Last night, I tried to drink away my feelings for my brother's best friend.
Today I’m riding across a dangerous, desert wasteland with him.

Like my parents years ago, gods have chosen me for a sacred mission. You’d think the daughter of an infamous motorcycle club would be able to handle it. But when Torrance Knight steps up to make the ride with me, I’m both relieved and dreading the journey.

He’s my brother’s best friend, and pure sin wrapped in a tall, leather package. I’ve been in love with him for years, but he’s too busy breaking the heart of every girl in town to notice me, let alone return my feelings.

I have to protect my heart on this journey while also pretending to be his wife. Not only that, I have to focus on our mission. We’re riding into danger that could rival the Collapse of my parents’ generation. And if we don’t make it home, can I summon the courage to tell him how I feel?

Even worse, how do I handle being in love with him, surviving this task, and also falling for someone new?

I don’t know what these vengeful gods have in store for me, but I can’t afford to be faithless.

Vengeful Gods MC is a dystopian whychoose/reverse harem series with fantasy elements. This series takes place in the same world as Steel Demons MC and Their Property: Sons of Odin MC.

It’s been about 26 years since the previous series and all has been quiet. The kids are grown-up! Time for the Gods to pick another group of eligible humans to battle evil again.

Slightly spoilery review below.

The main takeaway:
Dystopian/Mad Max feel to the world
Both mmc and fmc are sexually active with others (off page)
The sexual tension was almost painful, nothing until 90%
REALLY graphic gladiator fighting/plus killing animals

Rori (23) is a badass kinda woman. Raised by a very strong mother and fathers, she’s learned how to protect herself and take what she wants from life. Except the man she’s been lusting over for years. She picks lots of bed partners hoping to find what her mother did with her husbands. She’s in love with her best friend Torr, but can’t find the courage to tell him.

Torr (25) was taken in by Rori’s family as a twelve-year-old orphan. He’s been obsessed with Rori for years but has slated his lust with plenty of ow because he just can’t reach out to her and let her know how he feels. He thinks of her every time he’s with someone else.

Rori hates that she is called a whore for having so many bed partners, while Torr is praised for doing the same thing. She is annoyed by the double standard but they both continue to ignore their feelings and pound others.

The Gods speak. They go off on a secret mission together. It’s a high-end spa catering to women.

I liked the additional characters and it’s pretty easy to see the men who will eventually be part of Rori’s harem going forward. There was also a hint that there might be some mm action, so that was positive. I liked the set-up but wished it had moved along faster as the middle was SLOW. The undercover work in a forward thinking “women pleasure” spa was a bit silly. I kept wondering where the hidden cameras were. Honestly both Rori and Torr were TERRIBLE undercover actors, I was surprised they weren’t discovered sooner.

The gladiators/slaves were used for killing each other but were also sex slaves. Women from the spa could pick out the one they wanted for bed play. So after enjoying your facial, and all the killings, you can have the winning gladiator too. There was so much sex with other people in this story! Also, that same crazy-ass man hating cult of women that Shadow (first series) grew up in, were back and I’m SO OVER them.

My disappointment with this one made me seriously question my glowing reviews on the previous series. I wish the author had written a new world, with fresh characters, rather than bring the adult kids into it. It’s not a bad book, it’s just feels like a repeat of the previous series with somewhat new characters.

I did like this book and am looking forward to the next one. I could only give it 3 stars though b/c well Rori bothered me. I read Steel Demons and to be honest, I am a bit disappointed that their daughter ( Rori) seems so sheltered and well a bit stuck up and bratty. I realize she did not have to grow up like her parents did or struggle as her parents did, But the world although less dangerous is still in shambles I expected her to be more badass I guess and instead, she just comes across as whiney. To me especially given her age. I am really hoping and assuming that changes with the next books in the series and that we get to see her growth b/c I just wanted to smack her and be like grow the fuck up, stop whining. She also came across as a bit spoiled. There is a moment in their travels they end up at a bar/motel and the way she reacts almost comes across like she is too good to be in a place that.
Also I find the way both Torr and her act, once they get to where they need to be, is just well irresponsible and childish. For young adults, they make really and decisions for supposed to be undercover and sneaky are horrible actors and can't even make it a day without acting out and messing things up, Torr just somehow forgets they are on like a secret mission. He just decides to blap to the hunter why they are actually there and their secret, not knowing if he can be trusted and it not even being his mission technically yet. Like I just kept thinking " God I would not want them to be the ones sent to save me the mission would fail before it really actually got started" Even with this though I am still looking forward to the next book and to see where this series goes. I have some thoughts and ideas b/c I have read the character's parents' book. I am excited to see a lot of growth in Rori and hope she can become as badass as her mother. Definitely recommend reading this book.

