This is book 4 in the Brotherhood Protectors Yellowstone series and it features Dax and Liliana. She’s running for US Congress and someone doesn’t want her to win. Dax is assigned as her protector, going undercover as her fiancé. They have instant chemistry and we know what happens when they spend so much time together.
This story line was fantastic! As always, the characters are people I’d love to be friends with! The mystery and suspense were captivating. Definitely looking forward to the next book in the amazing series!

In this latest addition to the series, former Navy SEAL, Daxton Young, and Liliana LIghtfeather, lawyer and currently running for US House of Representatives, get their story.
Dax’s childhood left emotional scars after his mother left him behind to be brought up by a Marine that didn’t know the difference between a child and a recruit.
Liliana grew up poor with a single parent in the Wind River Reservation, and she too had to overcome many obstacles.
When in the middle of her campaign her life is threatened and she asks the Brotherhood for help, Dax is assigned as her Protector. The attraction between them is immediate but neither is looking for love.
As the danger increases so do the feelings. Will they survive the threats? If they do, will they realize that together they are stronger than apart?
This was a good addition to the series and both characters are strong and likable.
What I appreciated most is the fact that the author reminds us that the American Indians need a strong voice in government as well as the respect. These are truly the real Americans.

When she and her campaign come under fire she agrees she finds herself not only being protected but having Dax pretending to be her fiancé where they find themselves fighting not only for their lives but their feelings for each other as well.
The story is unique, and the characters draw you in as they take us on a suspenseful and romantic journey.

When her campaign for US representative from Wyoming comes under attack, Liliana’s friend puts her in touch with the Brotherhood Protesters in Yellowstone. Dax is assigned to provide protection. In order to provide the security she needs, they pretend to be engaged. A great addition to the Brotherhood Protectors series. Strong determined characters who are focused on protecting the way of life in Wyoming from people who are in it for the money. Can they find out who is behind the attacks before Liliana gets hurt? After you start it, you can’t put it down until the end. Definitely was a late night read.

Everything Dax knows and wants in his life is blown to pieces the minute he meets Liliana. He never wanted love, a wife or a family, he was terrified of trusting a woman and content to spend his life alone....
But Liliana is different, she is not just 'a' woman but HIS woman and he realises just how blind he has been. I love that Dax is smart enough to admit to himself that he was wrong and that he doesn't run, but embraces Liliana and the overwhelming feelings she causes in him.
The Yellowstone team are falling faster than anyone could ever have imagined, please, please let Stone add to the team so we can have many more books in the future.

Love isn't in either of their plans, but fate and throw in a fake engagement and watch the magic happen! Dax is the ultimate alpha hero who doesn't trust easily. Liliana might just be the one to change his mind.....Elle James keeps bringing all the best in these Brotherhood Protector stories!!! Suspense, action, and such strong emotional journeys! Absolutely awesome read!!

Brotherhood Protectors Yellowstone Bk #4
What happens when someone tries to blow you up? You call the Brotherhood!!! The Brotherhood Protector's, that is. Our heroine Liliana is running for U.S. Congress - and someone doesn't want her to win, and is willing to kill to stop her. Luckily her friend has connections and gets her a bodyguard assigned from the Montana branch of the Brotherhood Protectors. Our hero and bodyguard is Daxton, ex-SEAL, ex-merc, current Brotherhood Protector, who just happens to be totally untrusting of women. Too bad he gets assigned the role of fake fiancé in order to protect Liliana. And as for Liliana, "...there was absolutely no room in her schedule or life for love." You know this is gonna be great. Playing almost "married" requires lots of practice *winky eye* . Overall, Saving Liliana is a fun, fast paced explosive adventure with slight non-preachy political talk (think Yellowstone politics), with resistant insta-love between the Liliana and Dax (resistance is futile..ha ha ha) , and a slightly corny bad guy (to me). But there is a pretty fun heated HEA and the book reads easily:) A great read. I received an ARC of this book to review.

