What a great starter set this is! I will update as I finish each of the books.
Wicked as Sin
My initial thoughts when I finished Wicked as Sin were: We finally have One-Mile’s story and believe me it’s everything I hoped it would be. Now Bring on Wicked Ever After!
Pierce Walker aka “One-Mile” is someone that has made several appearances in both the Wicked Lovers and Devoted Lovers Series so of course he had caught my eye and I had hoped we would get to know more about him and now Shayla Black has gifted us with his story, and I LOVED IT!
Brea Bell has such a pure heart she sees the good in everyone even when she is told someone is bad and to stay away from them she believes what she feels in her heart to be true. If you read Devoted to Pleasure you've met Cutter who is Brea's best friend, I will admit to liking Cutter in his book and I think it's a good thing I didn't see this side of him before because I really disliked him in this book and I almost couldn't believe it was the same person. Cutter is super protective of Brea but he is down right nasty with anything that has to do with One-Mile, it's a very ugly side to his personality.
This story is one of the good girl that falls for the bad boy, but really is he as bad as everyone believes him to be? As with all of Shayla Black's books this one has the heat on high, so make sure the kiddies aren't trying to read over your shoulder as your reading this little gem of a book.
If you haven't read the Wicked Lovers or Devoted Lovers series there's no need to worry because you do not need to have read them to enjoy this book. But if you haven't I would highly recommend you adding them to your TBR list because they are great reads.

Okay I will admit it, I read this series out of order so I sort of knew what to expect going into this book but not totally so there were still some big revelations.
I LOVE Keeley and I knew I would because I really liked her in the other books I read, but, this story shines a light on her that makes me LOOOOOVE her even more!
It's hard when family doesn't talk to one another and it's even harder when you have been deceived by someone you blindly trusted which is the case for Maxon. My heart broke for him.
Shayla Black not only writes steamy stories that make you hot under the collar she writes stories that pull at your heartstrings and this one is no different. Keeley and Maxon will have you rooting for them right from the beginning. The narration is done by Christian Fox and he did a wonderful job with bringing this steamy story to life. Happy Reading or Listening whichever you prefer I promise you wont be disappointed!!!

This was a re-read for me… and I don’t often do that unless the story and the author are VERY MEMORABLE! I was quickly reminded why I LOVE Shayla Black! “Wicked As Sin” is about a Really Bad Boy and a Really Good Girl… The chemistry is undeniable and the storyline keeps you on the edge of your seat! I’m now going to go a re-read the second part because it is just That Good!!! “Seduced by the Bodyguard” is more of a short story. It’s what I call a “lightning bolt” romance, where the two lovers fall for each other extremely fast and extremely hard! This one is an “age gap” romance as well, not my favourite, but good just the same. “More Than Want You” is the first novel in the “Reed Family Reckoning” Series that I absolutely LOVE! Things don’t go as the male character expects, and I’m just tickled that he gets caught by the LOVE BUG!! Again, this read has motivated me to go back and re-read the rest of this series! I don’t often do that, but Shayla Black is worth it! Five Stars on all 3 books!.

**Wicked as Sin
I have to say that I have not read the Wicked Lovers series but I have read the Devoted Lovers series. Bringing both of those series together with what I would call smaller characters (at the time) is one way to bring them into the spotlight.
Pierce “One-Mile” Walker is the man to call when you need the kill shot. He worked for the military for years and was a sniper and that is where he got his name from. He keeps his heart under wraps and doesn't give it to anyone. But when he meets Brea Bell, things begin to change for him.
Brea Bell is an all-around innocent girl. She is the preacher's daughter and is pure as snow. When she meets "One-Mile" she has feelings come alive in her that she can not deny. When her best friend Cutter warns her to stay away from him, she tries to but the pull between her and Pierce is too strong.
Can Brea keep her innocence and stay away from One-Mile? Will One-Mile continue to pursue her because he wants her? Will she give her innocence to save her best friend? And what about that ending, will One-Mile come back?
I love Shayla Black and her writing style is one that will leave you on the edge of your seat and breathless. Her stories are well worth the read and leave you wanting more.

After spending the night together, Keeley is shocked when Maxon offers her money to distract his brother. She is heartbroken that he would choose his job over her.
Can Keeley show Maxon that family is more important than his job? Will Maxon realize his feelings for Keeley before it's too late? Can Keeley forgive Maxon and move on with her life? Will Maxon win the listing of a lifetime?
If you haven't started this series yet, I recommend starting it and begin with this one. It wasn't bad with the way I read it but it helped me learn what I was missing. I love this series and can't wait for the next one.

Three impressive and stunning first books...
More Than Want You
A spectacular start to an incredible series
This is the first book I have read from Shayla Black. I am hooked....I am always a sucker for a bad boy with possibilities to change....and Maxon is really bad. He goes on an emotional journey he is not accustomed to when he falls hard for Keeley. She is not the usual fare he normally goes for. She challenges him on all levels. I found myself totally engrossed in these characters, laughing and crying with both of them. It had twists and turns that were unexpected. But Shayla managed to get these two to their final destination in life. I highly recommend this and I am excited to read the 2nd book in the Series, More Than Need You, which focuses on Maxon's brother....

