I’m sorry, but what???? How is this the conclusion to this series? There’s still no answer as to WHY or HOW Waylynn hears their voices… Zero remorse from her mother/parents, or any real resolution to how they treat her because of her illness, especially after the Thanksgiving incident… No solid cohesion to her relationship with Memphis, Oz, and Bates—who still feels like a third wheel instead of an actual partner btw. & don’t even get me started on the unnecessary Alexis drama…

I’m so annoyed right now lol

This CANT BE THE CONCLUSION? WHAT?! SOOO many things left unanswered. I genuinely enjoyed this story, but is that it? After all the buildup, we get a sudden happily ever after for everyone? While I thoroughly enjoyed the first two books in this series, I must confess that I felt let down by this one.

Let me begin by saying that this reverse harem trilogy was decent, captivating, easy to read, and thoroughly enjoyable and it held my attention to the point where I couldn't put it down but I couldn't help but feel that the ending left something to be desired.

Feeling Forever should have been an exhilarating read, considering the presence of these attractive men surrounding Waylynn. Unfortunately, she seemed to fade into the background while Memphis, Oz, and Bates took the spotlight. Like many trilogies, this one suffered from unnecessary filler content, including family and groupie drama, along with repetitive scenes told from different perspectives.

It was disappointing to see Bates feel like a third wheel in the relationship, almost like a creeper just observing from the sidelines. As I said in my review for book 2, Bates just feels out of place in the harem, like he doesn't even belong since he was introduced as a "love interest" so late in the trilogy. The majority of the book focused on developing the relationship between Memphis and Oz, while Bates seemed to be left behind. It leaves the impression that Memphis is the primary boyfriend, Oz provides comedic relief, and Bates is merely there to balance out Memphis' dominant and problematic behavior. But I mean I'm not really complaining, I do enjoy Memphis' character out of all of them.

One of the main aspects that remained unexplained was the reason behind the main character's ability to hear voices following her car accident in her youth. It is barely addressed at all and Bates concludes that she must be psychic, and that's the end of it. It's brushed aside without further exploration. Instead, a significant portion of the story is dedicated to Alexis' drama, which mysteriously disappears without a trace. Why does KJ harbor so much animosity toward Oz? Why did Waylynn's mom bring Easton? What was his intention or plan if Bates hadn't intervened? The conflicts in those books never felt out of nowhere; there was always sufficient foreshadowing to justify the events and there was so much potential in these storylines, but they were hastily skimmed over, and the story concluded with a lackluster smut chapter.

I don't know, the whole psychic ability thing was cool, I just wished I was explained. The mention of her brother's death in the accident seemed significant, but we never received a clear explanation or connection to it. We are left to assume that the accident triggered her 'ability', but the reasoning behind it remains unclear. And the fourth voice she heard? The 'mean voice', was never adequately explained either. Perhaps I missed something along the way, but it left me wanting more clarification.

Overall, a disappointing end to this trilogy. I found myself incredibly unsatisfied with the ending of the trilogy. In fact, I genuinely assumed that it was a cliffhanger and that there would be an afterward announcing the release date of the fourth book. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case. When I realized that "THE END" was the intended conclusion, I audibly exclaimed, "WTF."

The initial plot held a sense of mystery and intrigue but there are numerous unresolved plotlines, including three foreshadowed moments from the first two books that are finally brought up in this installment; these crucial explanations were glossed over. The conclusion of this series remains uncertain, and I hold onto the hope that it isn't truly over.  And I strongly believe that if there were a fourth book, there would be ample room to delve into the story, tie up loose ends, and provide a satisfying conclusion.

While the romance does develop throughout the finale, it also feels...unfinished.

That's precisely where I'm left with this series—it feels unfinished. To say I'm unsatisfied would be an understatement; it goes beyond that. Usually, the end of a series can feel unsatisfactory if the happily-ever-after arrives sooner than expected or doesn't unfold in the desired manner. But I don't even want to call this ending a happily ever after.

