“Come on,” said Reitrin, taking Ace’s arm.
“Get back here!” Alex roared as he turned to pursue them. He was tripped when Etakai swept his feet out from under him and then slammed his knee onto his back, pinning him to the ground.
“Go!” Etakai yelled at Reitrin. “I’ll deal with this one.”
Reitrin nodded and ran to the village with Sia and Ace in tow.
“Get off!” Alex cursed Etakai colorfully, but then Etakai drew a knife and held the point to Alex’s nose.
“Now, listen carefully,” Etakai purred in his icy voice. Alex froze. “I need Ace to get myself home, so you and your little fire-breathing pal won’t interfere. Understand?”
Alex held his breath and looked up at Etakai whose green eye was glowing.
“What are you?” Alex whispered. His voice was thin with fear.
“To be honest, I don’t know anymore,” Etakai replied. He knocked Alex out with one strike, then stood up and followed Reitrin.

From adventure to soft romance and epic battles to playful banter, I love writing stories that enchant and excite my readers! I enjoy adding comical relief and deep backstory to my stories as well as slipping in unexpected twists and sarcasm and jokes I know may go over many people's heads.
I have many more stories coming as well as a rewrite project for an old novel I wrote when I was 16.
Cheers!

I was privileged to read a draft copy of The Tale of Many Worlds before publication. This is an excellent book. The Eysheus are moving into classical territory with wonderful results. I wish I could tell you, but I don't want to give it away ... I know there will be more books and I can't wait to see where they go next! New surprises. New Eysheus!
