This is the first book I have read by V.B. Emanuele and it won’t be my last. I could not get enough of Vincenzo and Elizabeth, I absolutely devoured this book!
What to expect.

Elizabeth is on summer vacation from college and as punishment for her actions at school she has to work for her father all summer. Vincenzo has just been released from a 5 year prison sentence and hasn’t seen Elizabeth for that long. He comes over to dinner one night to catch up with his best friend (Elizabeth’s dad) and her mom offers Elizabeth to help Vincenzo get his house in order after being away for so long.
Elizabeth and Vincenzo’s chemistry is so hot, I just love them. There was a plot twist I did not see coming and the ending while not a cliffhanger still left you wanting more! This book was overall well planned and well written. I hope we get to see more of Elizabeth and Vincenzo. And maybe we will see a certain will get a book soon!

I have never wished my dad had hot friends until now. V.B Emanuele is back with another spicy read and readers are thrown right into the story with drama, mystery, and all the spice.
Elizabeth is so relatable in wanting to make her family proud and not wanting to waste time on the immature guys her age. Tough and gritty, she’s a real go-getter who definitely isn’t shy about telling people what she wants. Vincenzo is that mysterious and dark hottie that is here for a good time. Fiercely protective of his loved ones and trying to fight the temptation of giving into Elizabeth only made me love him more. With all the spicy goodness you could crave, Tryst was a perfectly balanced dual-pov dark romance with a solid plot, character development, and tension. This cast of characters is lovable and leaves just enough potential for revisiting from other points of view and I’m voting for a few follow-ups.

This was so very hot, top shelf smut right there
I like mafia romance, in moderation, and this one was a good one because even though the MMC is a mafia boss the main plot is around the romance the age gab and the dad's best friend.
I do love to read a good age gab romance.
So as I said mafia is a part of the book, and there is scenes of assault, torture and murder, (they're short though) but there was a little detail that made me mad and I am gonna address this straight with the character.
"Vincenzo you know you can be a mafia boss and still care for the planet, right? Smoking is bad enough, but you don't throw the cigarette to the ocean, ok? "
Sorry for the interruption.
So other than that little detail that made me stop reading and yell, WHAT THE HELL! I loved this, an amazing read I absolutely recommend to every romance and smut lover
And I need to read more about the side characters so I am praying for a 2nd book.
I don't know who I want to read about more than the others, Lucas? maddie? Mr DILF? Maybe two in one? or Antonio and Dimitri?

As always the author delivers a hot book. This book has drama, kinks, love and secrets. Its a story about a girl learning to not live under her daddy's hand, while crushing on his best friend. It's an age gap but I don't feel it's disrespectful. As always love the book V.B Emanuele delivers..a must read

This was my first book by V. B. Emanuele, but will not be my last! From the very opening line this book held me mesmerized by the chemistry between Eliza and Vincenzo! Age-gap is my favorite trope, but this novel knocked it out of the park with sultry, spicy scenes and an unforgettable all-star cast!
Vincenzo is classy, sophisticated, and quietly dangerous as a mafia boss and longtime friend of Eliza's father. Eliza is a sassy college student who knows what she wants, but has a profound love for her family and feels the need to make them proud. I liked how much growth and change Eliza experienced throughout the book, and I liked the evolution of Vinny's feelings for her very much. I immensely enjoyed how protective Vinny was of Eliza, and how he relished dealing with the professor. Other times, I laughed out loud ("so much drama to choose from"), was almost moved to tears, and had to turn my AC back on for some of the steamiest encounters. Every character was believable, and I loved hating Eliza's morally-bankrupt mother character. However, like many other reviewers have noted, I ADORED the dynamic between Maddie and Eliza's DILF Dad and join the chorus demanding another book with their story!
Overall, this is the best age-gap romance I have read. Kudos to Ms. Emanuele - you wrote an all-star cast with off-the-charts spice and a plot with real heart. What an unforgettable book.

This is my first V.B. Emanuele book I've read, and now I need to go devour all of her other books! 🥵 This book has so much spice I literally felt like I was on fire while reading it. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about the age gap trope but dang, I am here for it!! The chemistry between Elizabeth and Vincenzo is just *chef's kiss*. I need more Vinny in my life! I can't wait to read more.