*2.5* I have really enjoyed other stories by this author so this was a bummer.

I inhaled the first two, not because they were necessarily great reads, but because they were like holding a dramatic little soap opera in my hands, and I was drawn in like a moth to flame.

I had high expectations for this one. Book one introduced us to the characters and the pnr aspect that I couldn’t WAIT to hear more about. Book two slowly brought in the RH aspect. Book three had more sex, but I wanted to know more about the voices!!! What happened to the paranormal in this story?

Also, where was the foursome my lusty little heart had been waiting three books for??

This story read like a YA with some sex. Bland-white-bread-no-flavor fmc made me want to dnf this one. I still don’t know what she looks like...

Overall, this book made for great material to laugh and complain about with my BR Isabella!

Listen……don’t get me wrong, it was a decent reverse harem trilogy but the ending did feel a bit lacking. We never really got a full explanation on why the main character has been hearing voices since experiencing a car accident when she was young? I mean they did hint to a possible psychic ability but I feel like they didn’t dive deep enough for me personally, the mentioning of her brother dying in that car accident seemed significant but then we never got a clear explanation or connection to it? We are meant to assume that the accident triggered it but why? The 4th voice she heard that was mean to her never got explained as well? Or did I miss something??

Also, I knew what I was getting myself into reading this trilogy but the love interests were so creepy in some parts I’m so sorry 😭

Like I understand the entire point is their obsessive love and connection to each other but the constant stalking outside her house and just breaking into her room whenever they felt like it was a little…but then again the main character completely enables the behavior so I digress . Bates still didn’t feel like part of the relationship though, he had that awkward third-wheel feeling about him but he’s arguably the most sensible one out of them & they definitely needed at least one semi sane person in their trio so I won’t complain.

Was a solid 4 star read until the end. 2.5 Stars total

Overall I really enjoyed this series and would definitely recommend it to someone who is looking for:
🔹 Reverse Harem/Why Choose
🔹 College setting with all characters 19+
🔹 FMC who has a history with mental illness
🔹 Men who are obsessed with their girl
🔹 Contemporary story with slight paranormal elements

The reasons I settled on 2.5 stars may be slightly spoiler-y so I'll hide behind a spoiler tag just in case.

I’m not really one to make big claims, but with this book, I feel like I need to. This book was OBJECTIVELY not good.

Not good as a book in general, and even worse as the conclusion to a series.

I enjoyed the first book in this series (despite a few things I was questioning) because I found the concept interesting and the setup was good enough for the first book of a series. I didn’t enjoy the second book and only ended up picking up this third book because I was curious as to how it ends. You know what they say!!! Curiosity killed the cat, and right now I’m going “meow meow,” bitch.

The overall plot for this book is shoddy at best, and VERY LOOSELY threaded together. We get a lot of scenes that aren’t necessary in the long run as they create a conflict or setup a plot point that we don’t return to.

The relationship growth is nonexistent and the characters feel like 2D images. It’s honestly like they regressed from book one.

Perhaps most importantly, our primary purpose/central conflict that was developed in book 1 and carried throughout the series is never fully addressed or explained. This was supposed to be paranormal? Sooooo… when does the paranormal stuff actually come into play?
Our FMC hears the guys’ thoughts in her head, but the HOW or WHY of this is never tackled. So, despite this being the main mystery of the series, we, as readers, never get answers. It just remains a mystery that our main characters literally do not even attempt to get to the bottom of.

This book honestly feels like something the author needed to finish to complete the series, but wasn’t interested in at all. This book feels like a chore. Like a last minute college essay submitted exactly at 11:59 pm.

To sum this book up in one word: disappointing.

Oh for pity's sake, that was just the lamest.
Why are reverse harems almost always so empty and storyless

The highlights are when another mean girl stalks OZ for a few chapters but nothing really happens.
Then at the end, her mother tries to force her into psychiatric care again. But nothing really happens with that either. Bleh.

