Right is angry and bitter at the world. After the death of his twin sister, he’s blackballed from the NFL, labeled a social pariah, and exiled from society. Other than his best friend and personal assistant, no one wants anything to do with him. Now, normally, Right doesn’t give a rat’s azz what anyone thinks about him but, because of the false narrative that’s being pushed about his character, enrollment has dwindled at his football camps. Right’s ultimate goal is to help young boys achieve their NFL dreams and he can’t do that if there are no warm bodies at his camps. So, his publicist comes up with the brilliant idea to have a journalist move in with him for a month to write an article that will not only humanize Right to the public but, finally reveal the truth about the accident. Nyah has been praying for her big break and this article is it. She, like the rest of the world, can’t stand Right and thinks he’s an awful human being. But, Nyah doesn’t have to like Right to change people’s opinion about him and restore his reputation. When she finally learns the truth about what really went down the night of the accident, Nyah puts pen to paper and sets out to right every wrong done against Righteous Long. I absolutely adored Vibration. This was a really sweet story about redemption, trust, and forgiveness. Not only was Nyah able to write an article that changed everyone’s view of Right but, she was also able to capture his heart. Their journey to the HEA neither of them were looking for will definitely tug at your heartstrings.
Right and Nyah’s story definitely gave me Beauty and the Beast Vibes! 🥰🥰
After the death of his twin sister, Right became public enemy number 1 and completely shut down on all things life related. The media had their version of what really happened, while he kept the truth close to his heart in order to protect his sister even beyond the grave. As a result of the rumors floating around, Right’s football career ended and his disdain for life and people in general only deepened!
Nyah was a journalist assigned with the task of telling Rights story. She was journalist number three if I remember correctly assigned to this story and unlike the others, she was not going to let this Beast scare her away. She was ready to go toe to toe with him by any means necessary and that’s exactly what happened.
With much patience and dedication to her craft. Nyah slowly won over Right and once the truth was revealed her heart softened to him while certain parts of him hardened 😉.
This was a cute story about protecting those you love while also allowing those that truly love you to do the same! We love a good redemption story and Vibrations gave us all the redemptive feels 🥰🥰
Let me start by saying the narrators almost ruined the book for me. I had to stop listening and read the book myself. If that wasn’t clear…THEY WERE ÅWFỤL. In this story, we meet Right, an NFL player who’s grieving the death of a loved one. His reputation is a bit tainted because of the world’s assumption of him and his character. Then, in walks, Nyah, a journalist, hired to write a piece on Right to help restore his character. I loved Nyah with Right, especially after he told her his truth. She was kind and so gentle with him. She saw the real person behind the cold, harsh exterior that was Right. Them falling in love was inevitable. This story will tug at your heart cause it was sweet and redemptive. Definitely read the book, Don’t listen to it!!
KC Mills is so great at easy love stories! I really enjoyed this close proximity and grumpy hero love story. From the beginning of the story Nyah is thrown off trying to figure out Right, an ex-football player, as she is brought in to live with him, get to know him, and help clean up his image with a story. And whew they start off with an explosion in that house! lol, The journey of Right opening up and Nyah letting go of her judgments and truly getting to know him was beautiful. Even the way she defends Right at a pivotal moment in the book was amazing! Not to mention the steam between these two from all the built-up tension?? Spicy!! Loved every second! Two hands! IYKYK LOL! Overall this book was 4/4.5 for me! After the big reveal, I felt that the story didn't fall flat but I was wanting something different. I'm not sure but I will say the epilogue kind of erased that for me with a good wrap-up! Definitely recommend this book!
This was a really sweet story of redemption. I felt bad for Right and all he endured. He was basically black listed from the NFL and was painted as this awful person. Nyah came in and saw things from his perspective. She helped break down the barriers and ice around his heart, and subsequently became the missing piece he needed. It was such a fast paced journey but I enjoyed it all. There was a few errors but not too distracting.
Grumpy asshole v journalist. He was smitten first but he didn’t know how not to be an asshole. Quick story of truth that needed to be told and she was the one to do it. He’s not the villain everyone believes him to be. Her job is to tell the truth/story. They have nasty sex the good kind. This is a good story
I enjoyed this short story. It was an enemies to lovers book. Nyah is a journalist tasked with the all access privilege of writing an article about Right, a former NFL player who had a fall from grace due to the tragic death of his sister that he was blamed for. Nyah is supposed to spend time with him to get the real story of what happened. Both Nyah and Right worked my nerves in the beginning. They acted like stubborn rebellious teens instead of two adults. She was judgemental because she didn't have the facts only what was printed in the press. He was angry and reluctant to talk to her because he didn't trust the media to want to show the truth. Even though he kept it to himself and a few close friends for years. Once they put their reservations and judgement of each other to the side and started to get to know each other, things started to change. I really enjoyed their relationship progressing when they started acting like adults. Right was reluctant in the beginning, with good reason but once he let her in, he was all in when it came to developing feelings. Same for Nyah, once she learned the truth of what really happened to Rachael, she was determined to write an article, giving the truth, and removing the dark cloud that followed him. I loved the people in Right's circle. They really loved him and were protective of him. Chase, his personal assistant, Tegan, his chef, Aubrey, his former teammate and Shannon, Aubrey's wife supported him fully and were always in his corner. His parents, unfortunately were trash yet had the nerve to keep asking for money. We didn't get to see Nyah's parents but he did get her older sister, Nor'ree. She worked my nerves a bit. I have no problem with her being a protective big sister but she went overboard at times. Nyah is grown, her older sister being overbearing and over protective at times is not the moves when she isn't a child. Outside of minor grammatical errors. I really enjoyed this book. 4/5.

