Second chances are sometime the only one we get when it comes to love Kira and Tristan met knowing they are mates but he rejected here when she got pregnant, he basically said he doesn’t have time because he was trying to find an ancient legend so she follow his advice she left moved to the city to raise her boy while suppressing her dragon and that is how things would have stayed had her father not taken ill now she is headed home to care for him and no doubt will have to face Tristan. But along the way she meets Gordy fast becoming friends with him and the support he offers to her with her father and her boy and Tristan finely sees her knowing he has a son that doesn’t know him ultimately bothers him not that Kira cares at this point. Because the two of them are mates nothing will squelch the desire, but that desire can be ignored just as she has ignored it for the past five years and your mate’s actions can cause your animal to go into hiding not wanting to come out of for fear of rejection. Tristan wants to know his son, wants to teach him the stories, how to fly but his mom does not trust him and do not really want him around her son all in the name of keeping him safe but will she give him a chance to love her, will she give him a chance to be a dad, will she forgive him, where does Gordy fit into this picture, and will they find happiness through the second chance fate gave them?.

Kira left home and most of her family after things went south with her mate. She denied her dragon to live in the city and raise her son. She stayed away for five years before her father's ill health calls her home. She is conflicted about returning home. She doesn't want Tristan, her mate to find out about his son and she doesn't want her son to find out about his father. Kira is also worried about Gordy, Tristan's best friend. He was always kind to her but sided with Tristan when things went south.
Tristan blamed Kira for leaving even though he was the one to chase her away. But his obsession for finding the truth out of a local legend is what drove them apart. He blamed her for not believing him and only got worse in the five years that she was gone. He believes he is close to finding the truth.
Gordy is slowly realizing the that Tristan is close losing everything again. He knows about their son. In truth he has always loved Kira also. This time around he is going to let her know before she leaves town again.
Will Kira leave and take her son with her never to be seen again or will she stay and make things work with Tristan or will she fall for Gordy? Read and find out what happens.

Terrible Parents . . .

When Kira has to go back to her home town because her dad needs her, she will have to see Tristan again. He is her dragon shifter mate and had rejected her when she was pregnant because he didn’t have time to deal with it! (He has the easy part!) Feeling he has no right to see his son Deke, for some insane reason, her feelings for him come back and she wants Tristan back! He behaves horribly with his son, puts him in danger, tries to turn him against his mother, and I was appalled by his ignorant actions! But it seems to be no big deal to Kira who readily forgives him so she can take the two adults into a harem situation! I see absolutely no maternal caring coming from her. No, these behaviors are not acceptable to this reader.

She also comes in contact with Tristan’s best friend, Gordy. He is attractive and is kind to her. And she decides she wants him too. She wonders if she can accept an enemy becoming her lover? And can she have both dragons?

I have always loved dragons, but not these characters! They are so disappointing! Kira has very little motherly instinct. Her own selfish wants seem to make her forget who is supposed to be first in her life. So I can’t share her joy at the harem she gathers for herself. And Tristan is even more self-centered than Kira!

This is a Dragon shifter romance story.

Kira is heading home, somewhere she doesn't want to be but her father is sick and she's going home to help him. She left 5 years ago when her mate, Tristan, rejected her after finding out she was pregnant, he thought a baby would distract him from his goals.
Gordy was friends with Kira and Tristan and had feelings for Kira but backed off when she got together with Tristan. But will Kira be able to recognise the feelings he has for her now she's back.
Kira still hates Tristan and is determined her son will not have anything to do with him or his Dragon side.
It seems Tristans obsession has gotten worse in the 5 years she's been away and this ends up putting everyone in danger.
Will Tristan realise his mistake before it's too late, will Kira be able to forgive him and what will she do when she realises he has feelings for more than one man in her life.

I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend reading it.

