The book opens up with Red Lake waking up after spending 2 years missing. She has been tortured and has no memory of what has happened to her. As she begins to piece things together weird things start to happen. When she’s angry things explode around her. And the injuries she sustained during her torture has healed remarkably quickly. Discovering she has some unusual superpowers her memories start to return but she may not like them all. And she can’t trust everyone including those that she once thought were friends. This is a thrilling supernatural read that is suitable for YA and adults alike. It is a real page turner and held my attention throughout. I can’t wait to read the second book in the series.

An excellent book which held my attention right from the start. I loved the way we were kept wondering just what exactly has happened to Red and what she had, or is.

Incredible
Red was kidnapped and held for a few years. When she reunited with her family she not the same. Now she has powers, she trying to get under control. Plus try to catch the person who took her. Along the way she make some new friends and find her true love. But through it all she will be left with questions I hope we get answered in the next book.

A wonderful read!
Red is a fantastic young heroine. I enjoyed the variety and personalities of the characters. The story was engaging and well told. The Supernatural aspects of the story had some new and original ideas that brought a freshness to the book. I am looking forward to reading the next one.