But at no time does anything develop with the paranormal angle. Which was what lured me into reading this drivel in the first place!

sigh....
I feel like I was duped!
I need to read something semi intelligent now. Something with a plot!

This is my second time reading this series in one year. I love it absolutely and it is all I want to read when I'm not feeling well or want a comfort read.
Is it the greatest ever? Nah, but the characters are awesome and I love the writing. Do I wish there was more? Always. I wish we could explore her being a psychic/empath but it isn't brought up often. She isn't ready to deal with it and might never be.

Tagging this as dark but it is more of a mild dark. The guys, especially Memphis are pretty much walking red flags and the tone is a bit dark, but it is more fluffy. This is a great series if you're looking for possessive, obsessive men who respect her, but also recognize they'll never let her go.

I was so so excited for this book and I just feel kinda let down. We didn’t get any answers, why was she hearing the voices!? And poor Bates it felt like he was always third wheel to the brothers. Overall 3⭐️

I’m going to try and write this review without spoilers, because I want people to be able to read at least one the lower rated reviews without spoiling the whole book.

I’m leaving 2 stars as more of a courtesy to the rest of the series than to this book specifically.

Let me start out with saying that I was SO excited when I got the notification that this had released on KU. The first 2 books were written with just enough paranormal tidbits and spice that I didn’t even mind that it was a college romance at its core. There were never any 3rd act conflicts that seemed to come out of left field; it always felt like there was enough foreshadowing to justify what happened. This book was the same in that regard.

HOWEVER: I was left feeling very unsatisfied with the ending of the trilogy. To the point I honestly assumed the ending was a cliffhanger and that there would be an afterword with the 4th book’s release date. That doesn’t seem to be the case. I audibly said “WTF” when I realized that this was just supposed to be “THE END”.
There are so many unresolved plots, including 3 foreshadow-esque moments within the first 2 books that actually do get brought up in this book. And while the romance does evolve throughout the finale, it also seems… unfinished.

That’s really where I’m left with this series, it really just feels unfinished.
To say I’m unsatisfied would honestly be an understatement, it’s more than that. Usually the end of a series can feel unsatisfactory if the HEA just comes sooner than you would have hoped, or maybe not in the way you would have wanted… but I would be hesitant to even call the ending a HEA.

I think the worst way a book can end, especially as the end of a series, is leaving you feeling disappointed. And sadly that’s exactly where I’m at.

Here’s to hoping a 4th book announcement will come along and change that.

So.. this series was a frustrating read for me. The three books felt WAY too drawn out. This could have been a stand alone book if all the repetitive nonsense had been removed. The ending leaves nothing resolved really- who was the 4th voice she heard- the mean one? It’s mentioned randomly and then never again- what was the point of that?? We also never find out why she was hearing voices. There is no real resolution with her family either. Also the whole plot with the random girl obsessed with Oz- that just had no point. Their phones keep disappearing for no reason- just so many useless things added for no reason because they didn’t carry on the story really. After finishing it I’m just like.... what…? This was a disappointing read tbh.

This last in the trilogy was disappointing, I'm afraid to say. There were so many loose ends and things that were unexplained. The ending felt very rushed also.

This book felt a bit more rushed then the first two. The whole ending felt very rushed and almost like the author just wanted to end the book quickly. I felt like the entire book happened in the chapter involving the Thanksgiving dinner and everything was just rushed together. I also feel like the author skipped out on parts of the story that would have been nice to at least get an explaination about. That was hugely disappointing like the crap with Alexis was a big bother for me. She was stalking Oswald and the guys, and Waylynns house and such for almost the entire second book and most of the third then poof just no other mention about her or what happened with her. Also was disappointed that the guys went from thinking she was a psychic, to then an empath with absolutely no conculsion and or evidence to even back up their thoughts. Overall this one for me was not as good as the first two and was just an ok book.