What a delightful book! I've always enjoyed Dale's books but this one just seems to hit the spot. The book caught my attention right away and held it to the end. Every so often I would stop and think to myself "gee, this is a really great book!". The book has a lot to offer; adventure, fake engagement, fun and heated love scenes, twist and unpredictable turns, wonderful characters, emotional events, funny events, action-packed, intrigued, and hot romance.
It amaze me how Dale is about to take a normal events which we are familiar with and builds an exciting mystery romance story. In this book we are introduced to two wonderful characters, Daxton (Dax) Young & Liliana Lightfeather. Liliana is campaigning for US Congress to representative her state of Wyoming. Somebody seems to want her dead. Dax who works for the Brotherhood Protector has been assigned to be her protector.
There is instant attraction between Dax & Liliana and boy do the fireworks fly. Both of them fight this attraction. Dax enjoys the romance and sex but doesn't trust women while Liliana feels her life is dedicated to the people of Wyoming and her job. She doesn't have time for marriage. It was a joy to watch the two engage to become one.
I received a free copy of this book for an honest review. I would recommend this book to anybody who enjoys Suspense Romance and Military Romance books. This book is a page-turner, entertaining, smoothly written and full of delightful characters so grab yourself a copy of the book, sit down, relax and have yourself a delightful time.

Wow. I adored this story!! These two characters could not have been more perfect for each other.
This is a treasured visit back to the Brotherhood Protectors world that Elle James has made so spectacularly addictive.
Dax has survived a negative upbringing and being left behind by the one person who should have stayed and loved him. He’s closed his heart off as a consequence, it’s such a shame and heartbreaking when our past continues to have its claws in our present. He’s a delicious alpha protector who has found a home with his brothers in arms.
Watching him fight his attraction to Liliana was addictive because I think, even he knew he’d give in, but being a man they have to fight to the bitter end. What I don’t think Dax realises is that he deserves to find someone to love him, to put him first.
Liliana is just that woman. She’s strong and capable. Humble and open and in her own ways fights for the under dog.
Her attraction to Dax is just as intense and overwhelming as his for her. It was addictive to watch them traverse down the road to find their HEA, with danger digging their every step.
Their chemistry burned as bright as a star in the nights sky. Their connection instant and lasting.
This is, without a doubt, a beautiful addition to Elle James collection. This rollercoaster takes you on a ride full of suspense, danger, steam, brotherhood and love.

Liliana Lightfeather from the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming is running for a seat in Congress. She is a lawyer who is running as an Independent against both a Republican and Democrat opponent. She is intending to fight for the people and is not out to make money for herself. However, she is running into problems on her tour of the state. The latest and worst problem occurred just after she exited the stage at a rally at Riverton. A bomb went off under the stage. She was thrown down and hit her head; but otherwise, was unhurt. Immediately, her friend Amanda Small was beside her to help. After calling 911 for help, Amanda called her boyfriend, Carter Manning of the Brotherhood Protectors in West Yellowstone, Montana. She knew Liliana needed more help than she and her campaign people could offer.
Stone Jacobs, the leader of this group, immediately sent a plane f or Liliana and Amanda so they could start helping Liliana. With Liliana’s cooperation, Daxton Young was assigned as her protection. So that he could stay close by her without rumors starting about them, she agreed he would play her fiancé.

A 2020’s kind of relationship.
Dax is assigned to help Amanda’s friend Liliana who is running for Congresswoman for the state of Wyoming. Little things have been happening but today the stage she was just leaving was blown up. Amanda was with her at her speaking engagement and whisked her off to West Yellowstone to the Brotherhood Protectors office.
Kind of a repeat. Pretend to be engaged so you are always near the one you are protecting. There is chemistry between these two but it wouldn’t be a Ms James novel if Cupid doesn’t shoot his arrow quickly. While Swede and Kyla try to figure out where the C-4 was stolen from, checking on her political opponents, contribution donators and anyone that was recently released from prison she sent them to, Liliana is fulfilling her appearance schedule. Kujo and six show up to sniff out any bombs at a few of her appearances.
Dax is an only child like Liliana. Liliana’s dad left them when she was young and her mother struggled with two jobs on the reservation. Liliana is a hard working woman and only wants to improve her great state. Dax always thought his mother died when he was young. In his teenage years he discovered she just left. His dad was a Marine and treated Dax like one of his grunts from a very early age. He saw that love didn’t work and decided to steer clear of the emotion.
So who is out to sabotage Liliana’s campaign? I enjoyed this book.

