Nathan K — he can hold two souls in his body. If he dies, he loses one yet lives on with the other. As long as he replenishes his second soul, he cannot be killed. Nathan K is immortal.
ON THE RUN
After killing Russo, one of the top Immortals, Nathan needs to get into the United States to hunt down his final target — Larkin. But such violent actions have equally violent consequences. Larkin has put out a bounty and sent his best people after Nathan. With every avenue of escape closing off, Nathan and Robin find their way to Australia and hope to smuggle themselves to the States undetected.
Only problem — their point of contact turns out to be in even greater trouble than Nathan. When those problems catch up, Nathan finds himself locked in a struggle to fight his way toward freedom while trying to keep his whereabouts off Immortal radar. Not easy to do while shooting up storefronts in Brisbane. Making it even harder, a biker gang and a local crime family turn their focus onto Nathan.

I love when a new book comes out in this series as I just love Nathan K. This series is so unique, and while it’s probably not for everyone, I love it. Nathan has gotten rid of one enemy, but now there is another after him and Robin, trapping them in Australia. As always, this book is filled with action, adventure, guts, gore, and an all-around good time. Robin and Nathan K are one of my favorite duos (not romantic), and I love when I can come back to their world and see what they’re up to. Another great entry in the series. Highly recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
I loved this instalment better than the last for some reason. Nathan felt more real and yet more powerful. Great to see his love for Robin more pronounced and even the hint of a romance with Octavia, we will see how it goes. Hated that clockwork seems better than Robin though. Can't wait to see if Nathan and the darkness may end up taking on the cardinal and who would win. So can't wait for the next one!

Another great adventure from Stuart as Nathan is challenged in new ways. His struggles with ethics and mastering his powers creates a whirlwind of an adventure for us to share. Highly recommend series. Start with book 1 and enjoy the ride.
