Saw a reel with a pretty hot scene from this book and impulsively decided to read it for that one scene .was the scene as hot as it seemed ? oh yeah

since its uncompleted and we havent rlly gotten anywhere in this webtoon im not gonna rate it or rlly review it , but I am gonna say :
A bad boy with dark hair ,piercings, a kind heart and hot mouth like Gyeoul is always gonna be my no1 ship in a book

Oh and also , its not just me who's getting the whole something terrible is gonna happen vibes , is it?

6-mafia (I swear I didn’t think I needed that but..)✔️

This book scares me. My delusional ass thought this was going to be a hot romance graphic novel, but boy was i SO WRONG. Thrillers aren’t my thing, I’m a major scaredy cat, so this made me scared the whole time 😭😭 BUT surprisingly, this was SO GOOD. The main plot twist SHOCKED me to my CORE, I was never the same afterwards, and I stopped trusting what seemed like cute romance graphic novel covers. The thrilling and mysterious aspects added some sort of a multiverse to the story & took the story to a whole new level. Even though my heart was lowkey racing (it’s honestly not that scary, it’s more mellow and sad), it surprisingly made me enjoy the graphic novel even more. In retrospect, why the hell did I completely ignore the title? I should have known. Even the cover on Goodreads scares so much, it’s giving creepy vibes, even though it’s not. This was so good though, highly recommend!!

Realmente me gustó, no pude tocar un libro en semanas y dios, extraña leer

El prota es extremadamente atractivo y a la vez misterioso, estoy algo confundida pero me gusta.

La prota es muy... directa pero a la vez no tanto, me agrada mucho su actitud.

Me gusta la historia, es muy confusa y a la vez sentis que tenes la respuesta de todo, pero no estas segura, me agrada.

Well I have to admit, mr Gyeol is pretty handsome flirty boi mc gee even tho he hangs with the wrong people who are known to bully poor Ji-o's brother. It's pretty sad that he tried to attempt suicide and with Ji-o saving him breaking her leg. Although the Webtoon could only supply 10 free chapters, I really think that the brother should be more a part of the story because there are ppl out there who would go through the same experience as him. I know this is suppose to be all about the romance but a little realism here wouldn't harm a fly...

The art is good enough with showing many Gyeol poses, I'm not surprised if he had a established fan club cause some like bad boys right?! xD

Yes even though this story has dark undertones, it's a pretty decent read like most of the characters are pretty interesting and decent to follow through.

Oh mein Gott! Das war so ein toller Manhwa! Eine Freundin hat den Titel vorgelesen und ich war so, 'oh my god show me' und dann habe ich den Klappentext gelesen.
'Aufstrebender Stern am Taekwondo-Himmel' - diese Phrase hat mich dann vollends überzeugt.
Auch wenn nur wenig Taekwondo-Aspekt vorhanden war, war es einfach nur toll.

DNF chapitre 33

Le début de l’histoire est sympa mais le reste est vraiment nul.
Les choses qui m’ont fait abandonner ce webtoon c’est le fait que les perso ne se côtoient plus pendant 10 ans ou un truc comme ça, personnellement je trouve ça trop long et je ne peux pas me voir le ML en peinture même si son personnage est ultra bien dessiné sa personnalité gâche tout. 🙃

Ji-o’s world turns upside down when an injury crushes her dreams of making the national taekwondo team. In what feels like the darkest chapter of her life, she crosses paths with Gyeol, a mysterious boy who leaves an indelible mark on her heart.

While the series delivers a compelling storyline, the predictable ending could have been avoided if the main characters had acted more wisely and refrained from meddling in situations beyond their control. The narrative frequently emphasizes that fate is inevitable, but the climax feels like a deliberate choice to walk into danger rather than a twist of destiny.

That being said, the emotional moments still hit hard. I found myself on the verge of tears, especially when Gyeol chooses to keep living despite his overwhelming loneliness. It’s a powerful reminder that while many of us derive our sense of purpose from the people around us, we must also learn to value ourselves. Even when we have no one, we still have ourselves and that, in itself, is enough to keep moving forward.

I think this series (which I completed in a couple of days) is compelling. The two stars deducted is because of the themes that I don’t personally like: fated love. I personally think the idea of fated love borders to codependency, which is problematic. I think this is why I think the most beautifully painful stories are about moving on, realizing you have outgrown a relationship or a diverging path. I am all for romance, but I think the most romantic thing is a love that is the healthiest choice. I shall now listen to Hyolyn’s Dally for the rest of the day.

male MCs in manga/ manhwa with dark hair and piercings will always have a special place in my heart lol. well, he’s flirty and totally not honest about himself but being a lovable red flag character for me, unbelievably. the female MC is strong and i’m already falling for both of the MCs. let’s see how it will go in the next chapters. 🤗

This was a masterpiece. Reminds me of another webcomic, Muse on Fame. The female gaze and the intimacy between our 2 main characters was amazing. I also loved how all the side characters had their respective flaws & strengths which made them a critical part of the story.

Por fin, después de haber empezado esta historia cuando sólo tenía como 35ish capítulos, puedo decir que por fin se terminó lo que se daba 🙌. Este webtoon tuvo sus altibajos: arrancó medio lento, después del time skip remontó una banda, para el capítulo 70 se puso medio aburrido pero después con el final volvió a remontar. Tengo que el final me dejó un poquito triste jssjsj lo cual no esperaba en absoluto, pero eso sólo me hizo disfrutar la historia un poco más. No suelo leer side-stories, pero si la autora se digna a sacar, las voy a leer como si mi vida dependiera de eso ssjsjs because i need MOAR.
