Sawyer is back in Hollis after a whirlwind trip to New York and her mama is not too happy with how Sawyer spent her time away. Newly married and still unemployed, Sawyer finds herself feeling alone in her hometown after Annabeth pushes her away and her mama cuts off all communication.
Ryan is also back in Hollis, adjusting to his new life as a Private Detective and trying to stay up to date on Rory Cunningham's arrest in Oxford. As much as Sawyer promises to stay away from both his new career and old case files, she finds herself in the middle of both of them. His first client brings her past to the present and Rory's arrest is bringing old faces back to Hollis. Ryan and Sawyer have to face old enemies together, which brings out old secrets and bad habits.

The End
I have really enjoyed this story but it's the end? There's so many questions. Is there another book? The end feels rushed!