I am amazed at myself. I fell hard hook line and sinker for Pierce "One-Mile" Walker. The gritty no filter Pierce shocked me by actually having true feelings for someone. That someone being Brea Bell. She was an innocent, pure, a preacher's daughter who was genuine, caring and would not hurt a fly. How could Pierce even hope to think it possible she would be interested in him. He makes a living as a sniper whose goal is to getting the perfect "kill shot" every time he goes on a mission.
The one thing both Pierce and Brea cannot deny is their thirst and desire for one another. Brea is so confused and riddled with guilt at her feelings for Pierce. Her best friend Cutter even tried to keep her and Pierce apart going as far as to say Brea was his girlfriend to get Pierce to stay away from her. That of course did not stop Pierce, he always gets what he wants and he wants Brea.
This story was a nail biter with suspense and action. We also get a glimpse into the many layers of Pierce Walker. This couple captivated me from the first chapter and I look forward to the continuing story of One Mile and Brea.
More Than Want You
A spectacular start to an incredible series
This is the first book I have read from Shayla Black. I am hooked....I am always a sucker for a bad boy with possibilities to change....and Maxon is really bad. He goes on an emotional journey he is not accustomed to when he falls hard for Keeley. She is not the usual fare he normally goes for. She challenges him on all levels. I found myself totally engrossed in these characters, laughing and crying with both of them. It had twists and turns that were unexpected. But Shayla managed to get these two to their final destination in life. I highly recommend this and I am excited to read the 2nd book in the Series, More Than Need You, which focuses on Maxon's brother....

The is an anthology of three series starters written by Shayla Black: Wicked as Sin, Seduced by the Bodyguard, and More Than Want You. I could review each title separately, but that would be cumbersome and could risk too many spoilers for the reader, so I am going to give an overview of the body of work in more generalities. All three books are stories written about alpha-men. The first is a picture of the anti-hero, he is an honorable man who is misunderstood but not in the habit of ingratiating with or explaining himself to others. We see his transformation once he encounters the heroine, who is his opposite: the virgin daughter of a Baptist Pastor. The second, a novella, is the highly skilled, dedicated bodyguard who is looking for a life change to a quiet, country life, who must protect the beautiful pop star when her life is threatened. The third is a man who has put work and financial success above everything else in his life, including his relationship with a younger brother. The heroine is a free thinking, yoga instructor/Meditation coach who asks the right questions to get him thinking and re-evaluating his life goals and priorities. All three are swept away by love, though the first does not achieve his happily ever after in this book, which ends in a cliffhanger. If I was to rate then separately, I would give the first 5 stars, the second 3 stars(I find that novellas often wind everything up in a bow too quickly), and the third 4 stars. As a collection of series starters I would give this 4 stars. It is a good representation of and introduction to Ms, Black’s work and I believe that it will entice the reader to delve further into these worlds. Ms. Black’s writing is very erotic in nature, so this will be an important thing thing for some readers to know. Her books are well thought-out, organized stories and the worlds she has built fit seamlessly together. Don’t stop with these three, I think her books get better with each addition to the communities she has created.

If you haven't read any of Shayla Black's books and don't know where to start, here's a chance to try 3 of her popular stories in one bundle.
Wicked as Sin
Normally I try and wait if I know the book is a cliffhanger but since Shayla Black wrote this, it's not a big deal for me. These characters wormed their way into my heart and just like that I'm hooked. Pierce (One Mile) and Brea are totally opposite of each other. He's an ex-military and a sniper...she's a preachers daughter. Pierce sees Brea and instantly knows he wants her but there's the problem of a team mate, Cutter and Brea's father. Don't get me started on Cutter! Even though he's a teammate, I'm not liking him very much at the moment. LOL The scenes between the two main characters is sizzling and hot and the story just flows so well that I was lost and didn't realize the time. When things go south, it's going to take everything in him to get back to Brea! Can he do it? Run....do not walk and get this book. As I mentioned , the book ends on a cliffhanger so be prepared. It will be well worth it!
More Than Want You
I love Shayla Black's books and this new series is a wonderful and sexy start!!! Loved the characters and loved the fact that you can feel all the emotions and feelings in the writing!! I'm looking forward to the next book in this series!

