MADISON

Maybe one day this crazy instinct that we’re supposed to be together, will mercifully disappear.

The ridiculously popular man of my dreams has a lucky brunette pinned to a wall.
The way Nicholas Cocker kisses isn’t like anyone else.
You don’t have to be the recipient of his attention to know he is skilled.
Screw the cover fee for alcohol. Billy should charge a ticket for this show.

What would it be like to be kissed by him?
Fluidly held by his fingers?
Like some prize-winning salsa dancer is showing me his moves?
He has no idea who I am...and yet for a year I've dreamt of meeting him.

I drop my proud gaze to the floor.

“Maddie?” Denise gently says.

“Huh?”

“You look like someone broke your heart.”

Cocker Brothers, The Cocky Series is all stand-alone romance novesl that can be read out of order.
For a limited time, this eBook includes a BONUS NOVEL from the series, too.
Enjoy!

Title: ➳ ❤Cocky and Out of My League
Series ➳ Cocker Brothers #16
Author: ➳ Faleena Hopkins

Faleena Hopkins just keeps them coming
⭐⭐⭐⭐

ღ I just can't get enough of Faleena Hopkins & Cocker family series.. Lord have mercy I could never get enough of Grandma May Cocker & Yelling “language” whenever they swear?

♥●•Nicholas seem to take after all the Cocker’s before him, with love 'em & leave 'em theme
Nichols has no idea who she is...but yet for over year she has dreamt of meeting him- will Nichol realize in time??????????????

♥●• Madison-. Lord this girl is shy, she one of those that live in the shadows

For only a Split Second I thought that Maddison was going to be one of those stalker chicks.. I really loved when she had stood up for herself & show how she is very strong women, cuz lord have mercy Nichols needs a strong women to put him in his place

💞. If you are in the mood for fun loving humor & can handle the very cocky bunch of males & Lil chase in your romance this is the book for you.

A head scratching experience

This story is about a boy and a girl and the many boys and girls in the boys family. I thought it was a stand-alone, however, it's obvious that some of the other names, had their own story. I ended without finishing, when they went on their first date and, "his billionaire, stay-at-home dad cousin and his CO wife." dropped by.

The story isn't compelling enough to keep your interest through the maze of names the author showcase, perhaps as a way to keep the reader abreast with previous characters?
Didn't finish, had to quit and move onto a better story.

She’s back…unfortunately I did not care for the last book but this one brought me back with full force. I absolutely loved it. Nicholas and Maddison stole my heart. The love of family and friends is everything. Is Nicholas out of her league or is Maddison out of his?

I received a complimentary copy from the author.

Good

Lately I have been getting tired of the extreme manwhore genre and Nicholas was a super manwhore. I am definitely not a fan of men who sleep with two or three different women in one night but Nicholas's journey to change and grow was refreshing. I like how he was celibate from the moment he met Madison. I really liked Madison. I liked her strength and determination and self worth. She really had a thing for Nicholas but knew she was worth so much more than being a notch on his bedpost and made him prove himself to her. We need more females like her in our stories. The cocker family is definitely present and enjoyable as always. This was a good and enjoyable read for me despite Nicholas being an icky manwhore.

When: your brand is cocks, and males with Cocky attitudes... then you trade mark "Cocky" and develop a bad attitude yourself; you KNOW you just fucked your career... I hope you got a pen name and a backup idea, because Cocky just fucked you royally.

WOW!  Again Faleena!  You blow my mind.  I really loved this story.  Playboy Nicholas struck by cupids arrow.

This was a wonderful story of how Maddie snags the hot playboy.  The one who she sees macking on female after female at the parties she attends with her bff Denise.  She has had a crush on him for the longest time, but she is not even a blip on his radar.  A plain girl who blends into the background.  No one notices her.  Till one day he does.

Nicholas loves the single life, vowing to live it to the fullest.  One and sometimes three a night.  Till one day he breaks up a cat fight at one of the parties.  When he takes one of the girls from the fight to a room to calm down, he is shocked.  This plain girl has got some curves and she is feisty as hell.  What would she be like?  Well he does not get a chance to make a move.  She blocks all his advances.  Wow!  That has never happened before.  When a fire breaks out she tries to go in to save a dog he realizes there is a lot to this woman and he wants to know more.  How can he convince her to give him a shot?

This book was funny, tragic and sweet all rolled into one.  I loved the chemistry between Maddie and Nicholas.  When something terrible happens Nicholas goes all knight and shining armor on her.  Again it just goes to show that if you get into the Cocker inner circle then you are protected as one of their own.  FAMILY!!  That bond they have is strong and I love it.

The characters are amazing.  Each one has a unique personality.  The strength and bond the Cocker family has is amazing and they have each others back.  No matter what.  Ask any fan and they will tell you that their favorite part in each book is the ending where there is always a family BBQ with Grams yelling LANGUAGE!!!  or someone fighting over the homemade ginger ale.