Well this book was pretty great. I was hooked from the beginning of page 1!

Welcome back to Steel Demons - second generation!!!!

The entire plot was crazy! We are brought back to the Gods bringing back missions for their people to meet. When Rori is met with her dove, Astarte (her destiny) she is confused and afraid. Luckily she has her mom and dads to give her the rundown.

Torrence and Santos are both great characters and I cannot wait to see more of them. I loved Torr’s and Rori’s back and forth the entire time and how she never put up with his crap. Santos, I am dying for more of his history!!!

When we were introduced in the epilogue to the sisterhood of Bathory, I am not too sure how I feel about it. I loved the original series, but I hope the author doesn’t just basically rewrite that for this series. I would love for these characters to have their own story altogether.

The coliseum was definitely new and I loved how she wrote into that! I am very excited to see where this goes next and I can’t wait for more of Rory!

“We come out of this together or not at all”

*Overall 5/5
*Slow Burn
*Heat? 3/5
*Multiple first person POV
*MFM Romance sooo far
*Written in a way where I don’t think you have to have read the series before to understand
*Ends on light cliffhanger

4.5⭐

I am so happy to be back in the Steel Demon universe!! This book was everything you could want in a next-gen series. We got to see Mari and the men for a little bit, and the way Rori talked about her family and how amazing her parents were, made me feel like a proud mama!
I fell in love with Rori right away! She’s the epitome of a badass FMC. By the end of the book, we’ve been given a clue that there may be 4 men for Rori to team up with and save the world/get down and dirty with. The last MMC introduced will be interesting! Maybe similar to Shadows’ plotline? But more intense. The relationship with Tor was *chef's kiss* and the slow burn between these two paid off in spades. In true fashion, Crystal Ash delivered a cliffy that tore at my heart! I will be waiting impatiently for the next book in this series.

these characters were annoying and the story was uninteresting. i have no interest in ever continuing this series, and i honestly don’t know why this has such a high rating. this book falls flat from the dystopian bike romance it intends to be. i’m a girl of simples things. either give me a biker romance or a dystopian romance. don’t overflow all fo my senses with this nonsense, please and thank you.

Y’all, I don’t know where to go with this review. In both a good and a bad sense. I’m at a loss for words and I don’t like it.

Crystal is an amazing story teller and this book is no different. Rori is vibrant and brave. She is vivacious and I instantly liked her.

However, I think I’m very much stuck in my own head. While I love seeing Mari and the Steel Demons again it breaks my heart to see them as old. I wanted to picture them in my head, the way they were in Endless, and have that be their happy ending.

It almost seems as though that is being ripped away. While this book isn’t about them it almost feels creepy to be reading about their daughter in a similar fashion. Which is why I’m torn.

This in no way makes the book bad. It’s beautifully written with tons of emotion and new things around every corner. I’m exited to see how everything develops because I love Crystal’s books. I just hope that I’m able to see these characters as separate from the Steel Demons and not a continuation.

Damn you Crystal for making me feel all of these conflicting emotions.

Honestly, if I write a long review, you should be worried. The more I like a book, the more speechless I seem to get. I wish I could just write “It was awesome. The end.” But alas, this book & this author deserves far more than that, so I’ll pull out my dictionary and try to pretend like I can form a coherent thought.

