March 12, 2025DNF @20%. I'm incredibly bored and I can't really tell the age of our main characters because all I got was they aged out of the foster system so does that mean 18? It wasn't mentioned.

I have been wanting this story for awhile now, and believe me it's well worth the wait. There's so much more to my favorite vampire than we thought. Grayson has definitely been holding out on us, and I am excited about what happens next. His friend Atlas is a mystery I want to know more about.
Piper is intriguing and perfect for him.....if they can work a few tiny things out first.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review
I knew there had to be more to Grayson than just being the smart-mouth, flirty vamp we all love. And now we meet Piper. She's tough, funny and living life on her own terms. Their meet cute is perfect for the two of them, but it's hardly smooth sailing and there's a major obstacle standing in their way...naturally.
My only hiccup with this book is how easily Piper seems to disconnect from her past given her strong connection to it in the beginning, and accepts the new direction her life takes (but that's just my personal opinion).
Looking forward to reading this season, seeing how Grayson unravels his destiny and how his friends and allies react when they learn the truth about him

I devoured this book, and felt an extreme sense of loss when I finished the last chapter. The chapters went by in a flash, and honestly I wish this book was triple in size.
Grayson is one of my favorite characters, and I was really looking forward to the Vampire Court; it did not disappoint. Grayson is the type that is so charismatic and charming, and I love his loyalties! He has always been there when needed for the Witch and Warlock Courts, and it was great seeing some cameos from some of them as well.
I am struggling with the timeframe for the second book, being about a year away, but I’ve got it preordered and maybe I’ll reread them all before then.

Greyson is the prince of the house of shade. A house plagued by curses and prophecies. He is also a protector of the witch queens of Evermore. So when he meets Piper, he has no designs beyond a good romp.
Piper is a foster kid with one true family member, Dice. After a scary fall that wasnt a fall, Dice throws the dice for Piper and Greyson. Piper cant help but be drawn to him, even if her picker is broken.
And then the accident happens and Piper's whole world changes. But no one is sure if it is for the better or not.

Will they get together or will the implode? Which royalty should we believe. Oh Miss Bella you leave us with soo many questions; I guess we will need to wait for book 2.

Great new vampire series in a branch off from a couple of characters from the of Evermore Academy cast. Raised in a group foster home, Piper has definite trust issues and feels like she always picks the wrong guy to date. When she meets a handsome English man, Greyson, while working, she is tempted to once again give a guy a chance. Great character development and world building throughout holds interest enough to not want to put the book down. If you enjoy strong, sassy FMC's, you'll enjoy this book. Ends on cliffhanger leaving you wanting more.

Author is awesome! That being said, I really appreciated the female characters/friends not being damsels in distress. It was refreshing to read they lived on their own and wouldn't put up with being told how to run their lives, their personalities, etc. They were funny and smart and growing up in foster system was just another part of them and how they had evolved. Love the book and the way the characters handled themselves. Anything like this that makes me cheer and laugh...is so satisfying!

Arghh! This was a really good book and I NEED to know what happens. But the number of typos littered throughout the book kept pulling me out of the story and I don’t think I can take another book of it. Also, I foresee a lot of angst and I really dislike the angst. It’s the HEA I’m here for, preferably with a decent and not too heart heartwrenching a story prior to it. I’m not even sure we’re heading to a HEA in this series! I don’t see how it can be. Also, Grayson is kind of a dick and Piper deserves better.

Just love Grayson and Piper it is a pity things are not going so well for them. I get very invested in the characters when reading these books, I dislike the baddies and love the good ones. Enjoyed the guest appearance of Ophelia and Cross, she is such a crazy person. As usual the world building was descriptive and also as usual a cliff hanger finish. Hope we don’t have to wait too long for the next book.

August 22, 2022A really tremendous read from an author who understands how to create characters, and dialogue that make the reader keep turning the pages. I really liked the development of Grayson, but I can’t wait to read a spin-off with Atlas! I also can’t wait for the second book in this series. Loved how the relationship developed between Grayson and Piper too. Piper is a character that makes the reader sit up and take notice. Couldn’t recommend this one more highly.

This was okay, I picked it up on a whim while looking for another book.
I didn’t realise it was the first in a series and none of the other books were out. But that’s on me for not checking.
I quite enjoyed it to be honest but it needs editing.

If the second book was available I’d read it but not sure I’ll remember by the time it’s released.

I love this whole story, Piper and Grayson are absolutely meant for each other. It will be interesting to see how things turn out. Will Piper be the end of Grayson or will they end up together in utter bliss as most of us are hoping for. This book clicked all the right boxes for me... I felt like I was part of the story. And can't wait for the next book in this series. It also has characters from her other series in this as well.

"Thank you for the arc" ...
I absolutely adored this book ....omg it was awesome...it started out as more of a romance but there was always a low-key paranormal element it was amazing. I loved the friendship between dice and Piper. I have been waiting for Grayson's book forever and this book didn't disappoint at all..

Awesome start!
Awesome start to a new series! I have been waiting for Grayson and was not disappointed whatsoever. I absolutely love vampires. Piper is absolutely perfect for him. I couldn't put the book down once I started. It was interesting the whole way through. I can't wait to see what the next book brings!

Perfection
Once again Megan has created an amazing series. I absolutely love these books. Each and every book has delivered amazing stories. I love how they all connect to each other and yet allow you to learn more about each character, once again an amazing series by an amazing writter.

I love the royal court books 😍
Really enjoy this first installment of the vampire court. The only thing that let it down for me was Pipers reaction to finding out about being a vampire. There wasn't much shock she just seemed to accept her fate in seconds. Had she have found it a bit harder to deal with it would have made the story much better.

Great Vampire love...cliffhanger!
Great book. Love the vampire world this author has built. This prophecy is garbage but they all believe it. I love Piper and Dice. Their sisterhood is everything. Atlas is a trip and hilarious throughout. Grayson makes dumb choices. Can't wait to keep reading!

Wow this book is giving us a new couple interest with their own set of problems. Grayson is told not to love by a curse. Piper is a sassy new vampire learning her new life. We have mystery to solve on several fronts and will need more.

Best one yet can't wait for number two. A more mature relationship than the witches and the warlocks... Absolutely love all the ties back to the other characters from the witch and warlock courts! Can't believe the prophecy isn't more obvious to someone, anyone!

This was an amazing read, such a well crafted story. I loved Piper, she's just so sassy and determined to stand up for herself. And Grayson, well I am loving getting to know more about him, he's always been interesting from the little bits of him we've seen in the other books, but now we get a proper look at him and his life.
So looking forward to reading the rest of this series, really want to see more of Dice too.

I don't think I have read a book with so many pages so fast. I could not put it down. The characters are all absolutely amazing and I love how sassy Piper is. I cannot wait to sink my teeth into the next installemnt!!!

wicked for sure
Wow this is crazy good. I love a good romantisy and this does not disappoint. Starting off “normal” so you get a good backstory and then it takes off. I’m looking forward to finding out if some of my suspicions are true or not. Oooohhh so good.

Goodness me. So good
So I didn't know what to expect from this book but it was so good. I ended up reading it in a day (no easy feat with a 3 year old and,1 year old)
I want to know more about Dice. She has some skills we don't know about yet!