If you have not read this series, then I highly suggest you do.  You are missing out on a wonderful book series that just gets better and better with each book.  Full of humor, love, tragedy, trust, family and cockiness.  Once you start you will become a fan for life.  Nothing more exciting than when Faleena posts on Facebook that a book is live.  :)

Is there really only one soulmate for everyone?
Madison and Nicholas have alot to work through but will they be courageous and strong enough to see it to the end? I enjoyed Faleena Hopkins book because while it is a romance novel it does not ignore the messiness of life. And Nicholas is a hot mess, hot in more ways than one. Nicholas is definitely a Cocker and it takes a strong understanding woman to tame a Cocker. The question is will Maddie be strong enough to believe in herself to see past the mess. As in life, along the way there are misunderstandings, good and bad events but it is how you react and deal with them that defines you. As in life it is about more than just Maddie and Nicholas, it is about their family and friends. I think that you will recognize at least one family member, friend or acquaintance in Ms. Hopkins characters and can’t help but fall in love with them. While each book can be read as a standalone once you read one I think you will want to read them all. While this is a light easy read I couldn’t help but keep coming back and thinking about it. The only problem is now I have to wait for the next book! I want to read about everyone in the Cocker family as I’m sure you will.

Nicholas and Madison prove that lightning strikes when you least expect it. Madison has always been the type to fade into the background of life. It has it’s blessing but also it's curses - case and point being oh so invisible to Demigods such as Nicholas Cocker. She's not naive she knows he's a player of the highest order, but just once it would be nice to live out the meet cute fantasy she has concocted in her fantasies. When the playboy all of a sudden turns his charm ray on her, she is somewhat suspect of his intentions. He's not known for his staying prowess and she has enough dignity to not be one of the many. Nicholas has a very upfront love’em and leave’em policy in place. He never makes promises or leads anyone on - and leaves everyone feeling like a million bucks. Until he meets a saucy minx that isn't swayed by his patented charms. Madison is the first girl ever to make him want to work for it and that excites and terrifies him. The Cockers are back joined by some funs friends and a furry companion to knock it out of the park.

I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book.

A huge fan of the Cocky series and have loved each and everyone of these books and this one was no exception. Nicholas at first might make you want to sleep his Cocker face but it will not take long for you to see beneath his arrogant exterior that below it lurks a heart the size of Atlanta. Maddie is a girl that doesn’t see that she is as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside. Their story is one full of fun, laughter, drama, angst and passion. A great addition to this series and cannot wait for what the author has in store for us next.

Another amazing Cocker family story from Faleena! Nicholas (son of Jeremy) is a cocky playboy who has all the great qualities we expect of a Cocker man - loyalty, confidence, and family values. Madison is a shy girl who hides behind a lot of humour and sarcasm. They are brought together by a feisty girl fight and their love of dogs. I enjoyed the humour in their banter together, and also Madison's much more outgoing best friend Denise. Nicholas and Madison had a few obstacles to overcome in order to find their way, and part of that meant we got to see more of the extended Cocker family. I loved that we had more of Grandma Nance and Grandpa Michael Cocker, and also Grams, in this story. This is such a great series, and I am excited to see which Cocker is next!

HEART-MELTING PASSIONATE ROMANCE

FLAMES OF TRUE-LOVE is this story; Faleena Hopkins has a way of bringing her characters to life with her gift of writing, wit, and charm. There are times I just want to jump in her stories and be a part of the Cocker family. Inside; family love, humor, suspense, danger, breathtaking scene descriptions, a secret unfolds, true friendship, and passionate sensuous romance.

Nicholas' charismatic personality and head-turning looks have women fawning for his attention which he gladly gives for a night. He has never had a girlfriend; not looking to make a commitment until he meets Madison. Madison is intelligent, a nanny and knows what she wants when it comes to matters of the heart. She has always wanted Nicholas to be hers but feels he is out of her league; she is a bit reserved but has the heart of a warrior. Getting their happy ending is quite an entertaining ride!

SAVORED every moment of this captivating story; a true page-turner. Nicholas and Madison are fabulous together and their romance is true, and filled with much happiness. I so enjoy these Cocker family stories; they are like coming home. If you enjoy steamy romances with a whole lot of family love this is definitely a fantastic book for your library. I loved this story so much {I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy and bought the book too.} Without, reservations, I recommend this read.

Phenomenal continuation of the series!! Nicholas has gained quite a reputation around town as a play boy. As a Cocker, his reputation and good looks leave him no shortage of interested females. Madison can't help but harbor a crush on Nicholas, but sees him with most of his conquests. When he finally notices her, she doesn't want to be a notch in his bedpost. Can she ever trust his affections?
This series is so amazing!! Every book has such a positive message of hope, love, and the importance of family. It also has some seriously hot scenes you don't want to miss. I've read all the books in this series, and I can personally say that they are all unique and have exceptional writing quality. The subject matter and characters are well developed and addictive to read. I'm a huge fan of her work. I voluntarily received an ARC of the book.