Like her parents before her, the gods have chosen Rori for a sacred mission that will test her beyond anything she’s ever known. Just when she thinks she’s in over her head, her own personal knight in shining steel in the form of her brother’s best friend, Torrance, steps up to join her on this mysterious journey. After secretly being in love with him for over a decade, she has to find a way to protect her heart while pretending to be his wife. Rori now has to handle being in love with him, surviving this task, and also falling for someone new…

This is a sequel/continuation/spin-off of the original Steel Demon series, focused on the daughter of the Mcs from that series. When it comes to next gen series or books where family values are emphasized, seeing the familial bonds are just as important to me as the romantic ones, so I loved seeing their family dynamic & learning a bit more about Rori & Daren’s relationship, especially with them being twins. Note: While this can be read as a standalone, some of the characters focused on in this book were introduced in the last novella in the Steel Demon series, so for those like me who sometimes skip them or see it as an extended epilogue, I highly suggest reading it beforehand. Also, this book can be particularly triggering to some so please pay attention to the trigger warnings to decide if this is for you. Some triggering scenes aren’t particularly graphic, but this author does a great job of making the reader feel every emotion of her characters so proceed with caution.

That being said, I wondered why the last steel demon book jumped to them being like 5 years old because I’d have loved seeing a pregnant Mari or seeing how they all balanced their lives with new babies, but it allowed readers to get a sense of everyone’s personalities before this book was released and saved a lot of time explaining things.

This is a slow burn so she doesn’t get with, or even meet, all of her men in this book. All of the MCs were pretty well rounded & multi-dimensional. This book primarily focused on Rori, Torr, and Santos. Rori’s a badass, and not the annoying, “not like other girls”, reckless kind of badass. She’s strong and fearless and funny, but also has insecurities, doubts, and makes mistakes. I feel the same way about Torr. I honestly can’t decide which I like more so I won’t force myself to choose (pun slightly intended). Torr was an emotional constipated (her words, not mine) and loyal hothead with a heart of gold. Santos was a big softie with deadly skills, a whole lot of wisdom, and an incredible sense of honor. I loved that, while you see some of the character traits of Mari’s men in Rori’s men, that they weren’t carbon copies. They were all unique.

*Side note: I lied. This is clearly gonna be a long review*

One thing about me, I LOVE conflict and strife between my MCs. Sometimes, romance books can be almost too fluffy. While I enjoy a get-together-stay-together couple, being in a relationship isn’t easy and it’s not without work. Sometimes, you will disagree, you will have a big blowup. Sometimes, you do let your emotions get the best of you. For me, it makes for a more well-rounded character & a more interesting journey. So, I enjoyed seeing Rori and Torr bump heads. Heated arguments make for the best make up sex anyway 😜 This book didn't have as much steamy scenes as other books since this is just the introduction to this story, but the ones it did have...BAYBAE! It was goooooddddd.

None of these characters were perfect. There were some tropes in this book that I’m not a huge fan of (miscommunication and espionage), but they were executed flawlessly. Some of their decisions had me like

and others had me like

but it fit so well with their personalities that it still worked. It's like watching football & your favorite player makes a bad decision that makes you go like

But I'm still rooting for them and will always root for them! One thing I will say about the plot, though, is I wouldn’t call it unpredictable, but predictability isn’t always a bad thing. This book was all about setting the stage for the rest of the series. I may have seen certain things coming from a mile away, but that didn’t make it any less enjoyable. If anything, I was gleefully awaiting it to happen.

This was a great start to what I know is going to be a phenomenal series. Crystal Ash never misses for me. Now, I'm gonna read some of her other books to help this empty feeling I have now that I don't have a new Crystal Ash book to read.

An Epically Phenomenal Start To New MC Series!! ❤️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Review

OMG I absolutely loved and obsessed over Steel Demons MC so when I heard Crystal had started a Next Gen Series I knew without a doubt I’d have to read it. And let me tell you Crystal did not disappoint. Holy smokes this first book in her new Vengeful Gods MC series was absolutely freaking fantastic. Shadow from SDMC is and always will be my favorite character but it looks like he’s gonna have some serious competition from Santos.

This series is set about 30 years after the war that Mari and her men fought. The main FMC is their Daughter Aurora aka Rori. Rori and her best friend Torrance, and a couple others that we briefly meet in book one all have been chosen by a new set of Gods to right some new wrongs that are headed humanity’s way. Three of the men we meet are friends from when they were imprisoned. Santos, Devin and Hudson get separated and thrown into situations that leave them battling to survive. Santos and Devin become Gladiators at a resort where they have to hide their friendship and fight battles in the colosseum, and Hudson is taken by the sisterhood and held captive. Rori and Torr are in denial and fighting their connection and attraction to each other. When Rori meets Santos the attraction and chemistry is instant.