This book changed the way I see age gap romance. It was my first and I was hooked from the first sentence.
Vinny is the definition of sexy, protective and a calm and chill mafia boss. He isn't overly dramatic and over the top like so many books I've read but don't be fooled by his collected mind. The man is ticking time bomb. The way he handled the professor made me cheer. I liked that he tried hard to resist Elizabeth but failed. It made me really comfortable he went away and came back to a grown woman and mentioned he wouldn't have been able to do it if he watched her grow up. I think that's just my personal preference for it because it worked well for their dynamic.
Eliza is just perfect. She loves her family and doesn't want to disappoint her parents but Vinny is so irresistible. I get it. The girl might be in her early 20s and likes having fun but she's mature and grows so much throughout the story. The bond she has with her father and brother are really sweet. Her mom is a terrible person and I like how the author didn't make the book characters perfect and there were flaws like real life families.
Lucas is just everything and I love how funny he is. He made me laugh and I love how much he loved his sis. James. GOD YES! I know people have been saying they want a book 2 and him and Maddie to get together and I agree! Please give us a book 2 with Daddy and Maddie.

Wow this is giving me “Birthday Girl” vibes but with a Mafia Romance. If you love over protective vibes you will swoon for this one. Super steamy scenes! Off limit romance that goes from 0-100 real quick. Well written and I couldn’t put this down! I read it in two days. Honestly a pleasure to read and you won’t be disappointed if you give it a go.

Well heeeeelllllooo Vinny.
Now, I have never been one to love the age gap, romance, trope. But, after reading this story, I feel like it unlocked something for me. Every time I read one of V.B Emanuele’s stories, I always discover something new that I like.
So Vinny and Eliza definitely have an unconventional start to their relationship. He’s her dad’s best friend and she’s his best friends, daughter. She was just a teenager when he left but as he came back, she grew into a woman. He suddenly had a rush of desire for. Eliza always had a crush on Vinny growing up, so when her fantasies became a reality, she wasn’t going to let it slip through her fingers.
I absolutely loved each character. Except for mom. Not a damn chance can I deal with her. I love the sibling bond she has with her brother. Her dad is a DILF . He’s so protective of his daughter, but also so encouraging and supportive.
What can I say, another story? I absolutely adored. Keep them coming!

Need a good age gap??? Here it is! I love Elizabeth is wild but wants to be more. She grows throughout the book. Vinny had a lot going on and I was rooting for him to get his shit together lol! You could feel the adoration they had for each other and really wanted to see them get their HEA, which didn't disappoint. I really want to know if Maddie is getting down with daddy James ..... Please tell me that's book 2 ha!

Omg!!! I absolutely loved it. I was hooked instantly!! Started it last night and finished early this morning. Loved all the twists and turns! Vinny is such a hot and dreamy man!! He is a badass and protective to the ones he cares about. Gentle and loving and rough in the bedroom with Eliza.
Love all the characters but the mom. She is a bi*ch. Honestly James, her dad is such a great man. He was been through a lot of kept things quiet to his family. I hope to see him happy in the future!! Maybe in an future book perhaps??

What can I say V.B Emanuele does it again!! The plot the twist and turns. You have your protector and your person who wants to make their family proud, that would be Vincenzo and Elizabeth.
I never had read an age gap romance before but damn, when you get a description of the hottest, it's hard not to picture what they look like in your head Hello Vinny!!
If you love hot men, beautiful ladies, romance, age gap and some mafia thrown in, then this book is for you. Well done V.B Emanuele you've done it again.