I voluntarily read an ARC for my honest review. Feels like my family has come together again, and everyone who reads about the Cocker family is invited. Nicholas Cocker is a player and has no intention of getting married anytime soon. But like all the Cocker men, when they fall they fall hard. Now to convince Madison that he is more than his reputation. Madison, has admired him from afar for so long, but she doesn't want to be another notch to him. When they come together it was meant to be. I love that they rescue each other, along with a dog and a lifetime friend of Nicholas. True family and friendships, that is the Cocker way. Such an amazing book to add to an outstanding series.I am truly addicted to this series.

Do You Believe In Soulmates?

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book, Cocky And Out Of My League by Faleena Hopkins.

This is book 16 of the Cocker Brother series but book 8 of the original Cocker’s offspring. The series can be read in any order but are much more enjoyable if read from the beginning.

Faleena’s latest book was just what I was looking for! It kept my attention from start to finish. I loved every word of it! Reading one of Faleena’s books gives me so much happiness!!

At first I wasn’t sure I was going to like Nicholas due to his “man-slut” ways but it’s amazing what falling in love with the right woman can do to make you want to be a better man. But, is it too late for Nicholas to redeem himself and convince Maddie that he is worthy of her?

Another great Cocker family member.
I love this series. The more you read the more embedded you get in the family and the more you learn about all of them, not just the current book's focus. That's not to say that you couldn't read each one as a standalone but please don't, you would be missing so much.
Nicholas seemed a little harsher than the usual Cocker man at the very start of the book but believe me he stood up to the Cocker standard.
Wonderful characters as always.
I voluntarily received this book as an ARC to review. Thank you.

If I could give the books in this series higher than 5 stars,I would! They just keep getting better and better (I think I say that after reading each of these books)! Faleena makes you want to be part of this phenomenal family. Nicholas is definitely a player when he first meets Madison, but love hits him hard. Maddie has always thought that she and Nicholas were meant to be together, but only in her dreams. Can they make it work? Sensitive subjects are effectively dealt with in the middle of HOT romance. Can’t wait to see who’s story will be next!!!

Like a family reunion

Wow! I've missed the Cocker family. I have grown to love them and their friendly happy loving family.

Nicholas and Maddie was a beautiful story, it was great to see Jeremy and Meagan again and catch up with their family.

Faleenas stories flow so easily and touch your heart so deeply. Its as if you're there living it with the characters. Fantastic writing. I love how she ties all the story lines together and ties everything into a time frame. I can't wait for the bonus scenes and then to see who will be the star of her next book.

I purchased this book late last night, decided to take a peek before going to sleep - WRONG MOVE. I read it from start to finish.
I've read all of the Cocky books, Faleena is oh so very talented as a writer and they have all been enjoyable. Her characters are multi-dimensional and something you can connect with. I've also read her earlier writings, so look for those, too. But fair warning, you may become addicted to this series.

This is the best series ever. If you love family, honor, true love and a good laugh you must read this series. Nicholas and Maddie have become my absolute favorite. Faleena has topped every other book with this one. (which I did not think was possible) I don’t know how she does it but she draws you in with her writing you become a part of the book and really feel all of the emotions and the love of this family. I can’t wait for the next one. #cockersforever

I love the members of this amazing family! Nicholas had no idea what he really wanted, until it was right in front of him. I loved his and Maddy's story, and the funny, engaging dialogue always had me grinning and laughing out loud. I always love seeing members of the family make their appearances, and when there's an adorable dog involved, you know this means there'd be some cuddly moments as well!

I could only give 5 stars but I felt this story deserved so much more! I, too, played tug of war with Nicholas' careless ways in the beginning. But as the story unfolded and his true nature, Cocker blood, revealed itself, I fell head over heels for him! What I walked away with was the true spirit of #fightwithlight. I'm so thankful for Faleena Hopkins putting so much of herself into this story. Thank you for this continuing journey. I'm better because of it!

Nicholas is not ready to have his manwhoring ways used against him, especially when he actual wants the woman he finally notices. Maddison is used to being in the shadows and her friend id trying to get her to be confident in herself and stand up for what is right. Her against the wall in the middle of the party seemed out of place for her and the story. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Amazing

Wow! You’ve done it again Faleena! This was amazing! These two just stand out to me, have no idea why because I loved every couple. There is something about Nicholas that pulls you in and you can’t help but love him and Maddie.....well she was the best counterpart! I really want more of them. I’m sure in future books we, as readers, will get it!

What can I say about this story. I know I love this one. They just keep getting better as they go. I don’t like giving anything away so I will just say what a unique love story between Nicholas and Maddie. Love how he finally got his head together and saw what was waiting for him the whole time. You did it again Faleena can’t wait for the next book

I love Faleena's Cocker family! I have to say though at first I hated Nicholas! I didn't think that he would be able to redeem himself in my eyes. I was so wrong! He was amazing and so was Madison. I devoured this book and can't wait to do a reread!! Well done Faleena, as usual!

Definitely another favorite! However, the ending felt as if though it was rushed. I literally never saw the ending coming. I feel as if though that could have been way better considering her other books. But overall, it was fantastic!