Each book in this trilogy got 5 stars from me. This was a sweet, medium-burn, relaxing reverse harem. No spice in book one, but there was some sexual tension. Enough to make me keep reading cause you know I’m allergic to clean books. There was some drama and jealousy, but not enough to make you want to throw the book and keep you on the edge of your seat. It was the right amount for a sweet read. It’s exactly what I was looking for at the moment where the guys are devoted to the girl throughout, even when girls tried to push their way in. I just really enjoyed this series, and really loved all three guys. If you’re looking for a RH where the guys are attracted to the heroine from the start, with a strong connection, and a little drama thrown in, then this is something I would definitely recommend. It had a little paranormal thrown in too, which I liked, cause it felt almost like fated mates/soul mates, even though it isn’t labeled that. It was a refreshing read from all the dark and bully RH’s I read.

I really enjoyed this book but I’m also so sad that this trilogy is ended. I want more of these amazing characters! More of Waylynn, Memphis, Oz and Bates, I love them so much!

The ending of the story felt incomplete, it felt like a set up to more. But other than that I really enjoyed this series and would highly recommend reading it!

I'm so in love with this series. From the start, Memphis, Bates, Oswald and Waylynn held a spot in my heart.

I can't lie, I wish there was going to be more to this story instead of it just ending. Some parts felt a little bit rushed and I would've loved for it to have been stretched out into two books instead of one. I want more information and more of everything.

Do not take that as me thinking this book was bad. It was perfection, even though I'd love for more. The relationship development and character development was beautiful. Each character had their own issues and things they needed to work through and it was a wild ride.

This series is everything I didn't know I even needed. I had a death in the family and had a giant hiatus from reading and this book brought me completely out of my void and helped me find my love for reading again.

I wish I could offer up more than just 5 stars. Albany Walker deserves so much praise for this series, these characters and the world she created.

*Edited Aug 17 2025 to add the below.

This is my second read through of this last book and I'm starting to see what others are saying regarding the lack of a conclusion or resolution to so many issues. I'm so in love with this series that it closed up happily for me the first time.

However, I'm now wanting more. I want to see her mom gravel. I want to know WHY she hears their voices, more so than just being guesses from Bates and others. Did anything happen to KJ and that beast of a stalker? lol. I also felt like the resolution of the primary ending was too rushed.. Everything happens, then after all of this stress it's just suddenly resolved? No way. lol

None of this changes the fact that I love this series. Bates will always be one of my favourites. But I do want some more info too. Maybe in Albany's head it makes sense, and I'm all for that. Can I have a Q&A with her please? 😂

This was an amazing conclusion to the series! It was great to see them work through the ups and downs in their relationship instead of everything being perfect between them all the time like in some stories. We get to see Waylynn grow as a person and accept the things about herself that she previously wanted to hide as well as her learning to speak up for herself. This is also the spiciest of the three books. 😍

So good. So sad it’s over. (Insert 2 am crying here.)
This has fast become one of my favorite series. I’ve listened to the Audible twice already of the first two and devoured the ARC of this final book.
I laughed. I cried. I raged. I took a moment to cool down… it was perfection.

Book: Feeling Forever
Read By: Ebook
Author: Albany Walker
Genre: Reverse Harem, Contemporary Romance
Recommend: Yes
< b>Age recommendation: 18-30+ Years
My feelings:

The thrilling conclusion to the series left me breathless! It was a rollercoaster ride of emotions as we watched the characters navigate the tumultuous ups and downs in their relationship.

“She’s not going anywhere, man. She thinks you hung the fucking moon. You could tell her up was down and she would swear it was the truth. I’m not worried about her leaving you. I’m worried about you hurting her and breaking that thing inside her that makes her so damn special, because even then, she would stand by you.”

Unlike other stories where everything seems to be perfect all the time, this one showed the messy and real aspects of love.

