Have children who have left the faith? Then this book is for you.
There are no easy answers but the book fills you with hope, joy, need for perseverance and and utter complete need for trusting God, all done through the eyes of St Monica and holding her hand.
The stories are all relatable and there is plenty of info to pursue.

An inspiration

This book is not just full of history of Saint Monica but it has uplifting accounts of people who have turned from their faith and have come back. There are also stories of people who were not born to the faith but ended up coming to it, sometimes at the end of their lives. It was a very well written uplifting read.

A fantastic work, filled with hope

This book is literally an answer to prayer. The authors lovingly and skillfully coach parents troubled by the wanderings of prodigal sons and daughters. Despite the sobering subject matter, this is a fantastic work, filled with hope.

Practical book with many personal stories that were relatable. The book emphasizes the importance of the power of prayer and improving your own spiritual life in order to pass the faith onto your children and loved ones. Reminds us to trust God with our loved ones. Great read.

I loved this book. Perfect read in light of some of the current trends in the Catholic Church. It provokes thought and inspires hopeful prayers for our children and loved ones that are finding their way back home to the Church. It’s a definite must read!

Insightful Read for All

This book seems like it’s only for mothers praying for their children and their Faith but in reality this is an excellent read for anyone. Despite reading this not for my children but for other family members, I finished with a deeper sense of my own Faith, a renewed feeling of inner peace and a reminder of how the Catholic Church leads with love despite what the world might say otherwise. Beautifully written, relatable, but also provides a renewed sense of hope. Well worth the time to read.

If you have a child who has strayed from the Catholic faith or has lost their faith in God completely, I'd highly recommend reading this book. It was not only comforting, but the authors gave concrete ideas of what you, as a parent, can do be a model of the Catholic faith for your child, and assist them, with heavenly helpers, to find their way back to the faith again.