This book has it all the raw emotion and ups and downs, action, struggles, secret societies and so much more. I absolutely love the whole Gladiator concept Crystal came up with for this one and the characters she created for us. They are so freaking perfect and I seriously look forward to seeing and reading where she takes us next with them!!! I’m seriously loving the group of men she has chosen and created for Rori. Even though this is a slow burn, slow to build reverse harem it’s still phenomenal and wouldn’t want it any other way!! Crystal Ash rocked it hard core with this new series!! Highly recommend!!

Lightning strikes twice

What do you do when you're the princess of a notorious, post apocalyptic motorcycle gang that saved humanity, the part time receptionist at your dad's ink shop, spending the rest of your time at the local watering holes looking for men-because the one you've been in love with forever, has friend zoned you (so you think), and you're trying to recreate your own slice of heaven like your mom found with your four dads, and so far you've had no luck gaining anything but a reputation, when destiny in the form of a white dove talks to you, telling you that you've been chosen to save the world?

You get on your bike and haul yourself home to talk to the coolest person you know - your mom. And after mom convinces you that you aren't certifiable, she tells your dads, who appropriately freak out. Destiny is calling. Again.

Faithless, Vengeful Gods MC, Book 1 by Crystal Ash, takes place in the world of her amazing Steel Demons MC Series. Four Corners has grown, and a new generation has forgotten the lessons and battles of the past. A new danger is poised to change life as the world sees it, and new gods have awoken to meet this new threat.

This is a slow burn read, a brother's best friend, why choose romance. Rori, the eldest daughter of Mari, twin to Daren, is not sure she believes all this god stuff is real. And she may still be that pampered princess until events set in motion by Torrance, the man she's in love with, make her realize that it isn't a game she's playing.

This new threat, I'm pretty sure it's one we've seen before. It's dangerous, deadly, and it's got money and power behind it. It has the potential to change the lives of everyone in the US, and the world. It's going to be a wild ride going forward.

If you've haven't read Crystal Ash before, I highly recommend her Steel Demons MC Series. It's the series that convinced me that RH books weren't just copious amounts of bow chicka wow wow. Her books have great plots, emotion, excitement, friendship, and yes, great sexy times. It'll catch you up in this world, so you're ready for Rori and Torr, and the new men in her future.

Another brilliant Crystal Ash book! The tension between Rori and Torr is so very realistic, and surprisingly, the misunderstandings between them are perfectly written so that it doesn't feel like either of them is an idiot or blind. They're actually giving off vibes that they don't like each other, though they do. Very well done.

I had to laugh out loud at the 'we only have one room with one bed in it' trope used in this book. Very hilariously done, and of course, a great way to increase that sexual tension between the two!

I love Rori so much, which I figured would happen with Crystal's astounding talents, but at the same time I knew she could never replace Mari from the original Steel Demons series. And she isn't Mari. She's a great mix of her five parents, and I couldn't be more pleased about it. She's so stinking cute and relatable and fiesty! Torr is a great love interest, as is the Butcher (gosh dang I love him! And his panther!!!) and I'm looking forward to Rori meeting the rest of her harem.

Provided they all survive the very people Shadow begged her to avoid...

This one really pulls at all the emotions. Crystal is a PRO and one of my very favorite authors out there, for any genre, not just romance. If you are on the fence, jump off right now and find for yourself what makes her books so amazing and addictive! You're going to LOVE Crystal Ash and all her books!

It’s Steel Demons, the next generation, as the oldest daughter of our favorite dystopian motorcycle club is chosen by the gods to undertake a cortical mission to save humanity. While you don’t need to read the Steel Demons series to enjoy Faithless, I highly recommend it as it will only enhance your experience reading this series.