Kira (h) fled her dragon shifter mate, Tristan (H), after growing tired of his obsession with dragon shifter lore caused him to view her and their unborn child as a distraction. Five years later and she's returned with their son, Deke, to care for her ailing father. Gordy (H) was the other part of their trio growing up in the town of dragon shifters and always held back on expressing his true feelings for Kira. They have to learn to embrace their relationships with one another and ultimately work together to ensure the safety of the town. For me, the romantic relationship between Kira and Gordy was much stronger than with Tristan, and the menage aspect didn't seem like it kicked in until the end. I think I would have preferred Kira and Gordy to be together and just let Tristan work on his relationship with Deke - this is in part because I really didn't like Tristan, especially his actions with his son.

This book is about Kira, Tristan and Gordy. Kira and Tristan were mates. But Tristan is obsessed about finding an ancient legend. A dragon who has found immortality. When Kira tells him she is pregnant he tells her that he doesn’t have time. And that she should leave. So she has been living in the city and suppressing her inner dragon and raising her son, Deke. When her father becomes ill she and Deke return to care for him. When Gordy finds them at the diner he offers friendship and support. And Tristan is as obsessed as ever. This story is full of action, angst and surprises. I like that the Kira is also a dragon and that she is strong in her own right. But can she let the past arguments go? Can Tristan ever accept that he is the reason she left? Will Gordy finally tell Kira how he feels? I did receive an advance copy for my honest review.

I'm all about a powerful FMC, and Kira is a dragon, woohoo! Tristan is Kira's mate, but he's very obsessed about finding an ancient legend. Which is about a dragon who has found immortality. When Kira becomes pregnant, Tristan tells her that he doesn't have time for that, and tells her to leave.

She leaves,and lives in the city with her son Deke, and is suppressing her inner dragon. Kira's father falls ill, so she returns back home to take care of her dad. She isn't thrilled about returning home, after what Tristan did and his best friend Gordy always sided with Tristan.

It's a story filled with plenty of angst, and really a lot of amazing moments. Plenty of WTF moments too. Awesome read all about Dragons!.

Kira left town when she was pregnant because her mate rejected her and the baby. Now she is returning because her father is sick. She runs into Gordy at a local diner that she stops at so she could feed her son before going to her father's place. Gordy is shocked by how much Deke looks like Tristan. He goes to see Tristan after seeing Kira and let's him know she is back. Tristan is still obsessed with the legend that ended their relationship. Sparks fly between Kira and Gordy and its not long before things heat up between them. Tristan wants her back but will he do so on her terms? Can the three of them find a way to be together?

This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book for any book lover to enjoy.

Then this is your book.
A really good story goes along with all those points which doesn't always happen. However Lilly certainly knows how to tell a story and is very experienced in doing so.
This book is over 18's only as the steam is hot and very well written. Do not give this book to an elderly relative unless you want to see them into an early grave!
So well written, I never give spoilers so you will have to read this one for yourself. but trust me the men are great alpha's and the female lead can certainly speak her mind!
Not overly long but packs a punch with the story line.
If this is your genre (actually even if it isn't) it is well worth the read.

Kiri has returned to her home with her son Deke when her father is ill. The first person she sees is Gordy who was her best friend. He recognizes that Deke is Tristens son. Kiri has chosen not to tell Deke he is a dragon and that Tristen is his father. This action creates tension between Kiri and Tristen. Kiri struggles with her decisions that she makes in regards to her son and the feelings that keep coming up when she sees Tristen and Gordy. This book is full of conflict and choices that have Kiri coming to grips with the knowledge that being a dragon is wonderful and that she deserves to be happy too.

Kira in town to assist her father during a decline in health , must face this past as well as find a way forward when her son Deke starts showing his dragon shifter abilities are close to coming out. The legend of Black Fang tore them all apart years before and now it’s possible that he will demand the unthinkable to give Tristan the immortality he desires. Wonderful story. Kira gets pregnant from Tristan her mate but he rejects her. Kira leaves her home. She returns home to care for her father who is dying. Kira brings her son home and now Tristan wants to get to know him. (Fat chance) She and Gordy, Tristan and Kira's friend, has been in love with Kira. I loved the storyline and the characters were really great together. I loved how Gordy helps bring everyone together. It was dangerous only because of Tristan. This has drama, suspense, and romance. (I still think Tristan was an idiot).