What a wonderful addition to Elle Jame’s Brotherhood Protectors Yellowstone series. And this one turned out to be one of my favorites. Daxton (Dax)Young was abandoned by his mother at a young age, and raised by a distant and cold father. Dax joined the Navy as soon as he could to become a SEAL. After his time in the SEALs , he now works for Brotherhood Protectors Yellowstone. He’s happy to be around his brothers again.
Then he meets Liliana Lightfeather who is running for the US House of Representative for the state of Wyoming. From the Wind River Reservation, she lived in poverty her whole life. But fought to become a lawyer and wants to represent her state.
Liliana is on her campaign trail when the stage she is standing on explodes. And this happens after several other minor incidents. Her best friend Amanda tells her it’s time to call in the the Brotherhood Protectors Yellowstone for help. And that of course is where she meets Dax Young.
Together they fight to stay alive and in the process, they fall in love. I really enjoyed this book and I’m sure you will too.

Everyone needs enjoyment and Elle James always delivers. I love the fact that I get romantic suspense along with tidbits of reality. Even though this is book 4 it can be read as a stand alone with no issue. If you have read this series you see a few friends. Liliana Lightfeather is grew up on the reservation and struggled to stay on the straight and narrow. She graduated, became a lawyer and is running for US representative as an Independent. An explosion rips through the stage she has just departed. Amanda (Saving Amanda) convinces her to let the Brotherhood Protectors help. Daxton our Navy Seal gets to be her pretend fiance. How hard could it be after all. His mom ran out and he knows you can never trust a women. Kujo and Six help out. We see Stone and his dad along with previous Yellowstone Brotherhood, but you are not lost, or feeling left out. Fast paced romantic suspense with some steam and happily ever after. Grab hot cocoa, tea or coffee, pull up a comfortable chair and enjoy. Thank you for the arc. Liliana Lightfeather is running for a Congressional seat from Wyoming, unfortunately someone doesn’t want her to succeed. The show this by trying to blow her up, but her friend Amanda whisks her away to the Yellowstone location of the Brotherhood Protectors, where her boyfriend works. Liliana is then paired with Daxton Young, who along with the rest of his team, served with the Navy SEALs before joining Hank Patterson’s team of Protectors. Dax would be her pretend fiancée to be able to be with her all the time but not let on to anyone on the campaign trail what was going on. Dax learned from his Dad to never trust women, but Liliana is young and beautiful and passionate. And Liliana thinks she doesn’t have time for anything but campaigning and work. Can they remain as removed as they think pretending to be engaged in close quarters while trying to keep Liliana alive? It’s such a great book, I couldn’t put it down!! It’s a definite MUST read!!!

Saving Liliana is the perfect read after the recent election trashing we've just escaped from and a suspenseful romance by Elle James. Ms. James has given us a phenomenal story with this well-written book. Liliana is campaigning for her state's seat in Congress when the stage she was standing on explodes as she was walking off. Dax and Liliana's tale is loaded with fantastic characters, drama, action, heat, suspense and humor. I loved this book and look forward to my next book by Elle James. Saving Liliana is book 4 of the Brotherhood Protectors Yellowstone Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliffhanger.

I have not read the prior stories in this series and even though some prior characters were mentioned, it wasn't needed to fully understand and enjoy this story.
I adore the author and the way she writes such compelling and thrilling stories. This one does not disappoint in any way. Except for it could have gone on and on!

