Tbh I forgot how I even found this book and the person who recommended it is lucky that I do, otherwise it would be on site for recommending this shit.



There was no plot line to this story; it felt all over the place and like the author was changing her mind throughout. It felt like insta-love one minute, and then they're getting married? Then he doesn’t like her, but he loves her? But he is only using her for sex, a marriage, and an heir? But no, he does love her? The plot also felt very unrealistic, like why is the brother dying from falling down the stairs instead of being killed? This is a MAFIA romance...



It felt very rushed, and the writing felt very childish. I hated the characters. They both had trauma that was bigged up for the plot and what made them into the people they were now, but then the actual trauma was hardly mentioned? And let's not forget the good old commitment issues. Also the fact that the topic of being spanked was basically the whole book made me want to SCREAMMM! 



This is how I would imagine Fifty Shades of Grey to be written if the author was a CHILD and wanted to include the mafia but didn’t know enough about the topic to write about it properly. Also, why is the driver of the head of the mafia being a little gossip? He would be dead, no? 



Overall, this book was AWFUL, I hated it. Also, the random bit of racism was weird… I don’t think that was necessary at all as it didn’t bring awareness to the subject and just felt like it was thrown in there for no reason… and the random bits of misogyny🤨 YES, I AM COMPLAINING ABOUT misogyny in a mafia romance because whoever wrote this book deserves it!

Mafia brothers

They didn’t have a very good upbringing, The Don always trying to make them hard and constantly had the brothers fighting each other, he needs a strong heir to pass on his work when his time was up. Both of the brothers were heartless wanted to succeed and only thought about money the eldest was a gambler and a bully, the younger was damaged due to a cheating girlfriend, the consequences are he will never let anyone close to him again. He just wanted a submissive as he was dominant, he wanted total control. Then he by chance met a girl stuck in a lift, he rescued her but he had to leave town that night, he was obsessed with this innocent girl and tried to keep away, he thought what harm would one little taste do then he could get back on track to win his empire before his dad died. And beat his older brother, who by tights was the natural heir being the eldest, but no good for the families future. That was his plan. Have the girl, discard her, deal with his brother and deal,with his dad. Simple but he didn’t have long, dad was dying.

Mean do I really enjoy this series so far this book is my favorite! It's got a hot mafia who is very dark and is a dom! Some very interesting independent woman who has big dreams. What happens when a accident brings them face to face and can they help each other over come their past demons?? Will and can they bring each other what they secretly desires in life?? Find out this and much more in this not able to be done, keep you guessing/ on edge and wanting more book! It's so fun and a great read it's a keeper for me I love it so much!!.

DNF

I’ll never get those 30 pages read back ever.
This was the first book I’ve read from this author and I will not be reading more.

I saw a review saying this was like 50 shades ft the mafia written by a child and I totally agree.

So much over explanation and c-rated scenes that didn’t make sense. The girl is out here having a panic attack and he’s being chivalrous yet thinking about sticking his P in her mouth. PLEASE

An interesting read

This book was interesting, had a lot of sex, submission and dominance. This h met the H when he stopped her and her friend from being kidnapped. He is a mafia boss who is competing with his brother for control of the family business. The h is an innocent who was introduced into his world, they were attracted to each other and both were broken emotionally. There’s obstacles they had to overcome to find their HEA. An epilogue would have been nice.

Vincenzo and Ophelia.

I loved ❤ reading this story. I loved the characters, plot and storyline.
I loved the back and forth communication between them.
I loved that he was dominant and she was a submissive. Their chemistry is Super Hot🔥.

Ups and downs, twists, differences with his brother and father.

He wants to be Don.

He needs to marry and have a child.

And I rarely say that about any book. The characters were delightful, especially Ophelia and Cathy. Both are strong, funny, intelligent and relatable women. The story is interesting, rather fast paced and absolutely worth the read.

Vincenzo may have control issues, but the major problem is trying to control his own emotions towards Ophelia. He wants to use her to obtain leadership of the family business and walk away before he destroys her. But Ophelia is different from any other and he keeps getting drawn back. Now he needs to protect her from his enemies. Amazing story with a very steamy romance, a dysfunctional family and great secondary characters like Cathy and Rocky.
