Sakkar
Memories of betrayal flooded my mind with glimpses of a past I didn’t recall living. I had wronged so many, not just my clan but all of Valose. I was not worthy to walk among them. Not worthy of the female who had breathed life into my ancillary heart.

It was just as well. My spirit mate cared not for me. Her downcast gaze, always on her feet or the male with whom she had returned. A male from beyond the stars, and a sworn enemy of Valose.
I was determined to redeem myself. To prove that I was worthy of the crown I was bequeathed and return to my rightful place as ruler of Clan Huren. Perhaps, if I was to shed this mantle of disgrace, I would be worthy of her regard.

Layla
I was broken in more ways than one. Shame kept my eyes pinned to the ground. Humiliation over who I had once been haunted me. Captivity had a way of putting things in a new perspective. Now that I had seen myself for what I once was, forgiveness felt beyond my reach.

Then there was the issue of the male who dogged my heels. A regal male for whom I had endangered other girls to reach. My sense of entitlement had blinded me to everything except my own desires. Now that I had been rescued and returned to the ones I had betrayed, how could I ever look them in the eyes, or feel worthy of the male who followed?

Author Note: The Warriors of Valose Saga is meant to be read in order. Each book does have a HEA. However, this is a saga and titled accordingly because the story takes place over a lengthy period of time.

it was good

I feel like Layla would have benefited far more from someone who had different experiences to help her continue the growth. It was too convenient and contrived for my liking.

This book was brilliant about two people trying to atone for their mistakes but not realizing everyone had forgiven them but they need to forgive themselves. Layla is one of the females kidnapped from earth by the Gretolics but end up crash landing on the planet Valose where they are saved but huge silver alien men who keep them safe but Layla learns that In the city of Huren is where the rich live and being a spoiled rich girl back on earth she wishes to go there than living in the dirt and Rayner offers her the chance and she sets him free but it all goes horribly wrong and other girls are caught by the evil aliens that kidnapped them but she escapes. Sakkar use to be the Sia of Clan Huren but when the Gretolics use there mind control on him he kicks his twin brother out along with his loyal men but it isn’t long before he realizes what a huge mistake he has made and how he put his people in danger and got them killed or taken to be sold off. But when they are saved he meets Layla who makes his second heart beat and knows she is his fated mate but doesn’t act on it because he doesn’t feel worthy of her. Layla is so attracted to Sakkar but keeps her distance because the other girls that have mates tell her how the males react to there mates and Sakkar has never been like that with her but she knows he is interested in her by the way he is around her but she hopes for more. Layla was saved with Vala a Yulineon alien who came with others to kill the human females but after she kept him safe they become close friends. Now Vala’s people are back to take care of the human females and that means war between them and when Layla is taken by one of the Yulineon while out scouting with Sakkar and they complete the bond between them but now Sakkar and Vala will do anything to save her but it means going into the mothership. What happens next can Sakkar trust Vala to help him save his mate or does there mission fail and she is lost forever. Fantastic book

This book was written from a dual perspective, switching back-and-forth between the main male and female characters. Written in first person by Iona Strom, SILVER STEALTH is the 10th book in Warriors of Valose Saga, and follows the Valosian alien Sia Sakkar of Clan Huren and his human mate Layla.

Valosians resembled elves in human folklore, with long white hair and pointed pronounced ears, but with fangs and camouflaged scales instead of skin.

Not gonna lie, I was a little disappointed in this one. For starters, Layla should have been mated to the Yulineon Vala, and not the old Sia Sakkar. For two, this book is about a rich spoiled human girl who betrayed her own kind, and a rich spoiled Valosian King who also betrayed his own kind, being each other's soul mates. Theoretically, the two are perfect for each other. Realistically, neither deserved the other. Sakkar was worthy of forgiveness because he was being mind controlled when he betrayed his people. Layla however, had no excuse. The other human females forgave her way too easily in my opinion. I understand that both felt guilty, both had changed since the betrayal, both felt like they had to atone for their actions, and neither felt worthy of the other. But hey, if you want to read a book that's full of self pity, this is definitely the book for you. Ick. And for three, it seems like every main Valosian character becomes a Sia. How many Kings of a tribe can you have? Too many imho.

Every book is the same story told over and over again, just with different characters. Boy meets girl, boy becomes awakened, one or both have some issue with the mating that keeps it from happening right away, there's crazy adventure with a lot of coincidental instances that just so happens to save their lives, one or both become injured, whoever was adamant about not mating opens their eyes and realizes they can't live without the other, they FINALLY have sex and their spirits coalesce, a gasp worthy cliffhanger leads into the next couple of the next book, and they live happily ever after. The amount of crap you have to read through before you are blessed with an actual mating just keeps growing. And if you have the mental capacity to keep up with the war behind the scenes, you're doing better than most. Truth be told, the plot has become too convoluted, making it too confusing and difficult to follow at points. Everything is so cookie cutter and predictable, that I can safety copy and paste this review for each and every book in the series.