A mix of paranormal elements, a dash of gritty MC, and a sprinkle of Roman era Gladiators makes Faithless unlike anything I’ve read before and completely unputdownable! We can always count on Crystal to write strong, intelligent female characters and lovable men you want to both kiss and throat punch. Rori is a badass biker bitch who loves her family, her bike, and is unapologetically herself in every way. I LOVED seeing the Steel Demons as parents and their brief appearance in this book made me realize how much I miss these characters.

Faithless is the perfect mix of character development and intriguing plot. Despite being a spin-off series, the storyline was fresh and unique and kept me frantically turning the pages. As book one in the series, Faithless sets the scene and introduces us to some characters we are starting to get to know, and others we have yet to truly meet. The glimpses we were given have me salivating for the second book! Book 2 is definitely ranking among my most anticipated reads of 2023- I can’t wait!!

Yes!!!

Another SMASHING success from this brilliant talented author!!
We are now going forward in time(from the steel demons story) to our beloved characters first born daughter.
Needless to say, I have been excited to read these three so as soon as the third was released, like Pokemon, I caught them all!!
In the steel demons, you got to see the relationship they had with their gods and the struggles, trials and love the five of them faced. Now we are back in a similar situation, only this time, we have moved forward over 20 years, and it's their daughter Rori.
With two loves already in place, will Rori too, just like her parents, have four men that worship her??
Will she be able to save them??
Will the gods ever freaking help just a little more??
I have these questions and more. Just like with the steel demons series, I CAN'T wait to find out more!!
If you've made it this far into my review, I will also say I hardly ever leave them!! The book has to seriously blow my mind, keep me hooked, and be well paced (along with a few other stipulations. What?? I'm picky.)
Do yourself a favor, if you like/love a fantastic dystopian world story with love, some violence, and gods whispering(sometimes yelling) in your head and seriously delicious spicy scenes, GO BUY ALL OF THEM!!!! (Or ya know, KU them)
STOP LOOKING AT THE REVIEWS AND JUST DO IT!!!!

Yeah not my favorite. It took 2/3 of the book for anything to really happen, lots of random things, lots of ground work laid out. It was boring. No spice. No real action. There was no plan or any throughout anything. Just a bird showed up, she said goodbye, then drives to the Wastelands. Ok…
The best part was seeing Mari and the guys again and how they’re grown.

Rori- I loved reading her in the other books and her as a kid. She isn’t a great FMC. She has SO much anxiety and insecurity, it got real old real fast. Her and her god was weird. Weird “relationship” that seemed like they were both forced to work together.

Devin/The Ghost- yeah not sure what role he’ll play…

Torr- man I wanted to smack his stupid ass. They literally have one conversation and she’s all “ok I love you so much” and he’s growly “you’re mine”?! Yeah ok..

Santos- I’m curious to see how they free him from his slavery/gladiator.

The ending was stupid.

WHY IS THERE SO MUCH SEXUAL ABUSE?!?! The trigger warnings need to be WAY more descriptive. It literally says “sexual assault against men and women (not graphic or on the page) umm lies. Literally the entire epilogue is non consensual sex and non consensual breeding basically. It was basically throughout the book. It was real tough to read..

Calling all my steel demons fans… this book is a 2nd generation and holy smokes it’s amazing! It’s set 20+ years after the war and it’s follows aurora (rori) who Is chosen by a God for a mission across country. After learning some truth from her dads and mom ( I loved all the cameo scenes from our favorite Steel demons) she is off with her brothers best friend Torrance, which is complicated in itself 😏 They finally arrive in this super secret “resort” where they discover all kinds of horrible activities going on and rori gets especially close to one person “enslaved” there on the mission. After some of Torrances actions everything goes horribly wrong and they are forced to leave the resort… but do they leave together? The cliffhanger left me desperate for more and I can’t wait for book two.

This is a slow burn why choose romance which means she will send up with more than one love interest.

Ahhh I truly loved this book and this world and I’m so glad we get to dive back in.

If you haven’t checked out this world yet or you are desperate for more read ( Auroras parents story ) start with lawless.

Can't wait for the next one!

