This is a short little erotica novella (about 50 pages) about Luke and Lucy whose parents just got married. They first meet at the wedding and before they find out they are step-siblings they start flirting and have an attraction towards each other. Once they find out they are now step-siblings they struggle with whether to act on it. Come to find out, they are neighbors too and didn’t know it (haha okay...) and when they see each other again they give in to their attraction for each other.

So this started out really hot! I loved it up to the point that after about 3 days of knowing each other Luke declares he’s in love with her and wants to marry her. This was just too much. I don’t need marriage and pregnancies in short erotica. Just sex. Lots of dirty kinky sex.

If it had stayed on track with the dirty talking sex and maybe a HFN ending rather than marriage I probably would’ve liked it more. It just makes it feel more unbelievable.

Also I found the dirty talk pretty hot, but there’s a lot of kinks going on here. I find the whole stepbrother kink mixed with the “call me daddy” kink kind of a strange combination? It’s kind of gotta be one or the other. I don’t really get them together.

Still pretty hot. Loved possessive Luke who knows what he wants. Love the dirty talk. Sex was pretty hot for being so short. Not bad at all!

P.S. I find it adorable that their names are Luke and Lucy! This is seriously too cute.

This was a really sweet and steamy read about a couple who meet when their parents marry. They’re attracted to one another before they realize they’re about to be step siblings and they have about 5 minutes worth in hesitation because they don’t want to hurt their parents, but in the end what they feel for each other is too strong to ignore.

While this is supposed to be a taboo forbidden romance, I don’t think it is. the MCs didn’t grow up with one another or ever have a step-sibling relationship dynamic, so I don’t think this qualifies as a forbidden romance. They meet as adults and strangers and fall in love, the fact their parents marry is incidental

Safe. Hero’s past isn’t mentioned at all. Heroine is a virgin and belongs only to her hero. No others, no cheating or abuse of any kind. HEA with epilogue

He gave off serious predator vibes! To avoid this kind n these short novellas WE NEED the H history. He is experienced yes but I NEED to know he has been celibate for a while or is not a complete hoe.

I ESPECIALLY NEED it when the h is a super innocent Virgin and the H is obsessed with her Virgin pusssy and her being untouched.

This is a short book LET US KNOW HE ISNT A HOE AND HAS BEEN CELIBATE or better yet MAKE HIM a VIRGIN TO!!!

This is a fantasy novella give us the fantasy.

On top of that he is an ass at first and then takes her V card in a way that seemed really crass and selfish.

The writing wasn't bad just not a resonating scenario. I get instalove isn't usually a plausible thing to begin with but the whiplash on shameless flirting to venom to his wall and the way that happened.... No. I was literally dropping my kindle to complain and shake my head every few sentences. The worst part- it was predictable. There are a few good moments in there and you can tell the author spent time reviewing it. Not sure I care to say more than if you are looking for a quick something steamy and don't mind the thesaurus usage then have at it. If you want a little more of a believable scenario with better care for the woman then choose something else.

Got this free from stuff your ears. I’m not a low ball reviewer. Even most books I don’t vibe with I will give a 3 star. If you just want something quick to help with your reading goal…. Well this was only an hour long and helped with it. The writing was cringe and you have suspend your belief HARD because they meet and are in love and getting married 24 hours later. The age gap is also just small enough to be kind of creepy??? 19 and 28.