Elizabeth's father, James, is a rather well known defense lawyer and his best friend is one of the most well known crime bosses in the city. Vincenzo recently just finished a 5 year prison sentence, where James learned there were things his friend was keeping from him. Little does he know Vincenzo is about to have a whole new secret to keep. Elizabeth has returned home from college for the summer, and as punishment for a previous infraction, her father makes her work in his office. At the suggestion of her mother she also splits this time working for Vincenzo as a house keeper basically. Elizabeth has always had a crush on her father's friend, given the new proximity it now has the chance to blossom into something more.
Okay so this book started off with a great opening that really set the tone for the whole book. Elizabeth is the perfect character, but she rather pales in comparison to the god that is Vincenzo. The chemistry between these two is undeniable and works perfectly. The two have believable and sometimes relatable relationship issues, which I think is an added bonus to connecting with the story. The book utilizes a dual POV to tell the story from both Elizabeth and Vincenzo's perspectives and I think it is balanced well between the two; you really know how each feels about major events that take place. Vincenzo's protective personality really comes into play with the professor. (IF YOU KNOW)
So this was officially my first mafia romance and I want and need more. The book has an amazing balance of spicy and story. Often it's easy for the spicy to overtake the story but that is not the case here! The two compliment each other so well! I was left wanting more of everything. I really need the second book to be published like now. Have no fear though the book ends on a note that you can feel satisfied, no massive mindblowing cliffhanger--a fact that I am a huge proponent of given my disdain for cliffhangers! Basically my recommendation is add this to your list today.

Holy Hell... This book was smokin' hot! This was the first book I read of VB Emanuele but now I can't wait to read more!
I loved the chemistry between Vincenzo and Elizabeth. They burned up the pages and kept me reading throughout the entire thing. I devoured this book and still wanted more. I can't wait for the next book. The spice, the angst and the plot twist really made this book so amazing. The character and world building was executed to perfection. Now just sitting waiting on book #2!

Age gap books are one of my absolute favorite tropes. I love Vincenzo and Elizabeth. I love this book as well. Now this book may not be for everyone, but these are the tropes

Woowee?! Bring the water cause this book is hot! OMG, I loved this story, it had me totally hooked right from the start; it was gripping, intense, wild and spicy. Vinny had the alpha-dom presence 100% in the bag and it totally made my knees weak just reading some of the scenes....he most definitely played his roles well. And, Elizabeth, she was such an old soul for being in her early 20s. But she could not have been a better match for Vinny, I thought she was great. She had this way around Vinny where he felt calm, and she was strong, outspoken and caring. Now the storyline flowed well, and you really could lose yourself inside the story. I loved that Emanuele threw in some suspense and plot twists, it truly made this book exquisite. I highly recommend anyone looking for a spicy hot, age-gap mafia to grab this one!

She delivered an original plot, a slow burn and a steaming seduction. Feelings were covered by all the characters, including a change in sibling caring. This book has age gaps, love, mystery, friendship, consequences, and even early glimpses of attraction.
My next want to read will be another of her books. Ohhh, yes, I’m hooked on the originality of this writer, and hope the next is just as original.

“I had a weakness for men. Hot. Older. Italian men.”
Tryst by VB Emanuele was my first age-gap novel, and surprisingly the age gap of 24 years didn’t faze me whatsoever.
The story is told in both Elizabeth and Vincenzo's perspective. I thought they made the perfect couple not only because of the hot friction between them but also how both characters Eliza and Vinny felt realistic. They knew it was a dangerous line to cross but they are both adults and it was what they both wanted.
With this book also comes other tropes/triggers like:

Tryst by VB Emanuele was my first age-gap novel, and surprisingly the age gap of 24 years didn’t faze me whatsoever.
The story is told in both Elizabeth and Vincenzo's perspective. I thought they made the perfect couple not only because of the hot friction between them but also how both characters Eliza and Vinny felt realistic. They knew it was a dangerous line to cross but they are both adults and it was what they both wanted.

Trust by V.B Emanuele is exciting and very steamy as we are used to from her ;) Elizabeth Withman the daughter of the sincere lawyer James Whitman. She comes back home because she made a small mistake in College ;). As punishment she has to help her father in his office but then things get exciting when Vincenzo Falzone comes into play best friend of James (Mafia). And for Elizabeth? well worth reading. This book contains age gap, romance, hot steamy sex, action, Wait for sequel !!!

WOW!!!! Who knew a dad's best friend romance could be so good? I didn't because this is the first one I have read and I absolutely loved it. I kept wondering how V.B. was going to spin this story when seeing all of her promo material on it and I can say she did a fantastic job.
Vincenzo and Elizabeth are so good together that honestly when I was reading it if there wasn't any mention of age or him being her dad's best friend I had completely forgot about all of that. I think a big reason for that is how V.B. develops their story. Certain things in Elizabeth's life were missed by Vincenzo as he was away in prison therefore resulting in him seeing her differently once he is released. Try as he might to fight his feelings for her, he just isn't able to do so.
Of course this wouldn't be a V.B. Emanuele story without a plot twist or two thrown in along the way and kindle igniting steamy moments between Vinny and Lizzie! I love, love, loved the extreme possessiveness Vincenzo feels when it comes to Elizabeth. With him at her back she will never have to worry about being safe, that's for certain. Although originally this was meant to be a standalone I was super excited when I found out there will indeed be a book two and who it will be about.