Another bullseye for K.C.! From the beginning I felt sad for Right, not yet knowing his story, because I felt that something huge happened! After learning of his loss, what the world thought of him, leaving all that money on the table, and walking away from the game; I was all in! Right Long, was angry and had secluded himself, after his world crumbled! His team knows that he needs to talk about what happened, and re-acclimate himself back into society. Miss Nyah, a journalist who is tasked with capturing Right's story, has no idea what she is walking into. She like the rest of the world, have judged Right and labeled him a monster, due to the information that was available. When Nyah enters Right's presence, he is a total asshole and ignores her for days! She is fed up and ready to give up on the story, until he drops a bombshell on her! Nyah is embarrassed for jumping to conclusions without the facts, and is determined to get to know the "real" Right. I admired the love Right had for his sister, and the lengths that he went to protect her! Once Nyah and and Right spend some time together, the sparks began to fly! Their connection was everything, and I loved every minute! Great job! 👍👍👍
I thoroughly enjoyed this book from beginning to ending. Yes both Nyah and Right worked my nerves in the beginning him more than her because he knew she was coming and what she was coming to do and he still acted like an asshole to her. She had her mind already made up because she believed what she had heard.
Right had a tight knit circle and the be inside knew and loved him. Enter Nyah; what his life had been missing. She made nothing easy for him and she forced him to open up and realize that letting someone else in was good for him.
Him giving her the folder shifted their situation and Nyah found her “in” by way of day drinking lol and then it begins. It was so cute to see their relationship develop, to see Right open up and smile and laugh with her made me happy. He needed that and he deserved that and I absolutely loved it.
Hmmm 🤔, not my favorite K.C. Mill read. However, I persevered through the ambiguity of Mr. Long😮💨‼️Initially, Righteous’ character was confusing, inconsistent & frequently contradicted himself until he had a vested interest (I suspect it was that brown liquid courage & the cat nip too😉) in Nyah 🥴🤭. ..and yet, women are typically accused of being indecisive🤷🏾♀️. Nevertheless, “Vibration (Late Nights & Early Mornings - Book 4)” was a mediocre read but got better toward the book’s ending. Nyah’s presence at Righteous’ domicile but specifically being in his personal space liberated him from the abrasive bravado and the reclusive lifestyle he’d conditioned himself (and staff) to live. Thankfully, the right ways: to live, laugh & love found him💕😊.
It is something I don't like about Kat. I didn't like his mama neither, she only cared his money. He didn't exploit Rachel like she said, he only stated facts about her drug use. Her fiance was exploiting her, making Right out to be the villain. Nyah was there to do an interview. In the beginning he wasn't hospitable. She changed everbody opinion about Right, including herself. He wasn't an a**hole like everyone thought. He was a protector. Aubrey was his good friend and his confidant when everyone in the league turned their back on him without knowing the whole story. Nor'ree was a mother figure and a big sister to Nyah.
This was the last book in the Late Night, Early Mornings series and it did NOT disappoint.
This story line gave me something like Beauty & the Beast but edgier. Everything about Right made me fall in love with him & I absolutely loved the role reversal. I think its many urban books that display the women standoffish & a lil cautious about welcoming a man in there space, so this was refreshing for me to read that it was the man closed off.
I was taken aback by the ending, but in a good way. I would deff be invested in a full length novel following up behind this one.
It’s hard doing things you don’t want to do but to also put your life on display after being in the dark for years? Hard! But with the right person Right was able to get through it; although he didn’t expect Ny to be that person. An unconventional way to start a relationship but do lasting!
This was truly and entirely too short. I needed more of Right than anything and possibly a little bit more of Nyah’s parents as we didn’t hear a peep out of them. Also where is this taking place in? But understand and knowing that this was a short story, I guess it gets a pass
Here Nyah was stuck with a complete stranger who was mean and secluded. Right used to be America's bad boy until that night. Night took the blame for his sister and decided to not speak a word until Nyah bought it out of him. Nyah and Right just fit so glad that they made it work and stayed together.
The story starts of with Nyah going to Rights house for a month to do an interview to fix his image. Right let rumors about him stay even though he could have cleared his name. Nyah believed those rumors but once Right proved her wrong she started to see him differently. Liquor & Right make a good combo 😏😏.
Right and Nyah make a great couple. Their relationship started off a bit rocky. Yet they both took chances and found a love worth fighting for. His parents were annoying and thank goodness they stayed away....gold diggers got on my nerves...over all a wonderful, short love story.
It is such a beautiful thing when a man can act on his feelings without feeling less than a man.. Right knew Ny was the one and he acted on it and never shyed from love.. this was a beautiful love story
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was a good read on showing how everything is not as it appears and how not to allow society to choose who they feel you are. I enjoyed the journey and also the strong relationships.
You have outdone yourself again. I never get the of reading your books. Sometimes when I know that the story is about to end ,I slow down to make it last longer. Thank you K.C. Mills
Good story! The growth of Right and the transition of him and NY was very entertaining. Losing someone you love is never easy. Accepting how you lost them is a daily struggle. No matter what, always control the narrative of your life. Nice heat.
This was a story on redemption. I'm glad Right opened himself up to Nyah. He definitely deserved all the love she had to offer. Really good well written live story.
I mean what could you not love at Right and Nyla’s story!!! I fell in love with these two! And the fact that their love story is relatable and beautifully written makes it even better. Must read!!!!
Awesome storyline with multidimensional characters. This story is emotional, loving, funny, sexy and thought provoking. My emotions were everywhere...loved it!! Does Chase have a story in the works? ❤️👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
