But as the team hunt a killer, one that uses ritualistic locations and weapons to perform their murders, Declan will journey on a heretical treasure hunt through an underground pagan and spiritual subculture of witches, shamans, druids, magicians and heathens, a world of esoteric luncheons and virtual sabbats, and where curses are believed real, and the dead indeed talk...

Really good fun as long as you’re able to suspend disbelief for long enough! Light hearted.
Some irritating facets. Americanisms such as ‘on the weekend’ and calling a police station a precinct. The Royal Parks Constabulary was abolished in 2005 but still lives on in this book while Dr Marcos’ rôle is pushing fancifulness to the absolute limit.
This may be a Kindle thing but why so many italics?!

worth the read but…
I love this series but book 6 had too many characters, aliases, and plot twists. I found I lost interest. The first 2 books were great though

Like some other “followers” book six was a struggle. Nearly didn’t finish it. While I’ve purchased next three I feel I need a break, so reading different author / genre.

Excellent series of 3 books.
I am not sure I would want to be one of "Dekkers" friends as they don't seem to last too long!
