start living life at it’s best, just as God intended! Trevor’s radical approach on the gospel allows you to move past stereotypical religion and other obstacles that hinders us and gives you a fresh view on spiritual truths that enables you to flourish in a deeper relationship with Christ.
Laced with biblical truth and “aha!” moments this book is a no brainer for your reading list and home library. Trevor does an excellent job of tackling difficult subjects in the Christian faith and presenting the gospel in a very refreshing light. Unrestrained is a great guideline for how a relationship with Jesus can open up a whole new world of possibility for you. For “seasoned” believers like myself this is a wake-up call. In fact, at the time this book found me, my faith had grown stagnant, and I was having serious doubts about who I believed God was and how the bible related to modern life. I cannot recommend this book enough for anyone wondering if a relationship with God is “worth it”. Unrestrained is aptly named and the tenets within will unlock a new-found appreciation for the gospel, and help you live your life the same way.