Kira is only returning home to take care of her sick father. She left five years ago following a huge fight with her mate, Tristan, after finding out she was pregnant and has been living without her dragon. He chose his obsession with finding a legend over her. Now Kira is back and wants nothing to do with him, although she does enjoy reconnecting with Gordy, an old friend of both. I liked Gordy a lot and he and Kira were sweet together. Tristan was mostly just a jerk and I don’t really understand why anyone would forgive him. That being said, I did enjoy the story overall.

So Tristan is a complete ass! Let’s get that out there first. Kira returns home with her young son as her dad is sick. Gordy is in love with her ( always has been), Kira has been hiding her true self and Tristan is bordering on crazy. What could possibly go wrong?
I loved the description of the dragon shifting, it was so well written, you could picture it all so clearly.
Loved this story, I could so easily see this become a film.

Kira returns home to look after her sick father and has to deal with her son's father.
When Dragon shifter Kira had found she was pregnant she told her boyfriend Fellow dragon shifter Tristan then they had a row and he told her to leave. Five years later her father is ill and she and her son come home but her son Deke nows nothing about Dragons. Tristan want to know hos son and teach him the anceint stories and to teach him how to fly but Kira does not trust him to keep Deke safe.

Kira is sent away from her home when she becomes pregnant by her mate. When she returns home to care for her dying father, she rekindles a friendship with one man, becomes wary of her former mate because of his erratic behavior and tries to come to grip with explaining what they are to her young son. Interesting read in that each chapter is told from a main characters POV, especially Tristan’s and his bizarre thoughts.

This is a second chance story that i feel should not have gotten a second chance. Tristan rejected Kira and their child after she didn't agree with him finding the mysterious Black Dragon. Tristan spent all of the time looking for this dragon and sent them away. Now all of a sudden he wants a son he has never laid eyes on or wanted. I couldn't stand Tristan at all. Gordy and Kira are good together. I read an arc of this book and this is my review.

Can Kira Forget Her Past With Tristan & Gordy?

This was an enjoyable dragon romance. Kira, Tristan & Gordy's tale was one rollercoaster ride with lots of emotional ups & downs. Tristan rejected Kira in the past so she left & has stayed away for 5 years. She has only returned due to her father's ill health & coming back brought back feelings that Kira has suppressed. Running into Gordy as well has left her feeling conflicted. Can their past truly be left behind for a chance at a HEA?.

I loved reading this book and was able to finish it in a day. I have to that in reading this book, I was expecting a very different ending. (Without giving away any spoilers.)I know this book is called Menage second chance but the way the story was heading, the ending felt forced and out of place. Lengthing the book to show more of the personal struggle and indecision would have made the final plot flow better with the story. My only reason for four stars.

Kira has denied her dragon for 5 years but circumstances bring her to accept and embrace her heritage. Soon there is a battle and Tristan has to decide, does he want his family or does he continue to follow the Legend. An exciting book that will have you turning the pages.

After being rejected by her mate, Kira leaves to raise her son on her own. Having to return to take care of her father, Kira wants nothing to do with Tristan. This story was a slow build. To put it mildly Tristan was off his rocker with his obsession with finding Black Fang. Love how finally everything and everyone comes together.

Ends in a HEA, but definitely not your typical MFM book. On one hand, loved the FMC, her kid, and the non-ex MMC. Together, they were a supportive and adorable family. However, IMHO the ex-BF MMC needed A LOT more groveling and sustained positive actions before I could forgive him. He was a gaslighting narcissist for 90% of the book and then everyone just goes along with his change of heart. This is a multiple POV work, so reading his perspective was fascinating but also infuriating.

I couldn’t finish

The writing was okay but it was the plot I couldn’t finish.

Tristan was not a character I liked and the things he did not once but twice was beyond redemption for me.

Gordy and Kira were perfect for each other. He was the mate she needed all along.

A m/f than m/f/m dragon shifter paranormal romance. Some heat but not extremely detailed. Battles and found family. This rejected mate, second chance romance was just not my cup of tea.

This just my kinda story I guess. The mains seems to hate each other until the last two chapters and then it was all rainbows and puppies. It just seemed like they’re was a lot missing. This was my first from this author and I don’t know if I’ll look into her other books. The writing itself was very good.