A collection of three stories, first stories of series, an ideal way to get to know an author. I have never read this author's work before,
Unfortunately, the first story was very disappointing. The story of a professional sniper and the devoutly obedient daughter of a preacher. Lust at first sight, but where he wants to go for it, she lets herself be held back by her upbringing, her faith, her father and friends. A story made up of loose, stitched together incidents and a terribly annoying, short-sighted, hypocritical adult woman who calls her father Daddy. And then it also ends with a cliffhanger (not that I'm going to read part 2). Rarely have I been so turned off by a main character, and I don't like unannounced cliffhangers. The writing style is easy to read
Reluctantly started story 2 after this. That was a nice enough story though.Short story, not much happens in terms of content, a bit of a cliché theme and I myself am not so convinced of the chemistry between the two main characters.
The third story is the best. Original content, a story that also made me curious about part 2. No cliffhanger, but continuation of the story with secondary characters. I only found the communication between the two main characters a bit tedious and tiring, I'm also not very fond of the writing style, it sometimes resembles long monologues
If I'd only read the first story, I'd never pick up anything by this author again, but the other two stories are promising enough to give me another try.

Each book is in full and will have you hooked before the second chapter.
I've really enjoyed getting acquainted with the amazing characters in each story.
The first book, Wicked as Sin, is soo good. One Mile is a character I wont ever forget. Being the guy everyone thinks poorly of. This story definitely teaches you not to judge people. Brea is a sweetheart. These two will keep you on your toes.
Book 2, Seduced by the Bodyguard, is super steamy. The crazy follows this couple when a young musician, Sophie, gets shot at during a parade. Her temp bodyguard, Rush helps her to safety and find out who is behind the mayhem.
Book 3, More Than Want You, follows Maxwell and Kelley's story. A jerk and a sweetheart. Everything you could want in a story. This is an amazing read!
Each of these books has a happily ever after that will leave you wanting more.
I look forward to getting to read more books in each of the series.

Nice little starter pack!
I love Shayla Black’s stories so I was excited to see this 3-pack of the 1st stories from 3 different series. It’s certainly a unique idea.
Each of the stories are great, but I was disappointed that the 1st story, Wicked as Sin isn’t complete a complete story, it’s part 1 of 2 of the couple’s story.
My favorite of the pack is the 2nd story, Seduced by the Bodyguard. It’s the shortest at around 100 pages, but it’s a sweet little action/romance story. It kept me flipping the pages quickly, in one sitting. I loved both the down-to-earth pop-star FMC & the sweet & dominant MMC bodyguard that agrees to watch over her at a parade when her regular bodyguard gets sick. Lots of things happen and he protects her from danger. There’s a very sweet ending.
All-in-all, if you’re interested in her books and have been interested in checking some out, this is a great way to do that in one fell swoop.

So much to rave about these three stories - but to summarize - each book will deliver all the tension, warm and fuzzies and lightning bolt moments to your heart that you could ever want. My absolute fave was "More Than Want You” from the Reed Family Reckoning series because our hero has to face just as many challenges and obstacles as we're used to our females enduring!
This is the type of collection you can pick up over and over again and still enjoy the sharp writing and endearing characters - and the spice level is up there too!.

This is a fantastic way to sample Shayla Black's work. This gives you three books each the start of a different series. I enjoyed each of the books for different reasons.
Wicked as Sin had me hooked. It didn't take me long to become invested in Pierce and Brea's story. They are both well written characters. This does end on a cliffhanger.
More than Want You is more of an emotional story.
Seduced by the Bodyguard is shorter read but still packs a punch. It is action packed romantic suspense. It kept me guessing. It also has emotion and steam.

This is an amazing collection of stories by Shayla Black and will hook you on her books within the first book in this collection. Each book is the start of three of her amazing series once I started I couldn't put it down and can't wait to read more of her books.

Intriguing drama and sizzling scenes along with fascinating characters made each of the stories in this set a captivating and entertaining read. I loved how the author crafted believable tension and drama but laced it with a beautifully crafted chemistry and created a lasting image in my mind of their romance. Nicely done. Great set.

This is a collection of three series starters and includes "Wicked as Sin" (Wicked and Devoted), "More Than Want You" (Reed Family Reckoning ) and "Seduced by the Bodyguard" (Forbidden Confessions). A couple of these are re-reads for me and just as good as the first go around. I enjoyed all three stories with some action, suspense, intrigue, passion, love and good twists. I love the characters and how their stories develop.

This is a great introduction to the writing of Shayla Black. The characters are well written with flaws that make them realistic. They face dilemmas that will have to they will have to work out. There is plenty of steam for the characters that will keep you flipping the pages.

This is a great way to sample Ms. Black's stories. This is a three book anthology of stories beginning new series. They are well written with strong characters and a ton of steam and each book has it's own unique story to tell. I enjoyed reading this set.

First Glance by Shayla Black is a good, and enjoyable romance read. This is a 3 stories starters in this book. It has Wicked as Sin, Seduced by the Bodyguard, and More Than Want You. The story has a good story line. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry.

Didn't read the first one when I found out it was a cliffhanger. The second one was too quick but ok. I didn't start the last one because it was about a brother trying to get over on his brother. It seems as though her books aren't my kind.

This is a bundle of series starters, each read the start of a different series and there are cliffhangers so beware. These are fast-paced read with plenty of drama, suspense and steam. Great chemistry, plenty of sizzling scenes and lots of emotion. I liked it.