This took the hot older man to a whole new level. Elizabeth is confident, self aware and knows what she wants..that is sexually. And she knows who she wants. Home from an adventurous school year to say the least,what was meant to be punishment turns to little bit of pleasure in her father's best friend. Vinny is back home and face to face with a grown up Lizzie and boy has he underestimated her. What I loved about Tryst is that it is a dark romance that doesn't go too dark. There is the right mixture of romance, drama and protection and we see both characters' points of view and the growth in their characters separately and together. It was nice to read of a young adult who wasn't excessively immature and had a great solid girl friend. I also appreciated that Vinny didn't treat Elizabeth as a toy or child. This is a stand alone book but the ending definitely has us wanting more!

Tryst is an age gap book that is truly amazing. This book isn’t my first by V.B. and definitely not my last. It will have you not wanting to put it down as you fall in love with the heroine and hero. 5 stars aren’t even close to what this story deserves. Hopefully there will be many many more spicy and delicious stories in this series. Great Job V.B.

Wow. I really enjoyed this spicy read. Age gap romance mixed with a touch of forbidden because the MMC is FMC’s father’s best friend. Elizabeth and Vincenzo definitely heat up the pages and their romance is very spicy. The story ahead my completely hooked right from start to finish. I loved that there was some unexpected plot twists. I loved many of the other characters as well. I loved the relationship between Elizabeth and her brother and her best friend, Maddie, was great. I hope she gets the next story. This was my first book by this author and it won’t be my last

If you’re looking for steamy, sexy and thrilling read that is also sweet sensual and totally wooing - Tryst is absolutely the book for you. A shocking plot twist takes the story of Elizabeth and Vincenzo from a forbidden secret romp to a page turning “touch her and you die” adventure that I just couldn’t put down. V. B. Emanuele nails it every single time!

Oof 🥵 That was one fabulously spicy book! I’m never disappointed in a book by VB! You out did yourself with this one! I haven’t wished a book world was real in a long while and good lord gravy am I jelly of Eliza!!!! So perfect! I can’t wait for the next one 😍

V.B Emanuele has done it again; she, hands down is one of my favorite authors!! She writes some of the best sex scenes and can I just say her scenes... WOW!!! 🥵🥵 Vincenzo is just sex reincarnated into a sexy, Italian God. 🥵🥵🤣🤣 I loved all of the characters in this book, they were well thought out, they had depth and they really just meshed extremely well with her storyline. You never had to wonder why she decided on any of her characters because it all just worked flawlessly. I'm a sucker for a bad guy who is morally grey who breaks all the rules because he only follows his own. I also really like Elizabeth, the FMC; I really that even though she was quite a bit younger than Vinccenzo, she was extremely mature and acted older than she was. I definitely think that the two main characters just worked and it wasn't forced or awkward in any way.
Now while I'm not huge into age gap in real life or in books, I felt it worked in this book because the author wrote it so well. I love how this author can just pull me into her books, consuming me and I feel like I'm walking on a tightrope of emotions and I love it. She writes books that you don't want to put down instead you want to binge read it because you have to know what's going to happen. I don't know if she will write a sequel to this book but I hope she does because this can't be the end of this series. This book has everything from age gap romance to murder to some sexy smutty scenes that leave you breathless.
I cannot RECOMMEND THIS BOOK ENOUGH, this is a must read especially if you are a fan of V.B EMANUELE!!! If you've never read anything by V.B Emanuele then do yourself a HUGE favor and read this book, its a perfect book to read for your first time book by V.B!!!

But...what if he doesn't? What if he can't keep his distance anymore? I was hooked on this book from the first and could not put it down until I got to the end. (I am delighted to hear there will be more from this world!) This had everything. Steam, heat, sweet moments, and just the right amount of suspense.