Ugh. It sucks that I still enjoy the read regardless.

I guess this series is worth the time if this genre of books is in your wheelhouse. It has the perfect balance of adventure and romance so long as you are able to follow the confusing plot line. I can't wait to dive into the next book in the series, mainly so I can finish it and move onto the next one. The first book or two in the series was okay, but all the ones that followed have been mediocre at best.

4&1\2 terrific 🌟s for Silver Stealth💖🔥💖

Once again Another solid entry into a great series. Things are coming to a head on Valose. Outsider now what to take their human females away from them because they were stolen from their planet. If their taken they'll be out to death. Sakkar feels he has much to make up for because of his forced involvement with the aliens that tried to enslave his planet. He works hard to earn their respect and forgiveness and doesn't feel worthy of a mate even though his second heard beats for one. Layla also feels she has much to atone for. She was a petty snob who treated the o the girls like craps until she was taken by the insect like aliens and kept as a prisoner. She doesn't think she'll ever be worthy of the one male she can't seem to forget or stay away from. Sakkar and Layla have a lot of guilt and baggage to wade through. Both want and need forgiveness from their friends , but most of all they want acceptance and love. They find this together as they realize that together they are strong and can be the safe harbor they both need . Awesome entry to the series and I look forward to more🔥💖🔥💖🔥🔥💖💖🔥🔥💖💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥🔥💖💖🔥🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥🔥

If I've said it once, I'll say it again. No one can pen an exciting sci-fi romance quite like Ms. Strom. I absolutely love the whole series, but Silver Stealth is my favorite by far. I'm always the one rooting for the underdogs and Sakkar and Layla foot the bill...

Betrayal, shame and suspicion does not a match make. In fact, these two characters weren't very likable in the previous books. With that said, Layla and Sakkar were a match made on Valose. Desperate to redeem themselves from their past, they embark on a dangerous journey to prove their loyalty. When a war breaks out, will they make it in time? Or will unknow forces get in their way?

Silver Stealth is a must read if you love a romantic suspense with tons of action!

I've said it before, but this series just gets better and better.

I'm so happy Layla got her HEA, I've been hoping she would, despite her bratty, self-serving attitude. Yes, she's behaved atrociously and had a tough run, but whose to say how any of us would react after being kidnapped by creepy aliens, then crash landing on a distant planet, before being hunted by massive beetles. Same goes for Sakkar who appeared to have betrayed his people to gain power.

Two lost souls who somehow connect and become each other's redemption.

Fast paced, riveting and occasionally hair-raising story line, along with delicious romance.. what's not to love!

Highly recommended, but please be aware... this is a saga and the books must be read in order.

This may be my favorite of the series so far. The two main characters have been in the series but haven’t always been the nicest of characters. When Layla was on earth she was the snobby spoiled rich kid. And she hasn’t made the best decisions in the past, especially on this alien planet. Sakkar has a more deeply pained past. The story takes what we knew from the series and really goes in-depth on these two characters. I think you will grow to love them. The story brings even more danger from space as the human women and the natives try to save the planet and make a new future for themselves.

Redemption

Sakkar and Layla both feel like they betrayed their people and dance around their mutual attraction. Sakkar doesn’t feel like he deserves a mate and neither does Layla. They make the perfect pair. Fortunately for them, attacking invaders give them a chance to forgive themselves and move forward. I love this world and the characters. Something is always going on and the action and steamy are engrossing. Looking forward to the next couple!

I love this series! Layla and Sakkar’s story was fantastic! Sakkar and Layla are deeply pained from their pasts and want to prove how much they’ve changed. You can’t help but come to love both of them. This story like the rest of the books in this series was full of action, danger, suspense and romance. I loved it! I can’t wait for Silver Sidhe to find out what happens next!

This continuing saga/story arc is really good. Some couples I like more than others but the overall story keeps me coming back for more. The redemption theme for Sakkar and Layla was good. Like all of the books I wish they were longer, more drawn out, and more detailed. Still enjoyed it though.

Sakkar is working very hard to make up for his past and he is besotted with Layla who is still recovering from her capture and is also trying to become better. Having read the previous book I understand Layla becoming her better self.

Sakkar and Layla

Both broken people caught up I their own vanity and self importance. They have to actually go through hell to find d their own redemption. They needed forgiveness but not from others but from themselves.
Excellent story of healing, forgiveness and love.

Very enjoyable & Intense

I didn't want to like the two main characters in this book, in the end I liked them very much. The story continues to get better with each new book. The romance is still hot, emotional & endearing. Can't wait to see where we go next.

Good read

Keep a box of tissues handy! This book is about friendship and love. Layla had a lot to make up for. Sakkar did as well. Vala made up to both, well all of them. Enjoy

I enjoyed seeing Layla humbled but it was an OK story. I just didn’t feel a whole lot of sympathy for her overall.
