Here is a Top 10 list from Ann about her likes, dislikes, and oddities:

1. I despise whipped cream. There, I admitted it in writing. Let the ridiculing begin.
2. Even though I have lived as far south as Key Largo, Florida and as far north as Maine, I landed in the middle.
3. If I don't make a conscious effort not to, I will drink nothing but tea morning, noon and night. Hot tea, sweet tea, green tea––I love it all.
4. There doesn't seem to be much in life that is better than coming home to a couple of big dogs who are overjoyed to see me. My other family members usually show significantly less enthusiasm about my return.
5. Singing in my bestest, loudest voice does not make my family put on their happy faces. This includes the big, loving dogs referenced above.
6. Yes, I am aware that bestest is not a word.
7. Dorothy was right. There's no place like home.
8. All of the numerous bottles in my shower must be lined up with their labels facing out. It makes me feel a little like Julia Roberts' mean husband from the movie 'Sleeping with the Enemy,' but I can't seem to control this particular quirk.
9. I love, love, love finding a great bargain.
10. Did I mention that I hate whipped cream? It makes my stomach churn to look at it, touch it, smell it, or even think about it. Great––now I'm thinking about it. Ick!

Whiplash Warning 😉

Poppy and Cooper would give global warming a run for the leader in extreme temperatures. They're feuding. They're flirting. They're like icicles. They're an inferno of passion. It's enough to give a person whiplash! 😁😁😁

I really enjoyed the quick read with the insane banter and unexpected surprises. I do like the little references to the "His First Time" series that preceded this one.

Another great book to the series! This one brings Poppy and Cooper's story. Two opposites who end up being the perfect match. It's well written ,moves quickly and smoothly and is a great fast paced read.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
(Believe me when I say you won’t put it down until the last page is read…you will find yourself getting upset cause someone called, texted or bothered you while reading this one, you will find yourself up at ungodly hours just to finish it knowing you have to be at work early (like 3am early) the very next day) YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
Every one of the books in this monthly series and you will be disappointed from book one to this one. You see every month there is a match up this month it is Poppy for the second time she sweet with a harder outer shell then most, she is outspoken, known to be obnoxious, a bit of a bossy something and sometimes are actions are unthinkable but overall a loyal friend. Cooper sexy as all get out and of course Poppy steals his parking spot and gives him a hard time about him stealing his spot and she has the nerve to fight him on it so how is it possible that he is matched with the loudmouth women who stole his parking spot so is it a match (for real this time)?

Insulting Themselves into Love? . . .

When outspoken Poppy Pendleton unapologetically swoops in and steals Cooper Bridgerton’s parking space as they were gathering for the May’s Man of the Month Club meeting, anyone can see these two are destined to be enemies.

Cooper was very upset when he realized Poppy was his match and didn’t want to accept the date. Daphne, Poppy's friend, offered to call Cooper’s younger brother, Ben, and have him meet them on a double date to make it less awkward. Cooper accepts that proposal. Insulting each other as they pretend to make fun of Daphne and Ben’s obvious adoration of each other, Cooper and Poppy laugh together. Calling him the “worm in her apple” and other such insults, Daphne reminds them they are not acting romantically. When Poppy asks Cooper if he gives up trying to fling another insult, he told her he could go all night – to which she flirtatiously replied in a husky voice, “We’ll see about that!” Can the couple turn their verbal sparring into a surprising night they will want to have over and over?

Poppy is a smart outspoken woman that does as she wants. She is going to the meeting of the Man of the Month to see is she has been picked for the date this month. She sees a parking space and decides it’s going to be hers even though a man is getting ready to pull into it. She pulls in and goes inside. Cooper is the Man if the Month and was parking until a car cuts him off and takes his parking spot. He parks elsewhere and goes in and sees the woman and the two end up glaring at a each other. He’s usually a sweet charming guy but she makes him angry. They both find out that she’s his date but he refuses it. They get talked in to a double date and go but they trade insults back and forth. But later can’t stop thinking about the other. Can enemies become more?

Cooper is the man of the month for May. He is handsome, sexy, financial advisor and he is a little irritated when it comes to Poppy. Poppy is abrasive, sassy, independent and irritating. Who is his match - Poppy! Cooper doesn’t even want one date with her. This is the beginning of a crazy hate relationship. What will happen next? Poppy is the way she is because of her mother. This adds another level to the crazy relationship. Is it a relationship? And if so, is it a hate relationship or a love relationship or both? It is a very unique and original storyline. It is interesting, oddly entertaining, fast paced with some twists and turns along the road to a relationship of love.

Short, steamy, feel-good story. Another one of the Man of the month club series. May is dedicated to Poppy a free-spirited artist, a call-it-as-she-sees it kind of girl and Cooper, a somewhat cynical investment banker, who is the brother of Ben, who was Man of the month in April. Their story starts as an intense initial dislike which through derogatory insults hurled at each other, dressed up as witty banter the protagonists come to realise the fun they are having with each other. Even if there was a mistake in the algorithm that matched them, they decide to stay together and their relationship is headed for a HEA. A pleasant read, but a bit too short.

Poppy and Daphne are going to the meeting to find out if Poppy is a match with this month's bachelor. While looking for a parking spot she finds one but knows someone else is waiting for it but she sneaks for mini cope in the spot. The man is not happy she took his spot.
Once inside Cooper sees the girl who took his parking spot and glares at Poppy.
The start the meeting to see who matches with Cooper. Low and behold is Poppy. Neither is happy about it a all. The o on the date with Daphne and his brother Ben. The whole time they throw insults back and forth.
As much as they seem to dislike each other, they also seem to really enjoy each other. They work great together.
They started on Rocky ground but end up in love. Another successful match.