It's awesome Crystal Ash created another MC series like Steel Demons. I was so lucky the entire series was out when I started reading because now having to wait months in between books is going to suck. The goodbyes from Rory's parents made me tear up. The faith and love they have for her is inspired. It felt right that Torr went along for the God's journey. Their friendship and camaraderie were genuine and real, and it made me wanna root for them even more. I was really surprised by the gladiators and how they enter into the fold, but listening to the descriptions of Santos fight; he showed mercy and what a bad@ss he could be on the floor of the coliseum. I'm wondering if the god inside Santos's jaguar is going to be part in helping Santos and Torr out of isolation. The sensual scenes were good as always, but I wanted them to be longer. Crystal Ash has way of bringing the intensity of the sex between the characters right to her readers. The emotion, the angst, and the build up makes it so much better. I really wish the next book would come out sooner than next July.

Oh boy! I’ve wanted to see for awhile how an offspring of the Steel Demons’ characters would be. And I got it in triplicate with this book.

Rory is definitely unique and a badass. Very capable to handle herself. More like her dads than her mom and I love it. And when she is called up by the animal gods, she takes off with her BFF, Torrance, on a mission that will put her in an interesting predicament. Especially with Torr. Once at this “resort”, she finds a place that is not all utopian like and the wealthy are treated to death match tournaments and the fighters are pimped out. Add to this, her feelings for Torr are complicated even more when a fighter, Santos, catches her eye.

Like parents like daughter you could say. A reverse harem is in her future but who will round it out is the question. The book ends on a cliffy and let’s say the next book can’t come soon enough.

The book is a slow burn but the reward is worth it. The author has a knack in creative storytelling a dystopian romance and I’m here for it.

* I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

It’s great to be back in Crystal Ash’s dystopian universe. I was a huge fan of both the Steel Demons MC and the Sons of Odin. This time we meet Aurora (Rori) Wilder, daughter of Mari and her 4 Steel Demon husbands. Rori, like her mother, is visited by a god (in the form of a white dove), and sent on a dangerous mission to save humanity. She’s accompanied by her brother’s best friend - Torrance (Torr) Knight, a man who she’s pined for, for what seems like forever. And together they have to pose as a married couple, to gain entry to a secretive honeymoon resort deep in the Nevada desert.

This is only book one in what promises to be a longer series - but it serves well at setting the scene and introducing the main players. I think I have an inkling who Rori’s harem of men will include, but Crystal gave away few clues.

I’ll be on tenterhooks until the second book is released, for sure. That ending was pretty ominous.

3.5 stars. I am going to start by saying that Crystal Ash is a fabulous author and I fell in love with her spellbinding storytelling skills ever since encountering Steel Demons MC. This first book in the Vengeful Gods series follows Rori as she is chosen by the gods to go in her own mission. It was nice to see some of the original Steel Demons characters back even though it was only a brief glimpse.
I am afraid to say that my initial excitement for the series went a bit downhill here as I struggled to get into the story itself. The concept was intriguing and the Sisterhood of Bathory seems to be in the rise as they attempt to enforce their dominance over the male population. The hardship and constant torture that the gladiators go through at the 'resort' was another solid element that added to the story. Despite the promising premise, I found it difficult to relate to the characters. Perhaps things will pick up in the next book.

I have been waiting on Faithless and let me tell you... IT IS AMAZING! I hate comparing 2nd gen books to the originals, but this was like coming home. Rori is a mix of all of them, but definitely has her own unique personality. She is strong willed and I cannot wait to see how much she is going to grow and come into her own with the task at hand.

Faithless is the 2nd gen to Steel Demons, so it comes years after the end of final book. Things have been great, but there is some evilness that is looming out there and Rori is a chosen one, among others.

Being that it is set in a dystopian world, there are things that are a bit primal. There are some rough scenes and Rori's bleeding heart comes out a few times during those. I loved watching her connections grow.

The cliffhanger is a bit of a doozy. I am waiting to see what kind of vengeance she is going to bring in the next one!

I had a really long, gushing review typed out and then my computer battery died and it didn't freaking save!!!!!!! So here we are. Here is my cliffs notes of the review I left. I'll get another more fleshed out one posted later.

Ash does it again. I freaking love the world the created in the SDMC series, and she continues it with Faithless. This story follows Rori (Mari's daughter), and her own obstacles. There are some yummy men, and while my heart will always belong to Shadow, I am really intrigued by some of the new guys introduced in this one.

