My name is Lottie Lemon, and I see dead people. Okay, so I rarely see dead people, mostly I see furry creatures of the dearly departed variety, who have come back from the other side to warn me of their previous owner’s impending doom.
June is here, the weather is warm, Evie is set to graduate high school, and Cormack’s tropical-themed baby shower is at hand. If that wasn’t enough, Carlotta and I are running ourselves into the ground trying to run Rizzo’s Trattoria in addition to the bakery. But when a birthday celebration at Rizzo’s ends in murder, another thing gets added to my to-do list—catching a killer.
Don’t get me started on my dealings with the devil himself in an effort to nab whoever is pushing narcotics through that curse of an establishment. And, boy, let me tell you that goes awry in a spectacular fashion.
Then there’s something going on with Everett. That man cannot seem to catch a break.
None of us can.
Lottie Lemon has a brand new bakery to tend to, a budding romance with perhaps one too many suitors, and she has the supernatural ability to see the dead—which are always harbingers for ominous things to come. Throw in a string of murders, and her insatiable thirst for justice, and you’ll have more chaos than you know what to do with.
Lottie has more than pineapple upside down cake on her hands, she got a killer to contend with.

Lottie finds herself wondering how she is finding yet, again, another dead body. She begins to piece together what happened while she is on the hunt for the killer. She is also trying to figure out who is dealing drugs in Honey Hollow and has decided to covertly use Jed Silver to find out who is doing it. Some of her decision making is quite questionable, as is Noah's and Everett's at this point. Everyone seems to have thrown common sense out the window in this one. The ending was a cliffy and it appears we will have to wait a while to see how this all shakes out. I will say that I have said it before, why does Nell show up when Lottie "needs" her, yet she can't tell Lottie what is going on?
Can't wait to see if Carmack is having one or two babies, if Alex will start adulting, & WHERE IS EVERETTE? In Rizzo's. I hope not. Who was that bloody that drugged Everett? Will Jed's charges stick? I can't wait until February for more laughs, talking to suspects, & Eve's summer.
Words do not do justice to how wonderful this series is
I have read everyone in the series and I am hooked. Reading this one made me sad because of the next one not getting here until February but that’s my birthday so I get it as a gift. Anyone who enjoys mysteries, ghost, investigation is going to live in this series.
Lottie Lemon has sure been ramping up the murder investigations lately. This month, not one but two of her mother's authors club members are killed via gun shot. One at the restaurant right before the drug task force raided it and Lottie was literally holding the drugs. She had just discovered them when it all went down. But since she has so much to live for, Charlie takes the rap for her instead. Then another author gets gunned down and it really makes Lottie nervous if her mother is in danger. While investigating the murders and trying to clear her sisters name, Lottie is still trying to prepare for Evie's graduation and Cormack is about to have another Fox baby (thankfully not Noah's!). The ending is definitely a doozy though... it might be Noah's time again!! Woohoo! I received an ARC for my honest review!
Things are a tangled mess in Honey Hollow. Lottie is keeping secrets from Everett and Everett is keeping secrets from Lottie! It should be a great time - Evie is graduating from HHH - Honey Hollow High but there are secret and dangerous things going on. Lottie's investigating a murder that one of her relatives is caught up in. Everett has an unknown woman stalking him. Noah, the local detective is always there as he's Lottie's baby daughter's biological father. So, everything is a mess and who knows how it will turn out. This is a good addition to the series which can also be read as a standalone. I think you'll enjoy this series as much as I do.

As alwasy Honey Hollow and it's residents have a mystery on their hands. Lottie, Everett, Noah and the gang are at it again, trying to saolve the newest murder. Honey Hollow is a small, idealic town. It's beauiful and mostly friendly. The characters that live there are relatable and fun to read about. Their lives are chaotic, and full of love. I love this series. I never tire of reading it and I'm always excited to see what happens next. There's babies and business expansions, wedding and sometimes funerals. There's never a dull moment. Well done to the author on writing a story that keep going.
"...Lottie has more than pineapple upside-down cake on her hands; she’s got a killer to contend with.... " Who is dead, why do I have to see them, now what is going to happen ?
All thoughts which might be running through Lottie Lemon's mind as she sees dead people.
Be prepared to laugh out loud, try to understand who is married to whom and whom is sleeping with whom in this delightful tale in Honey Hollow.
After all,"... Living in Honey Hollow can be murder....".

I loved this book, great characters and story. Lottie has two husbands (yep need to read more about how that happened!) and two mums (one biological and one adopted and nurturing) plus she runs a bakery and helps her birth mother run a restaurant she was bequeathed. Sounds fun? Well it gets better as there's a drugs ring operating at the restaurant then a murder and Lottie is determined to get to the bottom of both, but I'll leave you to find out the rest, you don't want to miss out, go on give it a go.

How does Lottie Lemon ever sleep? Her crazy life and antics with the gang leaves me in stitches and staying up way too late just reading "one more chapter". With murders to solve, Cormack's impending birth, Lottie keeping secrets, Everett & Noah keeping secrets, Evie graduating from HHH, and Miranda's baby making tips 101, Lottie running a successful bakery and now restaurant too, it's just another busy day for Lottie Lemon. Read this great book from the Murder In the Mix series as part of the series or as a standalone. Addison Moore does not disappoint!
Cormack’s baby shower of the century provides the backdrop for the latest Lottie Lemon caper. During the wind up to the big party, life goes on in Honey Hollow, with Evie set to graduate from high school, Miranda Lemon’s writing support group meeting regularly, and Noah’s sister Samantha as well as Lottie’s sister Meg latching themselves to Jed, a recently released felon. Murder and the usual highjinks follow - and the cliff-hanger ending!!!
Lottie still solving murders. But when is she going to stop being and feeling as if she owes Noah, when she is legally married to Everette. She lives with him Everette, sleeps with him. She has a supersensual nature that she also, shares with her bio mother Carlotta and her bio sister Charlie (Carlotta), Lottie has a lot to learn and do. She is young but old enough to know better on some things. I truly enjoy the books. I just need Noah to grow up at some point.
In this book, Lottie and the gang are searching for the person or persons who murdered 2 different people from Lotties mom's writing group. Along the way, bumps in the road keep them from finding out who the murderer is right off. As if that isn't bad enough Lottie is preparing for the baby shower of all baby showers.
What will happen along te way and who is the murder???? Read the book to find out.

Lottie and the gang are back again . She is on the trail of a killer that already murdered two people. There are alot of things happening that are slowing her down to find out who did it. This book was super fun and cute. I thought it was an amazing and tantalizing tale. I love this series. I hope it never ends.

Sweet goodies are not the only things mixed up in these stories. Lottie's family is about as mixed up as you can get. Carlotta is in rare form with her dead hair piece. Noah and Everett trade jibs incessantly. And they all eat continually. The plot is normal but there's a big twist at the end.
I enjoy this series. Lottie has a murder solve, an arsonist and a drug dealer to catch in Honey Hollow. I like the plot, humor and most of the characters. Wish Noah would lose his animosity for Everett. Lottie and Everett each do something I consider stupid. Recipe for Pineapple Upside Down Cake is in the book
I just don't know but I can't put your books down and I keep reading this whole series on Lottie's life. This differently needs to be a Nexflix serious. Good read five stars.
The characters are wonderful and zany. The plot is twisty and darker than some of the other books. This book ends on a cliffhanger, so have the next book cued up before reading.
Avid graduates, but a strange person shows up and is chasing Essex . And of course he does not think things, through. Murders, arson, lots of moving parts and of course Carlotta.