Poppy is not everyone's cup of tea, she of bold, unforgiving and a force when needed. Cooper the man of the month, he handsome, caring, but with a quick wit and a stubborn side. With an unpleasant meeting in the parking lot, Cooper was out right upset when he realized Poppy was his match and refused to the date. Dauphine, Poppy's friend, offered to call Ben so they could go on double date so it would not seem so awkward. What started out to the causal observer as insults war turned into the best night in a long time.

May's Man of the Month Club is fun read with as Cooper and Poppy go head to head. They navigate through their stubbornness as they each others break down walls and challenging to discover more. I love how in the end Cooper chooses Poppy.

This is a fun series, with touches from other series'. Don't worry if you haven't read the other series you'll never know what I'm talking about, that's how good Ann and Callie are.
Standalone with no cliffhangers.
For the first time in her matchmaking duties Phoebe had to have gotten this one wrong. Poppy and Cooper are a disaster.
Poppy is a loud and in your face kind of woman, with no apologies.
Cooper has to be in charge, period.
How could these 2 ever work?
The heat is there, but is that enough?

This is the first book in a long time that I actually laughed until I cried. Cooper Bridgerton is the next man of the Month bachelor that is going to be matched with the algorithm app that Phoebe put together. When she announces that Poppy is his match. After she steals his parking spot he absolutely refuses to date her. They end up eating at Wendy's and the insult scene is started and it's hilarious. This just proved that opposites attract. This was a cute, sweet, steamy story with great characters. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

An Explosion Love Affair -
Poppy is known as the loud-mouthed no holds barred woman, who everyone loves to hate. Cooper is one of the son’s of the town’s well known family, who is gorgeous and wealthy to boot. Their first interaction is disastrous, but they soon find out after surviving a couple of obstacles and steaming the sheets, that they are in fact meant to be together. This was a quick read, that I really enjoyed and was left want more. I will definitely recommend this book as your next quick read.

The author has given us a fast paced story that pulls us into the lives of Cooper and Poppy and does not let go. Cooper has agreed to be the man of the month for his friend, Phoebe, he is hopeful that she will find his soulmate for him. However, when he is matched with Poppy, the most obnoxious woman of the group, he is quite disappointed. Do they truly belong together or is the match a major mistake?

May's man of the month is Cooper Bridgerton, his younger brother was Aprils man of the month and matched with Poppy's best friend Daphne. This can be read and enjoyed as a standalone. It's fast paced, steamy, and witty. Poppy is bold and most definitely a strong personality and she clashes with Cooper from the very beginning. How can these two very different people end up being perfect matches for each other?

I enjoyed Poppy and Cooper's story, they were so different yet so right for each other. I felt a connection to Poppy from the start and liked how Cooper changed my mind about him. I liked how they didn't shy away from their connection and were vulnerable with each other. Their banter was inspired. I thought the story was packed with emotions, flowed well and had a twist I didn't see coming. I could have happily read more about these two.

We are at the month of May in the Man of The Month Club series and in this book we get Cooper and Poppy's story. I loved the way Cooper and Poppy meet and how they end up matches at the Club. At first neither was happy because they are total opposites but the more time they spent together they realize they are a great match. From the crazy fun banter to the happily ever after this is a great addition to the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Poppy finally gets her match and it doesn’t start off on the right foot. It’s actually pretty funny how they had to go back and forth. As cute as the story was though I had a hard time actually feeling their chemistry. I think they needed more time to actually develop their relationship. I did love how Cooper stood up for his feelings and didn’t let her get away.

Continuing the monthly meetings aimed at match-making, the abrasive artist friend of Daphne's, Poppy Pendleton is matched to Cooper Bridgerton, a staid finance broker. He is the brother of Ben, Daphne's boyfriend, with Poppy and Cooper meeting in less than stellar circumstances earlier in the evening when she stole his parking place that he was patiently waiting for...refusing to be alone with her, Daphne and Ben agree to meet the duo at Wendy's...both throwing insults at the other and having a terrific time...she was a challenge and Cooper needed one in his life...so you will need to read this sexy romp to see if opposites can attract...I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Man of the Month Club: MAY (An Enemies-to-Lovers Hot Shot of Romance Quickie) by Ann Omasta and Callie Love. This is such a good series featuring quick witted banter, match making apps, quirky yet appealing charters, and sweet HEA. Poppy is such a great character, at times she really tugged on my heartstrings while I was hoping and wishing her knight would come in and show her that she is a great person as is. Cooper is all that and more (he checks all the boxes). I enjoyed the push and pull between these two and would recommend this series, this book, and this author duo to others. Poppy is known for his doing what she wants. When she is matched with Cooper foe the Man of the Month date they realize they just met and clashed heads so he turns down the date. They finally agree to a double date. Can they get past first impressions to see where they can go?

I LOVED this one. The whole opposites attract. I was so sad in the beginning when Poppy was happy but Cooper seemed disgusted. I loved watching their feeling unfold and seeing where the relationship took them. I freaking love these books!

3.5⭐️

I liked the fact that for once they didn’t just fall hook line and sinker / love at first sight but I still feel that it lacked any real connection and chemistry. Taking into account these stories are really short and there probably isn’t enough time to make it all happen.

The way this couple meets is priceless, loved how blunt and straightforward Poppy is with everyone, but of course that is just to protect herself from getting too close. Cooper is so straight laced that he does need some adventure, even though they rub each other the wrong way they challenge one another and fit well together.

I was completely taken with these complete opposites. Cooper and Poppy got off on the wrong foot. They did nothing but exchange putdowns. This is all it took for the to go to fighting to the bedroom. Poppy misreads Cooper at times but he is quick to correct her. I have loved the Man of the Month Club books. It is an interesting idea that a matchmaking service will find your compatible match.