Saving Liliana by Elle James is book #4 in the Brotherhood Protectors Yellowstone series. Liliana Lightfeather is running, as an Independent, for the United States House of Representatives from Wyoming. When the stage Liliana had just exited exploded after she gave a campaign speech, Liliana knew she needed protection. Enter Brotherhood Protectors Yellowstone branch and Daxton "Dax" Young. Liliana and Dax found themselves attracted to each other. They faced danger and fought through it until the culprit trying to end Liliana's election chances and her life is caught. I really liked these two main characters. It was great to reunite with other characters from earlier books too.

Once again we are with the former mercenaries that became the latest branch of the Brotherhood Protectors based in Yellowstone and this time we get Daxton (Dax) Youngs story. he is tasked with the protection of Liliana Lightfeather a lawyer running for the US House of Representatives representing Wyoming but someone wants her stopped Because he has to be close at all times Dex will play the part of her fiancé but can a woman who has no time to dedicate to a private life and man that has no trust in women build a future even if they are attracted to one another and while they tiptoe around one another can he keep her safe and can they discover who is trying to stop her You will have to see in this latest fast fun addition to this series

This story has a balanced blend of suspense and romance. Liliana Lightfeather is running for the US House of Representatives when her campaign comes under attack, realizing they need extra protection they call the Yellowstone Brotherhood Protectors. Daxton Young seems perfect for the position because he knows he will never trust a woman enough to fall in love with her. There would be no personal feeling involved. Dax provides us with swoon-worthy moments. While Liliana is so likable in her caring and convictions. It was easy to go along with these two as they figure out not only their personal feeling but who is attacking her campaign. Another good addition to the Brotherhood Protectors series.

When Liliana’s life is threatened while running for congress, she finds help with the Brotherhood Protectors in Yellowstone and the man assigned to her is Dax. Neither is looking for romance, quite the opposite, especially Dax with his issues but there is something about Liliana that when he is pretending to be her fiancé to stay close….he doesn’t want it to end…but first he has to keep her safe from a threat that will do anything to end her.
A great read, no over the top drama, steam, suspense, danger and great characters. I liked these two, no holding back, open and honesty between them and Liliana was no wilting flower…she could hold her own.

Newly out of the Marines, Dax is approached to join the Brotherhood Protectors. Curious, but not convinced it is the place he needs to be, he goes to Yellowstone to see for himself. His first assignment is to protect a Native American woman, Liliana running for Congress. Her endeavor to represent her state puts her at great risk to people who won’t be able to control her for their interests. In order for him to stick close to her, they travel under the guise that they are engaged. He pulls her out of some dangerous situations, but has she covered enough ground to get elected? Will the team of Protectors be able to ferret out the bad guys? Lots of action and intrigue! Well written and as always, a very enjoyable read.

Running for the goal
Liliana and Daxton. Starting off with an explosive beginning we see a member from a local reservation running for Congress and ruffling some feathers along the way. She needs protection and that is when we see Daxton as her brotherhood protector. Their chemistry is immediate, but both have some strong hesitations about the feelings and what it could mean. The danger continues to progress and we see the team, especially Kyla, working together to find answers while Liliana and Daxton fall in love and tour the state campaigning. The culprit was not a huge surprise, but the connections he used was as it was smart and misleading. A good read and a great ending!

What an exciting filled story this was, with danger all around and explosive chemistry. I really loved this book and highly recommend the series.

Dax was abandoned by his mother and his father was a taciturn Marine. He decided to become a Navy Seal. After twelve years later he joined Brotherhood Protectors. He never trusted women and never married because of his mother. He meets lawyer and motivational speaker Lotions Light feather running for the.U.S. Representatives for Wyoming. They were expecting a older lady. They were protecting her because is.trying to kill her. Dax and Liliana were Attracted to each other and they were pretending to be engaged.

Interesting and there is suspense and some action, great characters most of whom I've got to know at least a bit through the series. A few inconsistencies made a difference in my score sadly, I couldn't give a 5 when edited, beta or arc readers should have picked up these, one was fairly important to the plot. However I enjoyed it overall. It's always the guys most adament they won't fall, that fall the fastest and hardest.
