Partiamo con un messaggio ai naviganti: Goblin Slayer si è fatto una risata! Questa non è un'esercitazione, il nostro caro protagonista si è lasciato scappare una risata. Altro esempio del cambiamento, lento ma costante, che sta vivendo. Dopotutto è un anno che ha smesso di agire completamente da solo: intorno a lui, si è formato un gruppetto di persone che lo sostengono e che vogliono il suo bene, senza contare che ha imparato a rivolgersi agli altri avventurieri e a chiedere aiuto
Certo, è sempre fissato con i goblin, ma non si può avere tutto dalla vita, no? Chissà cosa ne sarà di lui, una volta portata a termine questa missione (sempre ammesso che sia possibile sterminare quelle cose schifose)? Sarà capace di avere una vita normale? Domanda difficile, la strada è ancora lunga.

Comunque sia, Goblin Slayer e compagnia - comprese le sue spasimanti, l'amica della fattoria e la receptionist della Gilda - sono in viaggio per partecipare a un matrimonio in terra elfica. Tutto sembra andare bene, le ragazze vanno d'amore e d'accordo, ma, ovviamente, i goblin faranno la loro comparsa. È evidente che quei mostriciattoli stiano diventano sempre più furbi e intraprendenti: molti li sottovalutano, e alla fine pagano un conto molto salato per questo errore di valutazione. La nostra band di disperati si trova in una situazione di svantaggio, finiti dritti dritti in una tana di goblin a cielo aperto. E niente, ora bisogna armarsi di pazienza...

After the slightly lighter tone last volume with details on food and the like. Volume 14 returns to Goblin Slayer's usual mood whiplash of fun and violence. The Training Arc wraps up very well with both Wizard Boy and Priestess getting some nice character development. We also start the Elven Village Arc, which while seemingly like it will be a fun time, quickly shows it will be anything but, with probably one of the most gruesome deaths in the series so far. Still, Goblin Slayer is a return to form after the strangest of the last volume.

This was a bit of a filler volume. I think I might be done with this series because I don't know where it's going. It now seems directionless.