All in all, another fantastic book by Ash. If you haven't read the Steel Demons MC series, then I suggest you start there because not only is it fantastic, it really gives you an idea of the world they are living in. I mean, you don't have to, but do yourself a favor and do it.

when i tell y'all i SQUEALED when crystal announced this series, i'm not exaggerating. the steel demons mc series is one of my favorite series EVER and i will take any and all spin offs in this world--ESPECIALLY when it's about the next generation.

rori is a firecracker and i expect nothing less from the eldest wilder sibling!! torrance had my heart from the very beginning and santos very quickly made a home in my heart as well. i can't wait to see more of him and devin!!

so far, vengeful gods has EVERYTHING i love in books: friends to lovers, only one bed, an engaging plot, and the hints at a big bad whose butt i already want to kick. i devoured this in a day and will be twiddling my thumbs until book two!!

This is a weird arsed book.

The beginning is bizarre, the world building minimal and tbh I kept wondering what the hell was going on.

One min Rory sees a bird the next she's taking off on a quest.

Then she n torre go to the special resort with gladiators. And im absolutely bored stiff!

Let's see, its set in a dystopian future. Although they ride bikes its really stretching it to call it a biker book. Its not, let's jump on that band wagon and grab a few more readers right.

Its all a bit too far fetched, too much assuming and not enough depth.

Its all over the place, as is my review, which reflects the book.

Just really don't like this writing style at all.

Not for me, I need more substance.

If you have been missing the Steel Demons, you are gonna LOVE this!!!

Faithless is book #1 in the Vengeful Gods MC series. This is a slow burn why choose romance.

Maris daughter is following in her parents footsteps!!!

Over 20 years after the war, Rory gets chosen by a God and is sent on a mission.

I'm telling you guys, Rory is just like her dad's and I love her so much!! Torrance her brothers best friend and her crush goes with her, and oh boy do things get a little crazy!

That cliffhanger has me so excited to see what is gonna happen in the next book! Crystal always knocks it outta the park and I know it's gonna be EPIC!!!!

If you loved her first series the Steel Demons, you'll love this second generation and if you haven't read it GO NOW! Rori Wilder is spicy, feisty and all fire that we loved from Mari and her men. I didn't expect to see much of the parents but i was SO happy to see them play such a big role in the beginning of the book. DADOW!!!! Ugh, my heart bursts I'm so happy. Rori and Torr and their banter is wonderfully refreshing, and the spice is hot! I am afraid for Torrence and her going forward. There as some BIG enemies lurking around that Rori hasn't seen/handled before. Very excited for the next installment because that cliff hanger was just perfection.

I am still to wrap my mind around this story. It was so wonderful to get back with Mari and her meb and seeing them with theirs children is just amazing. Rori is young and quite sheltered, but brave. We know so well that she will find more than one guy to be with, she will be not able to choose, I feel it on my bones. As mother as daughter they said. Gods are back. World is again in danger. And Rori sets to save it. This story is full of suspense, mysteries, gladiators (well.. kind of) … and greatest storytelling you can dream of. The cliffhanger as usual did not make me happy at all. I need the next part right around.. well.. now. I love Rori already as I did Mari at the time.

O.M.G! I loved the Steele demons series and now we get to read about the next generation! Boom! Just like her parents Rori is a strong, gutsy and brave character that you can’t help but love and The gods have a job for her and so her amazing journey begins. It’s well paced, emotional, filled with mystery, suspense, violence, drama and so much more as Torrance steps up to the plate to go with Rori on this dangerous adventure set in the same dystopian world that we have seen before. An awesome slow burn why choose romance that’s intense and very addictive as the author does a fantastic job of drawing you in and with that ending, has you anxious for the next book.

Faithless by Crystal Ash is Book 1 in the Vengeful Gods MC. This book begins 30 years after the Steel Demons MC series. Rori is the oldest daughter of the main characters in Steel Demons. The world building is excellent and the character development great. We are introduced to Santos, Devin, Hudson and Torrance. Crystal has inserted the Roman era with Gladiators into the storyline which makes this unique. This is a page turning adventure you will not want to end. Anxious to see where Crystal takes Rori and her men. Highly recommended read. Received an ARC and this is my voluntary review.