“Yeah, I’m the best. Eat your food before it’s too cold. I’m not heating it up again, and remember, Memphis’ and Oswald’s babies are mine too. I get them all.”

Waylynn's character development was poignant and satisfying, as she learned to embrace her true self and find her voice. And let's not forget the steamy scenes - this book definitely turned up the heat compared to its predecessors!

“I don’t like the way he looks at you.” “It will never matter how he looks at me because he isn’t you.”

This series reads as one large book because literally nothing happens until the third book. I don’t mean spice. I mean plot. The whole time you’re waiting for something to happen. Drama. Plot twist. Some sort of arc. But nothing happens until things FINALLY pick up in the last book. But then the conclusion is lackluster. Overall I’m just so disappointed that the paranormal psychic bit wasn’t a bigger part of the story.

Also if a strange man is found naked in a woman’s hotel room, he’d be arrested immediately. But change the genders and it’s no big deal? Cleat Chaser should have been arrested and if nothing else there should have been a RESTRAINING ORDER. But she just disappears with no further trouble?

And it’s a little weird knowing that the author obviously has had some sort of issue with smelly Ubers. LOL

abrupt ending

I am happy to see progress being made but there was drama being made for no reason and a bit extreme. Then it didn’t get developed within the story but alluded to instead. The ending was absolutely abrupt. Right in the middle of a scene it just ended. Weird and no clear reason to do so. Unclear if this is the end of the series or where it needs to go from here. I enjoy the characters but so much just bounces around in the story line.

I can’t believe what transpired on Thanksgiving. And the one girl who’s nothing but a nuisance made me so mad. Such a relatable character to absolutely hate. Bates has become to be one of my favs. I really liked his family. I wish the ending would have been a little longer tho. There’s was more questions I had about things. Great series tho. I thought it was very sweet. I didn’t mind the slow burn at all. 🖤

This was such a fun, easy read-through series that was a welcomed palate cleanser. I related so well to the FMC of this series and I surprisingly enjoyed the mundane realness of everything being set at university in Michigan.

There were moments when I thought Weylann was a little too naive for a girl who’s been brought up in higher circles AND has a mental disorder she received inpatient treatment for… maybe it’s my own bias but that was my take 🤷🏽‍♀️ otherwise I lived the mental health aspect and how she struggled to open up about and eventually trust herself with it 💕 I also, have a mother who matches up with Weylnn’s and the struggle is real!
So many aspects of my past and the relationship I have with my mother is reflected in these books and it’s kinda comforting knowing even fictional characters have rough relationships with their mothers and perfection and mental health and high standards 😅 boy, that’s a lot to stress over, no wonder Weylnn and I have anxiety 🙃

Anyways, the spice was sublime and I definitely unlocked some fun fantasies this time around. Bates’ flirting definitely had me hot and steaming and those fingers 👀 it’s not my usual pleasure but hey, Albany Walker really opened my mind 💥

I enjoyed reading the whole series, but overall left disappointed. No real plot, just angst. The voices was a good hook but then nothing really happened with it. Unsatisfying ending. The cover implies a dark romance, but I wouldn't call it that. Spice was mild, not a negative just something to note. I think this whole thing could've "baked" a bit longer.

I’m so sad this series is over. It was amazing. I loved everything about Waylynn, Bates, Memphis & Oz….everything. The storyline was fantastic. I do feel it ended pretty abruptly and I would’ve loved an epilogue into the future but I’m still so glad I discovered this trilogy and will recommend it to everyone!

2.5 stars- An unsatisfying end to the series. I was so excited to read the last book because i hoped we’d finally get some answers.

We got a smidgen when they finally talked about how the voices she heard were their thoughts and not just random words. But then they mostly glossed over it and it was more sprained ankles and football stuff/Alexis drama like in the second book. Sigh.

Also the spit in the epilogue??? So fucking random wtf lmao

I want to love this, but i just feel so fuckin blue balled by the whole series tbh 🤣