Stepbrother Sleepover, Book 1 of the Sinful Stepbrothers trilogy, was about 19-year-old Lucy Shay, a teacher's aide/college student (and the youngest of the three sisters), and 28-year-old Luke Callahan, the owner of a tattoo parlor (and the middle sibling of the three brothers).
Luke and Lucy met for the first time at their parents' wedding reception. Luke, not knowing who she was, found himself quite enamored with her. When his new stepmother came over calling Lucy's name, it was at that moment when they both learned they were step-siblings. Although Lucy walked away that night, they learned later in the evening that they were neighbors when she showed up at the home he had just moved into in nothing more than her pajamas and a robe. Her electricity had gone out and her phone had died, so she was trying to find a way to contact the electric company. Before the night was over, they were in bed together.
While some readers would discount this story because of the fact these two were step-siblings, the facts that they weren't blood-related and that they didn't grow up together should be taken into consideration when reading this book. It's not like they were raised together as siblings. They had only just met AFTER their parents were married.
This was a fast-paced, smoking-hot novella that had only a tiny bit of angst and drama. While there were quite a few emotions to get the rollercoaster going, it wasn't overflowing with them. It seemed like the book was over before it even began. It was also poorly titled.
There were quite a few grammatical errors that were a bit of an irritant, and the characters lacked a bit of backstory. There wasn't enough of a storyline for the reader to sink their teeth into. It felt as if it was an incomplete book that got published too soon. At times there were new subjects introduced but then were never mentioned again.
The main characters were well-rounded and somewhat mature, but they weren't given enough story to have any growth. They met, they slept together, they confessed their feelings, the end. It was a "wham-bam-thank-you, ma'am" type of story, which was a bit disappointing as it had the potential to be so much more. I could only give it a three-star rating. Here's hoping the other two stories are a bit better.

Luke is suffering through this day all for his dad. And he does mean suffering because he hates to dress up, the tux is worse. Being an owner of a popular tattoo parlor, being dressed up calls for new designer black jeans, a button-down dress shirt, and a new pair of boots or a new pair of kicks. But, he was not suffering alone, his two brothers are here, too.

Although he really does think Charlie was born in a tux at the very least a suit. His oldest brother is the CEO of the biggest financial firm in the city. As he loves to lord over Luke and his younger brother, Noah. Luke is one foot tall than him in height, and he is bigger and sturdier. Noah on the other hand is the shortest of, the three, but is still tall. And, he is the youngest of, us three brothers, and while he's the biggest and more muscular. Which is good for his career doing private security.

The boys are happy for their dad. He has been single for a long time. But, when he knew, he knew when it came to, Karen. Luke thinks she is very nice, he knows she has three daughters. But, he also knows they better not expect, a Brady Bunch picture moments. See how this tattooed man finds the woman of, his dreams, and in the next, the carpet is pulled out from under him. Can he make her fall as fast and hard as him? Good OTT Daddy book.

This short novelle is about Luke and Lucy. They meet at their parent’s wedding, before being introduced as new stepsiblings. They were already attracted to each other. Although stepsiblings is a taboo romance, in this case they are really strangers who meet and fall in love/lust the same as any other two strangers may. In the end, even their parents support the relationship. Lucy comes across as a quiet demur woman, and still a virgin at 19. Luke is a tamed bad boy. He rides a motorcycle and owns his own tattoo parlor. He knows what he wants and does not hesitate to take it. Causing a scene is not an obstacle for Luke. There are a couple of hot scenes. Talk of love, marriage, and babies is too soon, but that is my opinion. Not a fan of the “call me daddy”, but it works in the story.
Good job with narration.

The ending was okay and actually not so bad BECAUSE the male lead ACTUALLY waited and respected his wife’s wishes to wait before having kids(or shall I say step-wife?).

I also like the fact that she at least tried to resist her stepbrother and had sense about their taboo relationship but MY BOY LUKE was NOT having it.

Lastly, the parents are idk the best or worst to just be accepting of the fact that their children are all well with each other. But hey if they’re all happy who am I to judge because I liked the first chapter of this book, because I LOVE it when a girl is as sassy as the man.

Listen.... this story takes place over like 4 days (I genuinely think it's 3, but I'm being generous here) and he doesn't even know her! Seriously, what does he (or we, the readers even) know about Lucy? She's 19, has two older sisters, is in school to be a teacher, and works as a teacher's aide. Oh, she has a secret tattoo from her rebellious phase. THAT'S IT!
Like, by day 3 he's possessive in a massively RED FLAG (abusive) way (which I wouldn't note if this was a Dark romance, but it's a sweet insta-love novella).
Anyway, there's also some Daddy stuff thrown out in the midst of him taking her virginity.
Lastly, I don't recommend the audiobook version...

I'm a big fan of taboo romances, especially when it is between step-siblings. I know, I know, what kind of a woman am I? But it's all in good fun. This is my first read by Emma Bray and I simply adored it. Even though it is short, the characters, plot, and romance are all fully developed. The writing is blistering hot yet take that away, and it is a well-written romance. I connected with the characters and rooted for them to get together. If you love erotic romance, pick this up right now!
