Writing a review for your friend who just wrote her first book is truly an honor. I shared with Elizabeth (Liz) that I had not gotten past the Introduction without shedding a tear…or two. I love how she wrote it as though we were having a face to face conversation…I heard her sweet voice and laughter narrating as I read it…how glorious! But we all know that everybody has a story. Some of us share it in small groups, with close friends or maybe our co-workers. Elizabeth was obedient to God’s calling to write this book, and she did a great job at conveying her life message. There were so many wonderful gifts that she shared that I found myself underlying so many of them. This book is a beautiful example of recognizing the work that God has done in Liz’s life, despite hardships and life lessons. And the best part of is that God was right there along the way because she was obedient and had a relationship with Jesus that matured over time.

Auntie Ann's Review

I just finished reading my own book from beginning to end. There are times when I pick it up and read parts. This time, God knew I needed the entire book. My fiancé's aunt that I adored died of a heart attack on Dec. 10th. We've been dealing with a lot. God sent me to my own book for His BIG words. I didn’t realize that I (the author) could leave a review. So, in memory of Auntie Ann, an amazing woman that I'll never forget, I looked through my texts, and I wanted to leave her words about my book.

Proverbs 31:25 says “strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come.” This book and the spirit of a beautiful woman, Elizabeth Williams, embodies this scripture.

I find it truly amazing how God works for us all the time. During one of my most challenging summers, I needed this book and the testimonials. I needed my Ms. Liz, my big sister, the sunshine on earth. Her spirit was all over this. It was a big relief upon completing the book. It made me more open to forgiveness, unconditional love, and understanding the grace of my lord. Beautiful stories, personal anecdotes, and a woman that centers God in her life. Thank you for helping me to forgive my own mother for her shortcomings. A book that shows you what really matters, and why it is always God. We just have to believe!
